Concerning the "divorced Israelites"..remember what they were BEFORE they were divorced. However, the covenants, OLD AND NEW is STILL with the Israelites, not with EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. Romans 9:3 "3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my BRETHREN, my KINSMEN according to the FLESH:rnrn4 Who are ISRAELITES; TO WHOM PERTAINETH the ADOPTION, and the GLORY, and the COVENANTS, and the giving of the LAW, and the SERVICE of God, and the PROMISES;rnrn5 Whose are the fathers, and OF WHOM as concerning the flesh CHRIST CAME, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen."rnHebrews 8:8" also explains WHO both OLD and NEW covenant is for. See WHO Israel is today( Deuteronomy 28)

Please go read it again. I had to point that out to someone recently, and he was shocked that he never knew/realized that the Samaritans WERE Israelites!! The Northern Kingdom(9 tribes) were called "Outcasts" and "Gentiles" ALSO, because they were living LIKE the actual Gentiles. Proof in in Isaiah 11:12. So please go read it again. Every single thing in the Bible is about the REAL Israelites, every parable, story,etc. And im not talking about the fake Jew-ish people in Israel today, because Christ Himself told us that His people, the Israelites would be "LED INTO CAPTIVITY"(SLAVERY) and that ANOTHER nation will take over Jerusalem "UNTIL the times of the gentiles be fulfilled." She called Jacob HER FATHER, which meant she IS AN ISRAELITE. ..as you said,"Jacob's NAME was changed to "Israel" hence HIS descendants ARE Israelites! She even said "OUR FATHERS worshipped in these mountains....". The Jews(3 tribes) despised the House of Israel(9 tribes) because they went off in sin

God DIVORCED Israel with the promise of remarriage

Christians do not change their nationality. they were divorced Israel from the beginning.

Jesus never told her she was not an Israelite

You cannot change your nationality, simply because you have accepted Christ. No scripture says that. And please read from verse 1 to see WHO the subject matter is..its all about the descendants Jacob(whose name was changed to "Israel.)

Yes, What you have said is all true, because its the word of The Most High. The problem though, is when we read a Book, ANY Book, and is not aware of the subject matter or character in the book, else HOW can we understand the story? In the entire Bible, the subject matter is ISRAEL, and not EVERYONE in the world. Therefore, no matter where you read, youll begin to notice, it was always about the descendants of Jacob(whose name was changed to "Israel"). The new and Old Covenants was with Abraham and his descendants, not with everyone in the world!!

Hello Sonti, I know the feeling. There are some things in scripture that are harder to understand than others. But I think James 1:5 has the answer you're looking for

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." James 1:5 KJV

Also no you DON't have to be baptized. Particularly in regards to Salvation. Salvation is simply believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and his finished work. No works, no religious ceremonies no nothing.

Matthew 21:13 , TODAY some ''Churches'' have books, merchandise, purchasable resources, purchasable Bible studies, expensive retreats, concerts etc. It is very difficult for some people to afford these, therefore leaving several out of the ''family'' events. James 1:27
When someone is in need, they have no choice to be in subjection to usury or do without. Matthew 25:31-46

Hello, it sounds like you're assuming God 'promised' he will protect you from evil 24/7 during your lifetime because you believe in Him. If so, that may not be true. In fact, the Bible says we will have many tribulations and that Satan and his evil will tempt us, but we must resist Him. God is a fair judge who and people who commit evil against us will receive judgment, but it may not happen on our arbitrary time table. Have you resisted satan, prayed for him to flee, and stayed strong in your faith in God? 1 Corinthians 10:13, James 1:12, 1 Peter 5:10, Romans 12:12

Thank you Fred and yes we do indeed need Gods Wisdom not Wordly reasoning and understanding, if not corrected it will lead to acceptance of Sin. Proverbs 4:7 -Proverbs15:2. Galations 3:29 shows those in Christ ARE the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Israel.

Don't assume Paul is saying sin is justified.

For even the Head Apostle, Peter, said Paul's writings are hard to be understood, as other scriptures, 2 Peter 3:16.

Adultery is adultery, fornication is fornication, lasciviousness is lasciviousness.

To commit adultery saying we do it unto Christ is saying, God is confusion.

The FIRST thing to note in Verse 1, is that this epistlebwas NOT addressed to everyone in the world, but to the 12 scattered tribes of Israel, scattered all over the world, through SLAVERY(CAPTIVITY). Now THIS SHOULD give you an idea of WHO these ppl are, because the Real Jews/Israelites were taken out of the land, sent off into CAPTIVITY for their sins, as Christ Himself said in Luke 21:24..proving those living in Israel today, CANT be the real Jews..but rather jew-ish!!
This WHY James said "My Brethren" which literally mean "My BROTHERS" because James is also an Israelite!
If u bypass this first 2 verses without acknowledging this, then u would think this epistle was for everyone. Its not!

we all have to watch our tongues, and be doers of God's Word. or we are fooling ourselves. and we must be doers of gods word, we can't just ignore God's word and go on with our lives. our lives as the world is are not important. Only our Spiritual lives with God in God are important. We must be doers of Gods word. , not live the evil ways of the world today. The ways of the world are just evil, just look around. Look at the way people dress, especially us women. We might just as well be wearing nothing. God wants us to dress modestly. The way we are in this world of today is the devils way. It seems that here Jesus demonstrating the state of mind that could lead to adultery. (compare James 1:14, 15). Even ancient servants of God understood that they should avoid looking at a woman with lust ( Job 31:1). However, the Bible dosen't show that a woman should not look attractive. See Job 42:15. Men can notice lady's beauty and express their admiration, as it is seen in the Song of Solomon. But the motives are the key. David used to watch bathing Bathsheba with immoral intentions ( 2 Samuel 11). As for the married couple, please, consider 1 Corinthians 7:2, 5. Therefore, it seems that no one lusts after their own spouse.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. My mom told me when my dad died Christians help her but family told her the Christians were keeping her from having fun. My mom left the place the Christians provide for us and went to the family but they didn t accept us.

I'm not yet understanding what you think is the contradiction. James 1:13 says God doesn't tempt people to do evil, nor can God be tempted to do evil Himself. The other is Jesus giving an example prayer to deliver us away from the temptation, which is from Satan. Can you please explain in more detail why you think this is a contradiction?

Cheryl there is a lot of Contradiction on the Internet especially with seeking knowlage about God related Realities. The best way to get answers is His way and He tells us we need His Wisdom Prov4:7 none of us were Born with it so we all lack it James 1:5-8 Jesus tells us in Luke 11:9-13 Ask Seek and Knock and we will Receive and than know God's Truth and His Good will for us in All things 1Cor2.

there are many poor who labor hard with very little in return. But Jesus did speak quite a bit on this, Luke 6: 21-22 Luke 12: 32-34, Hebrews 1:3. There are many weak in spirit as well, that need to hear the truth of the Love of God and he sees them right where they are he is with them, and they are not forgotten in his eyes, we too should be more like God he teaches us to be humble, feed them

There will always be the poor. The Lord hates the lazy. He says when we finish with the harvest, let the poor come and glean what they can from the field. This means the poor still have to work. Go to the field. Pick the spoils. Pound the wheat to flour. Bake the bread. Slothfulness is a sin.
