Lord we come before you for this great grief that this gentleman has. Lord you said where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them. In agreement we pray for your comfort, strength, grace and peace upon him. My sincere condolences on your loss as well & sorry to hear you are facing some difficulties. You are NOT alone.. we each have gone through difficulties & at times it may seem that the Lord is distant ..or even just not around, but let me assure you He IS! One of my most favorite Bible verses is Zephaniah 3:17 "The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing." Even while you're reading this, He is singing over YOU!!

To Gregory, I feel like that all the time, and even feel that the church let me down. Hardly anybody showed support or compassion for me, but my strength came from God himself. I had my children taken away from me, I was homeless twice, after I came off the street to heal, I got really sick and was about to die, O but God. Even as I write this I am getting a personal inventory. I was about to die in the presence of the proud and no good female physician who saw me in the shell of my body. All I can see was her degrading me as a black human being. With all my life I got the hell up with the strength I had as a mother and vomited one last time and told her. 'Don't you ever mishandel me lime that again! She grabbed my tiny wrist and told me to 'Get Up! All I can think about was his I was treated when I was married and know what to expect from the public. The spirit of suicide was there too! It was not me at all. Look God wants you in a place where he can minister to you. It would not be his glory for you to allow the devil to push you to that point. What would your wife want? Yeah people give you scriptures but I give you life through my story. I am here by the grace of God and still get attacked! Thus day my only boys my joys do not even speak to me so God knows your pain. He bird all of your griefs and sorrows and was a man full of them. Jesus is still the answer in your frustration. And you, have to do a ridiculous thing by thanking him in your frustration which is humility of flesh. Have you read the book of job? At the end God rewarded him family and the whole nine! He got new daughters home and everything and he didn't give up! Your heaviness is so hard to carry, but Jesus is a heavy load barer. You can give the enemy a black eye. I am still in this thing almost 14 years! The whore took my kids, I made destitute and unrecognizable, thrown in the street by judges. It was not fair....I still hurt. Doors close in my face all the time, people play with income! When

don't look at the colour , look at the texture . WOOL ! , wooly hair , curly hair , nappy hair , Afro hair .

if you look today , most people with that hair are ? , so called black people & islanders right ?

Brass is the colour of a gold coin & the furnace is like a chimney .

if you put a pizza in the furnace and bring it out half time what colour is it ? golden-ish Brown-ish right & if you leave the pizza in the furnace overtime and bring it out afterwards , what colour is it then ? Black !

So what does this tell you ? because from reading , researching and connecting the dots it told me he is a dark skin man with very wooly hair & not a white man with straight hair and brown eyes , like they say today .

Hello Gregory, I literally feel your pain, and have asked these same questions after my husband of 26 years passed away 5 months ago. The reality of the fact that life is going on without them is starting to set in. If we (you) have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ's payment for our sins ( John 3:16) and have been born again into the family of God, then we can claim and stand upon the precious promises of God given in His Word. He will never leave us nor forsake us, and promised to send us a "Comforter" which is the Holy Spirit. He strengthens our faith and reminds us of the Blessed Hope we have through Christ. The Blessed Hope is that this world is not our home, and that the Lord will come back, just as He said He would. This Blessed Hope and His truly AMAZING Grace is what has helped me hold myself and my family together. This verse has helped me tremendously :

II Corinthians 12:9

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

It is when we are weak that we can feel His perfect strength to help us. Just like his grace, we receive it when we need it. Not a moment too soon, and NEVER late, but right on time. He doesn't give us tomorrows grace today. I have learned more about the faithfulness of God in the last 6 months than in the 40 years that I have been a child of God. Draw closer (nigh) to God and he will draw closer to you. Talk to Him, bear your soul to Him. Read your Bible and look for His answers to you. Cling to every promise, count every blessing, continue your walk with the Lord. If you attend a good KJV Bible preaching church, go everytime you can. The Lord has amazed me with messages that our Pastor gives that are exactly what I needed when I needed it. Much love and prayers as you work though your loss...

there is dozens of scriptures that say, god does everything for his name; we are the beneficiaries of his works; for his name.

