Kelsey Gonzalez, I am also married, and when I find myself in situations like this, and when I converse or try to have him see another way, If it is making the situation worse. We are to remember that God loves us both, you and your husband. So to try and turn this around for help who should we go to? also How? Well someone who was teaching and guiding me in the recent past and past mentioned to me that God is the best counselor,so if we "ask" God to intervene in a specific way for us instead of more approaching ourselves , he can step in and help. God does say ask and you will receive. In his time of course. You do not have to explain the situation to God, for he already knows the situation and you do not want to come across as judging because he loves you both. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I know looking back on this has really helped us as individuals or as a couple. I truly hope this helps you. God Bless, and blessings to you both as individuals, and as a couple. Have a great day! :)

Recently I mentioned to Chris that I became interested in our local dam when it nearly failed. The event itself where we had to evacuate in 15 minutes to higher land was unreal and seemed impossible thinking of thousands fleeing ahead of us. We had one you g son that was about seven miles away that evening at a safer location than our home. We felt to stay home and pray especially since the one son was nearby but not with us. We called or heard from many friends and family and they all also extended prayers in our behalf. I spoke to my son on the phone how important it was for Him to carry on as a Christian if we were to lose our lives that night. The family that night at our home prayed that the overflow area of the dam would hold and that there would be more time for us to make decisions as a whole family the next day. We went to bed. I at least slept well. No loss of life occurred that night or the immediate following days. Our prayer was answered and we still live in the same home though we have been challenged with the events of the the two huge fires in our area where there was loss of life.

The point of this writing, although I was thankful to God in the saving grace, I also wanted like many to understand how this failure came to be and how it would be resolved. Here, although not very resistant but not completely peaceful I watched and participated in online discussion and contributed information that I could see with my own eyes since I was so close to the accident. Looking back now, I believe this was outside of God's Will in my life and as His child that would be giving new life to my old nature which I believe I can by God's grace call sin. I had long ago moved on from participating in discussions back into normal Christian life but I think now that I and the Lord, want to call my actions back then sin. I repent now, because I believe and want to be a nonresistant lamb by His still waters and pasture.

Howdy again from a while ago. I did not have enough "characters" to mention this before.

Re: the KJV translation, have you found the absolute Truth, the obscure Old Testament verse in which God makes it clear He wants those that will be True to Him to indeed use His KJV?! I have seen discussions from writers for years with all the reasons/arguments to accept and use the KJV only...and those are all well and good...accurate as far as I know...BUT!...ONE VERSE IS ALL that is EVER NEEDED!!

12 or 13 years ago I was going through a deep & detailed study of the O.T. ...and I HIT IT ONE DAY!! The moment I read it, I KNEW!! God has it right there in an otherwise obscure OT verse that says to use His KJV...and that all others should be shunned. So, I went to Bible book stores in a few different cities in my travels over the next year or two; and to secular book stores also, as in them I found they even carry more versions and publishers than Bible/Christian book stores do. In all this time I found about a dozen-and-a-half other versions...and all were wrong... none had it like the KJV.

Then, knowing there were more than just those roughly 18, I spent a good bit of time finding all I could on-line, which came to a total of 35 more, now equaling 53 non-KJV's. So that was a total of 54...and all the other 53 are God-taught to be, at best, shunned or very, very cautiously used - and that is only maybe 2 or 3 of them - while all else are versions from which a person CANNOT EVEN BE SAVED.

Now, no personal criticism intended, Chris, but I would imagine I am correct when I say that, until I also show you that AWESOME, AWESOME, verse - which I later realized IS ALSO ANOTHER ONE THAT ABSOLUTELY SHOWS AND PROVES AMERICA IN THE BIBLE - you will certainly have a hard time believing this I say! And since that time a dozen years ago...I have found several more KJV-only & USA-in-the KJV proofs. So, as per that prior email, call me and I will gladly show you! Richard

    Hello Again, Chris,

Wow...that is awesome to me that you have been right here before! What a thing!!

But other than that, I think you have missed the point and Truth that indeed Joseph IS Ephraim, and that is what is being said in Revelation, especially being that Manasseh, the other half-tribe of Joseph in addition to Ephraim, is also separately listed...thus a FULL 12 - TWELVE - Tribes-of-Israel NAMES...but totaling only ELEVEN TRIBES are in Revelation chapter 7's TWELVE NAMES LISTING...12...BUT NOT DAN!! Revelation 7 is the only listing in the Bible of the 12 Tribes where Dan is missing!! And being that Revelation is discussing and REVEALING by Almighty God Jesus Christ things END-TIME...that makes the Judges 5:17 question of God's so, so critical for the Bible believer to come to the answer of that will absolutely prove THE END IS HERE!

