    DALE E STAHLBERG,

From the first Adam, all have sinned Romans 5:12. Even without the law we have sinned, there are people in this world that do much evil and there are people in this world that do much good and neither have never seen a bible or heard of Jesus. From the first Adam, not only death was passed, every person is born with the knowledge of good and evil, it is written in our conscience. With or without the knowledge of the law, one may choose to either do evil or do good.

We see in Romans 2:12-15, read the entire chapter. Jesus first came almost 2000 years ago, the Messiah for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then by the grace of God, the gospel of Jesus was given to all the other nations. Millions of people lived and died before He first came, are they doomed to eternal death? Millions since have never heard of Him, are they doomed?

What we should contemplate, will we that have heard the gospel of Jesus be held to a higher standard of judgment? We see when Jesus sent the disciples out to tell people the kingdom of heaven is at hand, what it would be like if they rejected it. Matthew 10:14-15.

Many see the great white throne judgment is only for the lost, but in my understanding, scripture does not support that. We have Daniel 12:2 John 5:28-29 Matthew 25:31-46, and more, and the parables. After the one thousand years, Revelation 20:11-15. All the rest of the dead small and great, raised from the dead, they will be judged out of the books and one of these books is the book of life, and whoever was not found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. Would the book of life be needed if all were lost? God is a just God and we can trust in His word.

This is my understanding, may others have another view.

    God bless,

    RLW

Very interesting, I've never really noticed that, as soon as I thought about what you said: scripture came to mind instantly.

Matthew 25:31-46, I really didn't notice it before so I didn't note if HE always did. I will be more aware of it now.

I'm wondering if HE did that because unlike others HE was the Son of GOD & man; born of woman. Maybe even to emphasize the power HE had, was, is & is to come. If HE had simply said "when I come back._._." then people might have argued more with HIM about impossibilities, instead of listening to HIM, also they may have thought of HIM only as fleshly being. Just a thought

It does NOT say a woman isn't allowed to wear pants. Deuteronomy 22:5, Deuteronomy 12:32

    Remember John 3:16, Matthew 25:31-46,

it's talking about dressing to resemblance appearance as opposite sex.

At about 5 or 6 years old, I was told by a neighbor man, I should wear a dress, I wore a dress & the "monster" raped me both ways. I went unconscious more than once & was held by a heavenly being after I asked to die. The heavenly being comforted me he was wearing a white robe. I had a conversation as an adult outside of my young self, I guess in the heaven. Then I was back.

Later I was in a church Sunday school that I was made to wear a dress, (by step mother) the boys would lay on the floor to see my undergarments. It was emotionally painful & I would cry not to wear a dress. Even as a young adult men have been dishonorable when I wear shirts or dresses. I could use it for my gain!! However I rarely wear s dress & when I do, heads turn. I find it much more modest to wear pants. The husbands at the churches, stores etc don't stare as much when I wear pants.

Pants aren't what disqualify someone from heaven.

    Thank you, S Spencer,

Brother, on part one, this is something I will have to study more, I agree with what you are saying but it seems empty, if you know what I mean. Because the first Adam, before he sinned is unlike any mortal man since he sinned, his body was not born in corruption like ours, sin was not in him. We know man cannot see Gods face and live, Exodus 33:20-23, until the new heaven and new earth, Revelation 22:3-4 in our glorified bodies.

Going by Exodus no man can see God's face, so is that after sin or does that include the first Adam? If so, how did God communicate with Adam? He communicates with us through His Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus that dwells in us like you said by the blood of Christ shed on the cross. We see that even after they were cast out of the garden they were still in the presence of God because Cain was the first to be driven from the presence of God, Genesis 4:13-16.

Are the cherubim and flaming swords a shadow of the ark where God sits between the cherubim? Is that why they were in the presence of God?

I feel the first Adam and the last Adam Jesus Christ is all part of Gods plan that was before this world and I feel it involves Satan because this plan, that was before this world, included the lake of fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matthew 25:4. However God communed with the first Adam he was part of this plan that Satan could not see, up to the crucifying of the last Adam, the only begotten Son, Satan was blind to this because he did not try to stop it. Like what He tried to do with Job he thought he could get Job to curse God to His face, which he also failed.

The questions here is more for me to study not to you.

When you commit suicide, YOU prevent the plans God had for your life, from ever happening.

IF you received Jesus as your Savior and Lord as it says in John chapter 3,

Jesus gave you the Holy Spirit to be your HELPER; and to COMFORT YOU, TEACH YOU about Jesus.

    3. Respond: Believe, Repent, Confess, Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior

To be saved, we must believe that Jesus is Lord and believe that He died for our sins. This confession acknowledges before God that we are unable to attain righteousness on our own and that we accept His plan for our lives.

    PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH SINCERITY

"Dear God, I believe in you and that your Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord. I believe in His sacrifice for my sins and His resurrection from the dead. I repent and ask forgiveness for my sins and I'm deciding now to follow you. Please, come into my life through the gift of your Holy Spirit. It is in the Lord Jesus' name that I ask and receive, Amen."

    Be baptized

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

    PRAY:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

My salvation testimony: I'm just going to tell the part you are interested in. I was into the Occult/Astrology for years. I wasn't saved in my heart anymore. My friend says "the Bible says this is wrong! and stomps out. All I can hear is the echo of her words. 1 Timothy 3:5

Jesus sent two visions to me. Revelation 1:18.

I saw him on a white horse. He stared right thru me and he wasn't smiling.

I read for an hour from the Bible about astrologers. It has a DEATH PENALTY. I laid my head on the Bible and said I deserve to die. Then I saw HELL in the 2nd vision. It is dense twisted roots, you can't move. It's dark, no light. Everything screams!

    Luke 16:19-31, Matthew 23:33

    Matthew 25:41-46

    Mark 9:43

Satan is real. He wants us dead, to hurt Jesus.

Don't go there. They don't sleep. Just scream!
  • Ronald L Whittemore - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
    Shellon Hooten,

Revelation is hard, for one, it is not in chronological order, and not all has been revealed to us. Pray and keep in mind there are answers we may never be given. At this time there have been 3.5 years of tribulation by Satan, the beast, the false prophet, and the great whore Babylon, and Babylon was just destroyed by the ten kings/countries of the beast. ( Revelation 17, 18).

These same ten kings/kingdoms/countries will make war with Jesus, ( Revelation 17:14). They were rejoicing in heaven and "his wife hath made herself ready" and "Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb" ( Revelation 19:1-10).

In ( Revelation 19:11-21) we see Jesus coming with his armies, ( Matthew 25:31) that were in heaven, and the call to the fowls to gather to the supper of the great God. ( Ezekiel 39: 17-20) There are more scriptures on the coming of Jesus, ( Matthew 24: 29-31) ( Mark 13:24-27) ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17), and more. The beast and false prophet are cast into the lake of fire and the remnant of the armies are destroyed by the sword proceeding out of the mouth of Jesus. The power of His word wiped them out.

Then in Revelation 20, Satan is locked in the bottomless pit, to be there for one thousand years, and Jesus sets up His Kingdom and the camp of the saints. So scripture tells us when Jesus returns with all His holy angels/armies, He sends angels to gather His elect. Who are in this first resurrection? The description of them is in ( Revelation 20:4). Are they all that will be saved? Are they the most loyal elect that is given this honor? The key is the white throne judgment, is it only for the lost as taught? Why is the book of life opened ( Revelation 20:12)? Should we not consider ( Matthew 25:31-46) ( John 5:28-29) ( Acts 24:15). Do we overlook ( Revelation 20:15)?

I know this does not answer your question, if it can be answered, but may it inspire study.

    God bless,

    RLW

Isaac I've read what you stated the only comment I have is you've made up your mind on how you interpret what you read. That being said no matter what anyone else shares you'll be able to disprove it no matter what your shown. There's an old saying a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

It's funny how Genesis doesn't say that Eve was tempted by Satan . Something as important as that .

If you want every one to have some idea what you are talking about please explain YEC and OEC , or don't use those terms and type out exactly what you mean please , thank you .
  • Issac H Bourne Jr - In Reply on Matthew 25 - 4 years ago
Okay, I understand. This is a Old Earth Creation site. Anything proving YEC gets deleted. Which means any discussion here is 100% one sided. So Matt can look right and me wrong because I cannot answer with good answers without it being deleted. I read your rules, and I did not break ant worse then Matt did. Which makes me think Matts the mod here. Am I right?

If this forum like area is where people truly search for truth. Then you allow even what you disagree with so it can be worked out. I have no problem with *biblical correction*. I actually like biblical correction using the kjv only. But deleting people's responses because you disagree with their viewpoint proves nothing.

In fact I challenge you to prove me wrong using the Bible. And because I like truth more than looking right all the time, I have no problem admitting it and apologizing if I am wrong. Because to find truth, real truth, you have to swallow your pride and become humble enough to admit being wrong and accept correction. Deleting responses is telling me that you think you are always right, and correction cannot be warranted. And anyone who dares to disagree is wrong. right?