When God told Noah to build an ark and it rained for 40 days and nights to flood the world, God made a rainbow to show Noah his promise not to flood the world again. My question is was that rainbow truly the first rainbow to ever be seen? If so, how is that possible when science can explain why there are rainbows? Did that science not exists at that time until God invented it?

how can modern day women better understand there place in gods sight without them feeling that they have been left out , Some in my opinion act as if the term man does include women and humans just because some places in the Bible it may just say man, and should men just have women bring the way the world is changing into the church worship ie. breaking through the good old boys jobs of corp. Hi Richard. When I need a good washing on the Word: I actually read Proverbs to look for my weak ie Being wise and avoiding snares.

Jobs friends sounded reasonable, but at the end they were corrected by God.

To know to do something and then not do it. I don't think Jesus cared for that.

Like Paul, I got knocked off my high horse, and saw Truth standing in front of me. Let us all remember our beginnings, when we didn't know much at all.

These days are bad even since me refirming attending church praying more everyday my life become worse I just feel not God is answered my prayers and I don't want to go on living . I want go home I am tired It is not a pleasure living . I have lost my faith with no hope I am sorry I am bringing this but I hope you might could help

You stated a long list of sins that can be committed.....the list is probably much longer....and I do understand your point. You make a good point, and I also do believe that any sin committed can be attributed to one of the 10 Commandments in "one form or fashion".

I think most christians will agree our goal is to live as sin free as possible, but when we fail... we need to ask for forgiveness and try a little harder. God surely knows if we are trying or not.

In summary, I will say that disregarding any of the 10 Commandments will most surely be problematic for many.

Many if not most Christians today just throw the 4th Commandment in the trash....in my opinion not a good way to start a successful journey to heaven.

Why does Jesus call himself the Son of man at times and not the Son of God always ?

Yes surely missionaries are apostles, but I am referring to the office of an apostle not the definition of apostle.

5 Fold to start the church read your scriptures.

3 fold now the office of prophets and apostles is found today in THE WORD OF GOD.

The WORD is the foundation or should be the foundation for any true church

If you feel you need to here from some modern day prophet or apostle you are mistaken.

We now have a complete bible not letters here and there

This is what leads to not being TOSSED by every wind of DOCTRINE

The BIBLE is the STANDARD

Perhaps you should stop reading so many other books and just stick to scripture

Perhaps you will than be able to RIGHTLY divide the WORD of TRUTH

No other documents are needed just the bible

Line upon line precept upon precept

If you rely on some other person to lead you to the truth you are greatly mistaken

What does FOUNDATION mean to you?

These were special messengers with a divine calling.

God bless to all first of all, I have seen a lot of discussion on the commandment this is my view, Yes we we are commanded to follow obey and let these commandments be the guidance of our lives, and inm sure we all wake up when he wakes to follow each and everyone but as we see in the bible it also a great large list too very wide of what not to do, but do we understand that God has already let us know and told us in his word, we were conceived in sin, and saved by the shedding of his blood, but yet we are still sinners, we wrestle against the flesh inside of us each day, He already knows we can not follow each commandment each and every day, God know we will fall and fail on daily bases, it is why he says come to him to confess our sins, sincerely ask for repentance and forgiveness. Now we all know this does not mean go on keep sinning because God will forgive us, no indeed!!! that would be disastrous and dangerous to our salvation to do that. I believe God means and teaches us in the bible each day, rise up and do your very best to not sin, have an eye on on the enemy, be able to identify him, don"t stay focused on him keep your eye, your mind, your heart stayed on the Father, so we may use the tools the Lord has given us to overcome him and the sinful life. God yet again, says there is no one without sin no not one. We must remember to discuss the bible and all his truth with love and kindness, let's fall into the role of judgement toward each other, if some ones says something we don"t agree we must say we don't agree, or maybe say nothing and pray for the other person so that they may find the truth, and lovingly and move on share the good news we know, let's be careful in judging others how they were taught where they were taught, leave judgment and correcting up to our Father God for he he knows how to teach and correct us. A Christian who genuinely follows Jesus can have assurance of salvation, but no one is technically saved until after they are judged on Judgment Day. Those who believe the opposite have a lot of hurdles to overcome and rationalize, like why someone would go to heaven or hell before they are even judged, or why people would go to heaven, only to come down to earth to re-enter their old bodies, only to meet Jesus in the air and go back to heaven- all before judgment apparently.

