Isaiah 14:29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent. Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds I will be like the most High. 24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

We have to be steadfast in our faith and in our prayers because in today's world were everything is base on immediate gratification, it is very easy for us to walk away from our prayers without receiving answers. So we have to stand strong without wavering until God's promise comes true in our life.

True joy is only in the Lord Jesus Christ. Material things can bring temporary pleasure, but in the end always lead to suffering. We need to become more and more knowledgable of Jesus's sacrifice and power of resurection for all us sinners to have true joy in Chrust. We need to accept it as a personall priceless gift from someone who consiers each of us worth more than the entire world.

When you say the title, Christ, you are saying, from the Greek word 'Christos', The Anointed One.
When you say the title, Messiah, you are saying, from the Hebrew word 'Mashiyach', The Anointed One.

When you say Christ, you Are saying Messiah. You Are saying Jesus, Yahshua, The Anointed One.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One, the Son of God.
  • Carol on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Eating from the tree of life is what would have made it possible for man to live forever so that is why they were blocked from eating from this tree. The Cheubim were to stand guard to prevent it. If they had not eaten from the tree that taught them good and evil, they would have been allowed to live forever by eating from the tree of life. I wonder if this tree still exits; angels guarding...

Its best to be strong in the Lord so as to be able to complete the christian race. The word of God says in Isiah 40vs31 "Those who wait onthe Lord,Shall renew their strength,They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not get weary,They shall walk and not faint" ,in God i trust,He is my strong tower to which in my weaknesses He becomes stronger and He then relays that strength back to me such that i stand up again.Psalms 20vs 8."They have bowed down and fallen,But we have risen and stand upright" GLORY TO JESUS,WHO STRENGTHENS ME AND THERE AFTER REWARDS ME

God was working behind the scene. Did David allow Joab and his servants to play / fight with the Ishbosheth servants? certainly not. And the impenitent Aber came to David, presented to have a league with the People of Israel and David promptly adhere his request and knowing this will be the God's will, sent Abner with the word of Peace. But Joab destroyed it, so he be angry with him and cursed.
  • Bryan McCloud on Psalms 27 - 10 years ago
Psalm 27:7 gave me hope as God heard my voice when I cried unto Him to restore my relationship with my ex-wife. God had mercy on me, even when I was out their in the world sinning against my ex-wife and Him. When we pray earnestly from our hearts, God will hear and answer our prayers. Thank God for His mercy.

  • Bella Martin on 2 Chronicles 15 - 10 years ago
2 Chronicles 15:7 states "Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded." It is so easy to get captured in the world of busyness. I work 40 hours when college isn't in session, 35 for this year. School and work keeps me busy, distracted and worn out. It's easy to just say "Oh, I've been so busy I'm too 'tired' to do my devotion" or "I don't ever have any free time to do time with God!" Well God has given us 24 hours and yes, work occupies some of it but what about the time you have to go to meals or to just lay in bed before 'actually' sleeping??? We must make time for God and pray for strength because it's easy to be worn out but when you spend time with Him Oh! How refreshed your soul feels.
  • Cher on Acts 19 - 10 years ago
Yes it is another language and should be interpreted. Everything is orderly with Yahweh. He also lets us use a prayer Language for our prayers which is tongues we use privately in church or out loud if we are alone praying.

Robert H. Where does it say "there was a glow about Adam and Eve?" If it were so then all saints would have a glow. I don't see anyone glowing! It says they covered themselves because they knew they were naked. Where does it say they died spiritually?
I don't see the connection between the tree of good and evil and the fig tree that Jesus cursed.
You add to God's word. Proverbs 30:5

Darrell, The tithe is OT, With the New Covenant of Jesus Christ the tithe is abolished.
Read 3 John 1:1-8. V.7 "Ask for nothing." To give a gift is always good.

  • Lucinda Palestrant - 10 years ago
Craig, It is biblical to protect another person. Would you deprive someone of protecting someone with a gun? The verse means; God kills everyone "I kill", when he removes his breath from you, you will die.
