Near as I can tell, the word "fool" refers to the non-elect, the haters of God, all those dead in sin and trespasses, just as the word "remnant" makes reference to those chosen ones of God, the elect, the predestined, the saved.

A meeting by the River Chebar in Babylon where descendants of exiled Hebrew Pyramid builders gathered to explain what they knew in the presence of priest and scribe Ezekiel, who recorded their knowledge. Wheels within wheels are wooden lobed step-walking machines that when hoisted by rope, step-walked Pyramid blocks upwards, tier by tier progressively and more than two hundred tiers to completion.

Please help me understand the context of being a fool. This is one chapter that reveals to us Christians how being a fool is such sin. Thank you.
  • Norm on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Repent asking for forgiveness and ask Christ into your heart. But do pray for others according to the Word. Be blessed in Christ Jesus. Amen. Acts 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. 1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

To have that kind of love for a mother in law what a blessing for both women. A man would have to be humbled and touched in his heart to wake up and find a woman lying at his feet. A telling story of respect, love, obedience and hope wrapped in a neat little bundle.
  • Tilda on Ephesians 6 - 10 years ago
Aimen, glory to God who gives us His word clearly, the word says instruct a child in the way he should go so that when he grows he will not depart from it,meaning it is the role of the parents to groom children in a God's way which does not lead to wrath for wrath comes as a punishment of sinning before God,its a responsibility as a parent to bring your children to the light of God so that they will be able to live right.before God and also to respect you as a parent........................................ Now helping a mother with a problem with her husband, its your role to pray for your family and husband because the word of God says a husband is made holly by a wife who prays, meaning be ye faithful to God and He will help you and not trying to remedy sin by sin
  • Wayne on 1 John 5 - 10 years ago
How does Baptist theology and vv 18-19 relate? Can one be godly and a sinner at the same time? Can one be a sinning saint? Can one be " dead to sin" and still partake of ungodliness? Just wondering.

Lenetra the only sins you need to ask God forgiveness for are your own each day. I myself ask God when realized. But someone who has sined aren't yours and God isn't going to Judge you for something your dad or mom or anything that happen to others in life. Day by day the book records in heaven of our good works and our bad and if you repent for yours that are bad are erased. In CHRIST Name always

yes there was a rope and also bells attached to him because our God is so Holy the priest couldn't go into the Holy of Holies with sin in him or he would die.If the bell stopped ringing the people would know he's dead, and pull him out by the rope.
