Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:5-6
Wow, the OT really lays it on thick about Jesus causing a disturbance: great and dreadful. Imagine how disappointed all the pre-great tribers will be when they're not raptured.
Jesus said, "Be ready
For you know not the hour in which I come"
He said, "He who is not for me is against me"
Just so you know where He's coming from

Back to Daniel in vs. 27 "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." The he does not change. The same he that shall confirm is the same he shall make it desolate, the scriptures show this is Jesus not a antichrist.
When Jesus was crucified on the cross He caused the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (the old Levitical covenant animal sacrifices) because Jesus is the final sacrifice. Matthew 23:37-38 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Jesus through his disciples He confirmed for the second half of the week. Matthew 10:5-7 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. The 70 weeks ended when Peter had his dream and Paul was sent out.
I would like to continue with this if we both agree to study and be open to the truth. Ron
I want to thank you Sacha and Carleton for your understanding of my post. This shows me that there are people out there who agrees with God's power of salvation. Now some may think that if God already choose His saved ones, then one can just live anyway he or she likes. This is far from the truth. People who God choose will at the time of God's drawing them, obey His commandments stipulated in His Holy Scriptures, preferably the King James Version because it's the first and most accurate English version.
So no, chosen ones don't live anyway as they like, the Spirit of God will not afford them to. It's God's Spirit that liveth in them overcoming the evil spirit that was inherited in all of us in the garden of Eden. This is good so no man can boost on his or her neighbors whom he or she perceived are going to hell. Hope this helps. God bless you
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
I believe this has come to pass in all born again souls.

This is how it should read: What is the turning point of man's relationship with God?
No opinions please. Biblical facts only. Specifically Chapter and Verse.
Thank you!

I think he might be referring to what is called the Mishna. The Mishna was a set of 613 rules telling the Jews how to keep the 10 commandments.
What that verse is declaring "and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" is not that the Word of God to be changed. It is meaning the Scripture be used for those things upon "us people" to reform, correct, or instruct us in righteousness.
I also had that thought a while ago when reading that verse but it became clear.
Hope that helps. God Bless.
Just to add to what Skip replied. An easy way to look over the OT Laws are type in "613 Mitzvot laws" on your computer. There are several websites with them all listed, with their links "book, chapter, verse", in the Bible. Just a little easier to look over them but not every single detail will be written as in the Bible.
Hope that helps. God Bless.
In the midst of the week, Messiah was cut off at Calvary.
They are in Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, it is a long read, it covers what sacrifices are needed and more. They started Genesis 1 and when Noah came off the Ark. I think after you start reading you will recognize them, but if you read these books there are more than the laws in these books.
God bless, Ron
You'll have to read Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy. This is where God gives Moses instructions for The Jews to live in The Old Covenant. We live in The New Covenant. The Old Covenant rules are not for us. They can instruct us about how God related with His People, The Jews. But we can be instructed by these things.
"Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." 1Co 10:11
Here's what Paul said about the purpose for The Law:
"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Gal 3:24
"Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee." Lev 19:19
"Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together. Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together."Deu 22:9-11
"The Law" is sometimes used to refer to the five books that Moses wrote: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy; but in this case The Law refers to instructions God gave to Moses for the Jewish people living in Canaan.
The Law was given in three areas: moral law, civil law and ceremonial law.
The 10 Commandments were moral law given to the Jews. It began, "I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." Exo 20:2
They were not written TO you and me. It us TO the Jewish people at that time. We can be instructed by the 10 Commandments and most of those laws are universal. Christians make the first day of the week as their day of rest.
Regarding garments, these prohibitions were designed to keep the Jewish people separated from the Jewish Priests and separated from the practices of the nations that surrounded them. It was civil (cultural) and ceremonial.
This was The Old Covenant. We are in a different Covenant with God, The New Covenant. The Old Covenant does not apply to us. That's not to say that now it's okay to murder, adulterize and steal. Just read Matthew 5. But wear any blend of fabrics you like.
What was it that disturbed you in 1 Timothy 3:16?
Where is it that says that it's okay to change the Word of God?
That Scripture states that all Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for
Doctrine--that is telling us truth about God, man, salvation etc.
Reproof--that is telling us what we are doing that's wrong.
Correction--that is telling us how to correct the direction of our lives like STOP doing this and START doing this.
Instruction in righteousness--that is how to live in right standing with God.