So then going back to that I was saying before, and saying it a little differently, it is deeply alluded to that the student must pray and look for, per the 3 passages, Genesis 49:16-18, Judges 5:17 mid-clause, and Revelation 7, the "and why did Dan remain in ships?"! That is what I studied to find some years ago and was asking you about; and that I would like to show you, being that you have not yet found the answer to that question of God's!!

So let me say and ask it this way: do you have means to phone me here in the U.S.? I have never called long-distance on my cell phone, and have no idea how to set such a thing up. So, if you can?!...**** is my number!

Then, I am not talking any "prophetical interpretations"; nor am I at all involved with anyone else in finding these things in hundreds and even thousands of my-own-by-myself hours of study over the years...these things are clear and guaranteed, and I am sure a couple hours on the phone together would have you absolutely convinced of and thrilled at these things! Want to do it?!!

I am completely flexible time-wise, so you pick it! Cordially, Richard

Hi Richard. We are 15 hours ahead of you here in Perth & just having some Autumn (Fall) rains as I write. My wife & I were in SLC a couple of years ago, meeting up with a Delta pilot friend who was hitching a ride on another aircraft to meet his own aircraft in another city. As well, we had a great coach tour from SLC through Idaho & Montana. We always enjoy visiting the U.S. & catching up with friends who are spread all over - but all that is now curtailed, for a long while I expect.

I have to admit, I'm not into such prophetical interpretations as you are involved in. I don't say that is wrong to do, but I can't in all good conscience take to such interpretations, let alone teach them. I'm satisfied with what we can clearly see in the Scriptures, & even if some of the countries mentioned in Ezekiel 38 (e.g. Magog, Meshech, Tubal) cannot be correctly identified, it does provide us with something that we can refer to. But to bring in the U.S., U.K., & others into the Scripture, I personally find difficult to do.

And with the Tribe of Dan, as also Ephraim, who are missing in the list in Revelation 7, there has been speculation. As also the mention of 13 Tribes in other OT Scriptures, where Joseph is left out & his sons, Ephraim & Manasseh are given. And then Joseph & Manasseh are found in Rev 7, but Ephraim is missing. I wonder whether there is any relation to the missing Ephraim & Dan tribes. Maybe the fact that they both were involved in idolatry & increasing apostasy in some way (Judges chapters 17-21) caused them being omitted. May you have the Lord's Wisdom, Richard, as you search the Scriptures to formulate teachings in respect to the End Times.

According to Isaiah, the end-time evil leaders of the Babylon system will pay a heavy price for their behavior. They will be gathered together in a pit, like dogs.

( Isaiah 24:21-22) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

The fifth trumpet gives way to the sixth seal that gives way to the sixth trumpet:

    ( Revelation 9:1-11) fifth trumpet.

    9-11-2001 to 9-11-2021

    Afghanistan war ends

April 14, 2021, WASHINGTON (AP) - President Joe Biden said Wednesday he will withdraw remaining U.S. troops from the 20 year "forever war" in Afghanistan. His plan is to pull out all American forces numbering 2,500 - by this Sept. 11, the anniversary of the attacks.

( Isaiah 33:1) Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee. (sixth trumpet warning)

    The sixth seal:

( Revelation 6:12-14) unfolds like a rolled up scroll. The two separate sixth seal events start with Revelation 6:13, then vs 14's "scroll", then to vs 12's earthquake, which triggers the day of the Lord. Logic stands that vs 14 must happen before vs 12, being that vs 12 signifies the iconic sixth trumpet, "the day of the Lord" battle. vs 17 verifies it. The sixth seal earthquake ushers in the sixth trumpet.

( Revelation 6:13) And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. (vs 14) And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. (vs 12) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (vs 17) For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

( Revelation 11:13-14) And in that hour there was a great earthquake ( Revelation 6:12), and a tenth of the city collapsed.... vs 14 The second woe is past....

vs 13's great earthquake begins the second woe. Also, verses 13 & 14 are 3.5 years apart.

Hello Byron. As you know the account prior to verse 14, Abraham subsequently named that place in the land of Moriah as "Jehovah Jireh". And we generally know this Name as another compound Name for God: Jehovah Who Provides - just as God provided the ram to be sacrificed in lieu of Isaac.

And also in verse 14, Moses quotes a proverb that was used during his time in remembrance of that wonderful day of God's provision to Abraham: "In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen". In Hebrew, Jehovah Jireh (at its root) translates to "God is seen, or God has seen". So, because of the all-seeing Eye of God, He is always aware of every need, & particularly so in this matter of Abraham taking his faith & obedience to the extreme point in raising his knife against his son. His faith didn't flinch because he trusted in Jehovah Jireh to be present at that time & would provide or intervene or even bless him with another son. There was a very active faith shown here. But because his son was spared, Abraham named that place as he did, & others after him knew that place as the 'mount where the Lord's Presence & Intervention was seen'.