Did I not use the Bible to prove what I said? Did you not ignore what I said and when I pointed that out deleted it? Prove me wrong on anything I have posted and I have zero problem making a public apology. Could you do that? Then the truth you are looking for you'll never find if you cannot.
  • Issac H Bourne Jr - In Reply on Matthew 25 - 4 years ago
If you want to believe in Old Earth Creation, and the Evolution deep timeline that makes OEC work. Then believing this refers to the *condition* of the earth is what you have to stick to. And the reason I say this is because you totally ignored what I said. That Form was referring to man, and the earth was void aka empty until man was created.
  • Matt - In Reply on Matthew 25 - 4 years ago
Gen 1:2 says the earth was without form, and void. You're here saying it has nothing to do with the earth. But the verse specifically says it's the earth. What's wrong with believing what the Bible says? There's no conflict, no misunderstanding on my end. But someone saying it doesn't mean what it says makes me suspicious.
  • Issac H Bourne Jr on Matthew 25 - 4 years ago
Hi, I run a ministry online that defends literal creation aka YEC. Probably the biggest misunderstanding about creation is the form and void aka the supposed condition of the earth. What if I told you that the form and void issue had zero to do with the condition of the earth?

There are 3 ways God created aka a trinity.

    1) Spoken word creation, where God speaks and things appear or happen.

    2) Bring forth creation. Where God commands what already has been created to bring forth more life.

    3) Formed creation. Man was the only life formed by God and the breathe of life made man a living souls.

So when the Bible says the earth was without form (man) and was void (empty until man was created). God was stating the whole purpose of creation, not the condition of the earth. Forwhy create anything without form?
  • Adam - In Reply - 4 years ago
    It uses the word "destruction."

I don't know if you believe in hell or not. Most Christians do, because the Bible warns us about hell. So, if you believe in hell, the next question is how long does it last? Instant destruction/death, medium term death, long term, or eternity? The Bible uses different synonyms, examples, parables, etc to describe hell. For example, if you keep reading in Matthew 7 verse 19 it calls it a 'fire'. Matthew 8:12 says there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mark 9:48 says the worm never dies and fire unquenched. 2 Thessalonians 1:9 says "everlasting destruction." I interpret this is not short. Revelation 20:10 also suggests it's not short in duration. Jude 1:7 - uses the word "eternal fire." Matthew 25:46, Matthew 25:41. These are only a handful of examples and I think there are more suggesting that hell is not an instant death. If you find just as many verses saying hell is instant and you die instantly, please share them. I also don't believe the word death or destruction automatically means it's instant. It can happen over a longer period of time. For example Adam and ate the fruit and was condemned to death, but lived 930 years. He became mortal and died just like God said and it wasn't instant, but the death was slow. Is it out of the question to consider the same could be true for hell, especially since many verses say it's eternal?

People will likely interpret the duration differently and we probably won't know for sure until the end. But because of the scripture, the context, that hell is intended to be a punishment for those who disobeyed, I do not believe it is an instant death. I think people will be very sorry and deeply regret they disrespected God and did not take Him seriously and I believe God will fairly see those who chose evil are punished. God bless.

I'm not refusing anything. Jesus doesn't know the time of the end. Only the Father knows.

I'm a street preacher. I just get people ready to go__period.

I watch for the signs, that happen on this earth; in these political systems; plagues and pandemics on all continents; changes in money systems.

Advancements or increased "labor pains". We all have our part to doas the BODY OF CHRIST.

    I think Matthew 16:1-4; 12:39-42; Jonah 3:1-4

We are all parts of the Body of Christ, but each body part is not identical. The Holy Spirit gives as He wills.

Not everyone that comes in here can understand the book of Revelation. It corresponds to other events on earth, and in the heavens.

Like right now the Arab kingdoms are uniting; and with China and Russia.

    MATTHEW 25: 1-13 the 10 Virgins

I do not believe that Jesus will suffer His Bride to be killed. I believe we will see the beginning of the Trib. and warn people. A great harvest. I think Noah labored on the Ark 6 days a week and preached in the city. When the Ark was ready, GOD SHUT THE DOOR. The door was massive and had to be secured outside.

Can any of us conquer the fear of man, and get this message we know so well, and preach so well here, and take it to people who are perishing, "out there".

People watch the news every day (YouTube or tv) so there is an awareness of the signs. We just need to open up WHERE this is all leading to. All this global warming hype from the Government, IS 2 PETER 3:10-12. The earth is warming, and we are being warned. Isaiah 51:6

You do your task, and I am doing mine. I'm looking up every day and night for Jesus's appearing in the clouds. I'm going with Him no matter what: pre, mid, whenever it happens. I want to be doing what He asks: harvesting, doing good. Matthew 25: 31-46

Please disregard my first sentence as I see you said those in Christ will go there. I do wonder how people will go to heaven or hell before the day of judgment though, as 2 Corinthians 5:10 indicates ALL will face judgment and Rev 20:11-15 and Matthew 25:31-46 suggest that everyone as a big group will be judged at the same time. I don't see how that can happen if people are either judged as they die and go to heaven/hell or if they aren't judged at all.