Instead, people will more likely die and be 'asleep' until Christ comes, then will rise and ascend to a place of judgment. Some believe in a waiting place like purgatory, but I think there's ample scriptural evidence that says we'll just be asleep. Even if a thousand years passes, to the person sleeping it will likely only seem like only a second has passed before you wake and be judged.

Why wouldn't God call women to preach? God shows no partiality ( Romans 2:11) and can use anybody to do His will ( 1 Corinthians 1:27). Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Isaiah's wife, and Anna were given the authority to speak to the people on the behalf of God and thus preached the Word of God. Go back and read Romans 16:1-15 about the 10 women who where in ministry who held leadership positions.

You are so right brother dan , its not complicated ,we all know the standard that Christ set for us to follow ,things only get complicated if we find ourselves in situations that as Christians we shouldnt have allowed ourselves to get sucked into in the first place , keep our own lives as simple as we possibly can and dont look for problems where there arent any , if we are thoroughly grounded in our faith ,if we trust in Gods love and mercy and if we are trying every day to keep the life and example of Christ before us ,things are very simple ,always do the right thing ,even if it results in ourselves being the loser its worth it ,know when to argue and when to just leave people to their own ego's ,Jesus knew it was pointless talking to some people ,so should we .

Please know that the Bible from Romans- Jude is written to the Brethren. It is to the people and churches that came from the book of Acts who were water baptized in Jesus Christ name or in the name of the Lord (Jesus is his name) & they were filled w the Holy Ghost as the Spirit gave utterance. Jesus gave the keys of the kingdom of heaven to Peter. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost". It is for everyone. Go to the book of Acts & receive salvation ( Acts 2:38) & then all may continue on in the chapters from Romans thru Jude. The epistles (letters) were written to the already saved.

It's amazing, the Christian world ignores Acts 2, especially the thirty eighth verse.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." This verse is self explanatory!! Repent, be baptized in Jesus name for the REMISSION OF YOUR SINS and you (everybody) will receive the Holy Ghost.So why does most of the Christian world ignore Acts 2:38? This is the instructions to obtain salvation.The Church began on that day, the day of Pentecost.THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH began on that day in Acts, which is the only church Jesus died and bled for! Most of the Christian world seems to admit repentance is necessary for salvation. But they seem to believe baptism is ONLY symbolic and has no real impact on salvation. Yes baptism is symbolic, just as Jesus is the symbolic sacrificial lamb who was slain on Calvary for our sins!! Paul explains the importance of baptism in Romans chapter 6. Baptism is necessary for salvation.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him (Jesus) by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk--- in newness of life.What is that

"newness of life"? Its remission of sins! When our sins are remitted, they are gone and forgiven. But their our sins are only remitted if baptism is done in Jesus name after repentance. And Paul explains why baptism is necessary in Romans 6.

This is exactly what he told Israel. If they would have keep his commandments they would have remained in a right relationship with God. They would not have needed a NEW COVENANT. Since keeping God's commandments is so simple and easy; WHY NOT JUST DO IT and you will not need the NEW COVENANT; But, history proves this effort fails one hundred percent.

Good post Adam. Our righteousness is to exceed those who tried to follow the whole law of Moses. Having the Holy Spirit to guide, and teach, us the right way. Which is after Jesus Christ our Lord. The way, the truth, and the life!
