God gives us new mercies daily. If you have fallen short, he give us grace so that we can repent and be forgiven of our sins. The chapters give us a reminder of what God freed the Israelites when they were in captivity and the covenant that he made them to deliver them to the promised land. It reminds us that there are consequences for not being faithful to God's word.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit was sent to fill those whom God chose to use to carry out his divine plans. In the New Testament Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to dwell in those who believed. In Acts, the He is described as our Father's gift to us. He teaches, convicts, comforts, intercedes and gives us power to become like Jesus.

God has been faithful to me and my households through the ministration of Psalm 91. A Chapter with spirit filled verses that always strengthens us in all our daily commitments. Without the grace of God n His mercy ,we are empty. It takes His wisdom to understand the words of the spirits.

the 18 psalms has always been a tower of strength to me. I always read it whenever i feel lke the world is closing in on me. When am in trouble. when i need devine help and strength.

Hi Sheila. I very much feel like you, that there is so much to scripture it's difficult to know where to begin! However I think putting aside time for Holy Bible study is most worthwhile and you're doing exactly the right thing. I'd like to recommend you start with any of the four gospel books and perhaps a part of the OT that's fairly easy going, like Ecclesiates for example. May God bless you!

If we look at a better understanding of the age of accountability. Some are called to the accountability earlier. When we come sorry for our sins we will be accountable. Sins not Mom catching you stealing cookies from the jar.

I love scripture Kings 2 13:17. When Joash shoots the Arrows of deliverance from Syria. I recieved a vision of Arrows coming from heaven for all of Gods children. But if there was any doubt the arrow fell right from the sky. I saw some arrows floating above some people breakthrough , but God just wants us to press! Thank you Lord for your divine nature!

2 Kings 22 clearly states that there were men who were against God and then there were those who were for God. Those who were against God fought and were at wars with God's people. They despised the Bible because God's word was in it. They got rid of the bibles also. Hatred was a plus for them. Now those who were for God read his words from the bible and believed in Him. They loved Him.

I personally love our sister Wisdom because she gets to the heart. Of the matter and if one can't feel or understand that she's showing the fate of the wicked and the upright one needs to pray for knowledge.
