Bless the Lord our God for his patience. i do not think I could be as patient with anyone after showing wonders signs and miracles as he did to the Israelites. I probably would have struck them down after this last round of doubting and started again. Thank and Bless his holy name he has more patience than I.

I think psalm 35 is absolutely the right bible verse for me at this time in my life. I am experiencing a lot of issues on my job from people that is so unhappy to see me keep my employment. They are spreading lies, gossiping about a lot of thing that is untrue. I got upset few days ago and had an argument with one of them and now i am very afraid that i am going to lose my job. Hi Richard. I'd start with a plain reading of the text. This is plainly about Jeremiah's prophecy foretelling the ruin of (ancient) Babylon. I'm not sure how it could be applied to the U.S. today, as that would go way beyond any obvious context found here. Perhaps you'd like to expand on what ideas you've heard? Many thanks
