I tried searching just the word flesh on multiple search engines and the verse does not show up , what are they hiding ? I guess you have to go to a hard copy to get honest answers .

Think about it God says he has no flesh , and he changes not ever . That's something to consider .

Hi James, the 'four horns' are actually horns that had to be placed at the corners of the altar and is not a unit of measurement. If you would like to see a 'depiction' of the altar of the burnt offering, just google those words & some pictures should come up. One cannot say whether the original altar resembled the ones portrayed, but it should give you an idea of the size & of course, the horns. And verse 20 tells us that the blood of the animals had to be sprinkled on specific parts of the altar, including on the horns.

It simply means, 'to give' or 'to bestow'. The tribute money (or, tax) had Caesar's image on it which could be concluded that the money was produced by the Roman government & was lawful to be used accordingly, whether for the purposes of trade or for paying one's dues.

The verse that says that he is taken out of the way is the anti christ him self is taken out by the Lord Jesus coming , and the kingdom set up . The anti christ will attempt to

Make war with the Lord !

Evil is deluded to the max Even til it's last day . Even so come Lord Jesus !

    S. Spencer,

Jesus comes "like a thief" at the sixth trumpet too. 1 Thessalonians 5:2

    Joel 2:11

    "His" northern army defeats Babylon.

It is God with antichrist's army who lays Jacob's land desolate...

Revelation 16:15 has a magical feel to it as if it were mirroring another time stamp, which it is.

    Hi Mary Ann.

We live in a world where the is various sin and partiality is just one of them. To ask why is it partiality exist in a fallen world where sin has no boundaries, you would have to ask why do men kill, steal, lie, commit fornication, abortion, same sex marriage, ECT.. If we get our answer from the bible you will find the answer is "SIN" and if you did one you have done them all, no matter what color you are!

So the question should be why do anyone treat anyone bad.

Or why do white people treat white people bad?

Or why do black people treat black people bad? The same thing goes for any nationality. This is a evil and dark world we live in, and we all have fallen short of Gods commandments,

THERE IS A SIN PROBLEM!! We go to the world for a solution when we should go to the Lord and the word!

Jesus is calling people out of the world into his glorious light, There is no where in the bible where it says the Lord is coming back to make a better world, he is coming back to judge the world and destroy it and create a new Heaven and Earth. Man has never been able to solve mans sin problem.

Lets seek the Lord with all our hearts and let him fill us with his spirit.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2.

    God bless you.

"The falling away" occurs at the sixth trumpet, "day of the Lord", and specifically, "the abomination of desolation". Jesus comes like a thief in the night to lay the land desolate. Many will be disappointed.

    It simply means to pause.
  • Rob on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 5 years ago
    Verse 3

Let no man deceive you by any means : for that day shall not come , except there come a falling away first , and the man of sin be revealed , the son of perdition.

Just look at society today and governments, they are fallen and getting worse .

Deception is at an all time high . No place exempt.

I ask a question " what church or organization did Noah attend ?

It's to get like the days of Noah according to Jesus , so it's learning to go it pretty much alone . Walking with God is possible in the worst of times .

Don't let the crowd fool you .

Since the verses before and after verse 15 (vss 13-17) of Ezekiel 43 (KJV Bible) are talking about measurements of the altar what is "four horns." talking about? I can't find a Biblical measure called a "horn".

Chapt is simply an older spelling for chapped. See how your lips 'chap' and crack up when dry. The ground was parched and cracks appeared on the chapped, dry ground.

I know God had many fiery trials and he suffered and so will we. It's very painful living in a world where there is so much hate. Knowing that we're only here for a little while. We want to live comfortable. Why are we as Black People feel as if we don't belong? God created us just as he created other race of people. My Mom and Dad taught us to Love everybody and treat everyone with dignity and respect. I teach my kids the same. Why are we treated so bad as a people of color? This is a God created world. God Loves us all the same. God is Love.

    Hi Kate,

    God bless you,

    Keep spreading the Gospel,

I pray the Lord will come "but at his appointed time" but for many of my love ones and friends I'm glad he's patient and taking his time!!

The Lord came the first time with salvation,

Next he will comes in the clouds for his Church,

And then he comes to earth in Judgement.

Now is the time for salvation!!

2 Peter 3:9. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is LONGSUFFERING TO US-WARD, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH! but that all should come to repentance.

This verse means he's tarrying giving time to repent before he comes,

We or no one else should wish for his coming for the unsaved.