And of course, this speaks to us of God's faithful Presence in each of our lives, no matter what we're going through in life or what 'mountain' of griefs lie before us; and it can only be the seed of real faith in God that provokes Him to do what is best & in His Will. We can be assured that His Arm of Salvation & Providence will be "seen" before our eyes during our trials & God becomes very personal & precious to us as our YHWH Jireh.

    Already done!

1 Corinthians 1:55-57 can be taken together.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The celebration: O death, where is your sting? This is a quote from Hosea 13:14, the victory song. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

So it's a Jewish victory song that Paul is pulling from the Old Testament, and he's saying that our struggle will be over at that time. It will be God who will give us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus defeated death. He rose from the dead. And because He lives, we shall live also. And that will happen because He lives inside of me. Wherever He goes, I am going to go. He's in my spirit. Wherever He goes, I'm going to go. Wherever He is, that's where I'm going to be. However long He lives is how long I'm going to live, and He never dies. He lives forever so I will live forever.

Now if He is still in the grave, even if He died for your sins on the cross, there's no life hereafter if He's not risen from the grave, and you'll still die in your sins.

Byron, In the mount of LORD, it shall be seen, means to see, or, to see to a thing, or provide. It means in faith we can be fully confident without any doubt that our needs, God will Himself see to it the same way He did for Abraham. That is why Abraham called the place Jehovahjireh, meaning the LORD will provide.

I was not blessed with children so I can not even imagine how Abraham was feeling. God had told him to travel to this place to sacrifice his only son. Isaac asked his father, where is the sacrifice and Abraham told him God will provide himself a lamb. When he had placed Isaac on the wood and had the knife in his hand God sent an angel and stopped him and provided a ram. What faith it took for Abraham to have in God. There was another sacrifice, same as God asked of Abraham but God did not stop it, and His only begotten Son He gave provides us salvation, being rescued from the power and penalty of sin and eternal life with Him, in His Son Jesus the Lamb God provided Himself, for us.

    God bless, Ron

    George,

2 John Chapter 1 Verse 6 starts out by saying, And this is love, that we walk after (or according) to His commandments.

Remember in 1 John Chapter 5, in the first 3 verses, he described what love does. Love keeps the commandments of God because God is love. He gives us the love for Him, and for His commandments.

Even Jesus said in John 13:34-35, a new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another. Actually, loving one another is the old commandment, but He's giving it in a new way.

Love one another. Here's the new way: As I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men shall know that you are my disciples if you have love one to another. That's to Christians; if you have love one to another.

The non-believer will know that we belong to Christ because Christ's love is flowing within the body of Christ from one believer to another.

He says that's the evidence, the proof. And love will keep the commandments. That is in John 14:15, where Jesus said if you love me, you will keep my commandments.

That's why His commandments are not grievous, because if you love Him, you'll want to please Him. You'll want to do that which is good for you and your walk with God. This is the commandment, that, as you have heard from the beginning, in order that you should walk in it.

2 Peter 1: 10-11 is very clear that we, as believers, must hold fast to our faith in Christ for eternal salvation. This, along with many other verses, teach that the security of the believer is conditional, not unconditional. 1 Peter 1:5 even tells us that we are kept by the power of God through faith (present/continual tense). We are to be active followers of Christ, just as Christ says in John 10: 27-28. the ones who are secure are the ones who follow Christ. We are absolutely assured of our eternal salvation as long as we continue in the Father through the Son ( 1 John 2:24-25). We are taught by John in his 1st epistle that the promise of eternal life is conditional on continued faith in Christ. We are told we need to endure to the end ( Mt 10:22).

Some people think 2 Peter 1: 10-11 has nothing to do with justification, but, sanctification. This is misleading because verse 11 clears explained and expounds on verse 10 to mean eternal entrance to Heaven..... Key word is entrance. If 2 Peter 1:10-11 had nothing to do with our salvation Peter would not have even mentioned entrance into Heaven.

We can, and should take such comfort in the hope and assurance we have in our eternal life. However, we need to be mindful of the warnings that the writers of the Holy Bible put forth, as well. We must never take our eyes of Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith ( Heb. 12:2). We must never let ourselves grieve the Holy Spirit by partaking in willful sin, as by willful sinning we create and evil heart of unbelief and run the risk of departing from the living God and falling short of entrance into His rest- Heaven ( Heb. 3: 12- Heb. 4:1). We must remain in God's word for guidance and instruction. By doing so, we will grow in our walk with Christ. We must always remember, He is the vine, we are the branches. We can do nothing without him. If we do not abide/remain in Christ we are cast off and burned, which is synonymous with hell ( John 15 1:6).