Amos 5:18 (KJV) Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Let's minister to all we can while it's still day.

    God bless you.

I was 4 yrs old when God began showing me what he was like. We can glean the same tender instruction now, through the Holy Spirit. If we seek Him, he will come to us. It's a matter of desire within us. The world crowds in, often, and interrupts us. I've been a single most of my life. Saved at at age 34. Often in gridlocked traffic I can draw close to God and listen to counsel and wisdom. Speak peace over traffic around me. We can use the authority of Christ to bring Him into any situation we care about. If we don't care, we should draw closer to God.

Even as a child, I found God to be most precious and desirable as a friend. I didn't know who he was; but I heard Him. He'd teach me through His creation. He'd bring the most unusual learned people into my path to reveal secrets of rocks, etc. I think this is how Heaven is going to be. All the angst of the world will be gone. We'll be able to hear Fathers revealed wisdom.

We witness meanness and pure evil around us every day. We're called to be peacemakers. Our words and prayers can effect change. We have to learn from scripture how it works. WHO it is that stands alongside of us as we pray. Always pray the known Will of God. Avoid wordy books. Get our info from the Lords Bible.

Satan knows the Bible too, and tries to use it against us in the court of Heaven. We have the best lawyer: Jesus!

Jesus used scripture to shut the devil down. That is what works. Knowing our authority in Jesus. If we spend our time doing the Do's; we can avoid the snares and traps of satan. Be quick to Repent. We make mistakes. How fast we are to make adjustments is sensitivity to the Holy Spirits leading of us.

We can all have a closer walk with Jesus if we will follow in his shoe prints. I tear through the Bible often in search of: HOW did Jesus do this? He's the son of God. We cannot fail, if we follow His examples. One being: he did not skimp on prayer time. He was actively communicating with his Father, every day.

Amen. I also have 2 best friends who are atheists, and I really want them to believe again but it is hard. Nevertheless I won't stop spreading the gospel of Jesus and I will keep trying to let them believe again before Jesus comes.

  • Chris - In Reply on Nehemiah 3 - 5 years ago
Eric, it was generally accepted that Ezra arrived at Jerusalem before Nehemiah, though in the late 19th Century AD, there was a proposal that it was Nehemiah who came first, then Ezra. This was based on the fact that it was King Artaxerxes II ruling & not Artaxerxes I ( Ezra 7:7,8).

However, I understand that Jews don't accept that & it was Ezra who came first under Artaxerxes I. As you probably know, both the Books of Ezra & Nehemiah were originally read as one book in Hebrew; after Zerubbabel came first (under Cyrus), the Temple building had stopped because of opposition. Then under Darius, the temple work restarted ( Ezra 5:2) & finally completed ( Ezra 6:15). Then Ezra came with the next migration of the exiles & after him, Nehemiah came (for the building of the wall) with the third return of the exiles. So this timeline seems to fit well as Ezra, as priest, would have continued to serve with the other priests & Levites at the temple while Nehemiah attended to rebuilding the wall surrounding the city.

One lesson Jesus may be teaching is patience for others that don't see the details as clearly as you. Those whom Christ has called sometimes have a distorted view of Christ and others, but be patient with them don't discount them God is not through with them. Christ is still working with them. His work is not finished yet. Pray for them that God's mercy and grace lead them to repentance by faith and they would see the wonderful riches of God's kingdom. That they would experience the fullness of a Christlike life.

look up "I am the righeousness of God in Jesus Christ" in the KJV window, main page. All goodness and righteousness is is of Christ, never of our own goodness. Even the good things Paul did he counted as loss in order to gain the righteousness that was his through Jesus Christ...... Your past is wiped clean, in Him. As you believe, God looks upon you and sees his Son, not your failures. I have made countless mistakes in my life, and every time I was aware of it, the realization of God's mercy melted me, and made me fall in love with my Lord even more..... Blessings to you Aaron, I had to lose my entire family at one point, and I became willing for that if it needed to be, but it is all being restored in Him......

    Sam,

You are so right. God is Love. By being loving and being kind to others, we represent Jesus the best way possible.

The visible world is where we stand and love others, inside of.

The invisible world must be discerned. We need to be alert. Good, evil; angels and demonic are all in the same landscape.

Jesus said he has overcome the world. We are overcomers through His life. And we are wise children, mild as doves; just like Our Savior is.

    Peace be upon us. Mishael.

Blessed Mother's Day upon everyone who nurtures a child in their life.
