    2 Peter 3:8

    New King James Version

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The worlds referred to in Heb 1:2 means [ahee-ohn; a particular age or period or interval] so it may not mean other worlds besides our world since Adam and Eve, but having said that, Luke 15:4 speaks of a man having a hundred sheep and losing one, leaving the 99 to look for the one. This means what we all know it to mean; that Jesus will do anything to save all his children, this could also mean that God made other worlds/dispensations before Adam and Eve and we are the 1 lost sheep that needs saving. I haven't done much research into it but knowing God-with Him all things are possible, so its entirely conceivable.

Revelation 9 speaks of Abaddon which comes out of the bottomless pit. This Abaddon lived before Adam and ruled a prehistoric world made up of hybrid beasts. The locusts are a combination of man and beast. The creatures that sinned in the prehistoric age were banished to the bottomless pit.

Lucifer fell by looking on the sin of these prehistoric creatures. Apparently lucifer was tasked to cover the sin of these prehistoric creatures with his wings but he disobeyed God and looked and was filled with pride.

There's also mention in Is 34:14 which speaks of hybrid beasts like the Satyr which means [he-goat, faun, devil, hairy, kid, rough]

First of all in Ephesians 4:8-12 GOD descends First to into Paradise, a great Water separates Hades=Hell with Paradise in the lower Parts of the Earth. GOD=Jesus 3 full Nights and 3 full Days in belly of the Earth, then arises with the Saint's to 3rd Heaven. Abraham and the Beggar are with them all. That is why Hades has more than doubled in size as GOD said it did. Paradise is no more. GOD took it all away at his Resurrection. Resurrected Saints where seen by Many, Matthew 27: 50-55. Proving the Resurrection of GOD and his Saints into Glory=3rd Heaven. Where we are hoping and Praying to get to. As they Ascended to Glory so will we. GOD= Lord Jesus Christ proves this in Bodily form, to show us all what wait's us all. Glory!!! I hope this helps all of you as it did me.

Their can only be two classes, those who receive the living seal of god or those who receive the mark of the beast or his image .We are near the close of time. We have been given great light in regards to Gods law. " They shall be mine saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him" [ Mal 3:17 ] A mark is placed upon everyone of Gods people, who bear the likeness to Christ in character. The seal of God will never be placed upon the foreheads of men or women of false tongues or deceitful hearts. To receive the seal all must be without spot before God. In the preparation for the coming of our Lord we should set time aside for prayer and fasting. Satan will use every opportunity to seduce and deceive men from their allegiance to God. But our God is a God or mercy, long- suffering and tender compassion giving warnings to save all from divine wrath. "Satan will work with all power and deceivableness of unrighteousness."2 Thessalonians and lead the world captive. Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived [ 2 Tim.3:13 ] When Gods law the fourth commandment; Remember the Sabbath [Saturday ] day to keep it holy, when this law is made void then wrath of God will be upon the inhabitants of the earth. The United States is the 2nd beast which hands power back to the first beast who's deadly wound was healed. For he causeth all both small and great rich and poor free and bond to receive a mark in his forehead or in his hand [ Rev 13 ]

    Study [ Revelation 13 ] [ Revelation 14] [ Revelation 17] [ Daniel 8] [ Daniel 11:36-39] [ 2Thess 2: 3,4 ]

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God [ Rev2:7 ]

I love the hymn, "Behold the Dying Savior"

    Hebrews 2:9; Luke 23:33

Ah, poor sinner, think of Calv'ry,

    Of the One who suffered there;

Do you know He died in mercy,

All your load of guilt to bear?

    Jesus-oh, that name so precious!-

    "Tasted death for every man,"

And His blood will purge thy conscience

    From the deepest crimson stain.

Xaviar- In this warfare the Sabbath of the fourth commandment will be the great point at issue, for in the Sabbath commandment the Great lawgiver identifies himself as Creator of heavens and earth.

    Reasons For Keeping The Sabbath

Ex 31: 13 Speak thou unto the children of Israel, saying, verily my Sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that does sanctify you.

Ezek 20:12 Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths: and they shall be a sign between me and you,That ye may know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

Ezek 20:20 And hallow my Sabbaths: and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your GOD. God's Holy law is as unchangeable as his throne, and is from everlasting to everlasting,

It may not matter to some what day you keep Holy. But it matters to God! Their has only been one day sanctified Blessed and hallowed by God it is Saturday. The man of sin, it is declared in Daniel, "shall think to change times and laws,"

Rev 14:8 And their followed another angel saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city ,

because she made all nations drink of the wine of the of wrath of her fornication. The fourth commandment says REMEMBER the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy. No one can change the Law of God but God himself. For God has said their is no shadow of turning within me . I am the Lord Thy God I Change Not. Blessings.

Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (verse 7 Jesus said)- Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye MUST be born again.

Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.(Not because he is a Jew)

Galations 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

FAITH IS NOT WHO YOU ARE BLACK, WHITE, NATIONALITY HAS NO EFFECT ON BEING A HEIR WITH CHRIST BUT BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED BY/THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

What is mentioned about the law and gospel? How do they differ from each other, while at the same time complementing each other? Like you say Paul teaches concerning the things of the church, Peter describes the Christ to the Judaizer. What then is the overall message we need to hear and understand?

I do not think that Joseph's owner actually thought that Joseph had tried.to rape his wife. He knew how she was or he would not have put Joseph in the Kings prison . This prison was for the higher society criminals . His hand was forced and he had to do something .

The Bible says flesh and blood will not enter into heaven with flesh and bone will because Jesus had flesh and bone with his new body his glorified body if a man and woman are of the same flesh then want that be of the same flesh in heaven why wouldn't God let us stay with our spouse that doesn't make sense because that's the joys of living for God he meant before Satan took over for us to live on this Earth as man and wife until Satan got in and messed it up and I think my opinion my opinion only we will go back and be man and wife in heaven there won't be no marrying or giving in marriage because I've been with my wife for 50 years and death did not separate us because I believe we're going to be eternally remember we are known as we are known we will have a mother and dad in heaven a brother and sister if you have a mother and dad then that means that they are man and wife you can't be a man and wife or a father and mother and God's will unless you are married and I don't mean the old marriage were the people used to get together and make a deal to have better financial unions we marry for love like our soulmates that's my opinion and remember Jesus said all with all things are possible with God

As with many of these epistles, the authors were wanting to impart both teaching & warning about intruders into the Church. Paul's letter to the believers in Galatia (whether to the Churches in the north or south of Galatia can't be ascertained) also came as both a warning & teaching.

The Church there had false teachers among them (1:6-9). They were teaching that Paul's teaching was false & that he wasn't a genuine apostle of Christ (Paul gave a defence of this in 1:11-24). So their teaching, as with Judaizers, brought in a merit-based salvation, i.e. that there needed to be a strict obedience to Mosaic Law as well as faith in Jesus. Paul's answer to them, as it is to us now, that salvation in Christ can only be by God's Grace through faith in Jesus' death & resurrection, chapters 3-5.

So Paul preached that we are justified only by faith in Christ plus absolutely nothing else. If anything is added to faith, then faith ceases & it becomes works (making justification by human effort or contribution or even cleaving to the old Law which failed). Paul even had to rebuke the Apostle Peter (2:11-21) who suddenly stopped eating with the 'uncircumcised Gentile believers' when pressured to do so by some Hebrew Christians. This was hypocrisy that Paul took Peter to task over as Peter & others weren't practising the Truth when they also identified with Jewish requirements.

This Book, along with Romans, gives much theological teaching on this matter of Law & Grace though Faith & they form much of what we know & teach, so that others in the Church may know how important it is to separate the two (only because of Christ's death).

Hi Marilyn. here is the sins of Sodom. Ezekiel 16:49-50 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.. Now concerning the darkness you spoke of. John 1:4-12 . In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Ephesians 2 - 5 years ago
Hi Marilyn, I find it concerning you never mentions Christ by means of Redemption! nor faith, nor grace, nor mercy. but you mentions the law by means of the commandments, Where is the sacrifices? do you know Christ came to fulfill the law? and the sacrifices pointed to him, the first being the skins God made Adam and Eve when they bit of the tree of knowledge? The issue was they knew they were naked/ "sin exposed " and they would try to cover themselves. You see Garments in the scripture often speaks of righteousness, ( Mans righteousness is as filthy rags). Do you know inside the tabernacle was the 10 commandments and over it was a mercy seat? the law was called the ministry of condemnation. Romans 7:8-14 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Paul here is using himself as an example for us all. Now all the characters you used were just, question is how was they just? " The just shall live by faith " .They were perfect, "meaning blameless" They were right in their relationship with God, They were taught to offer up sacrifices, " by faith Abel offered up a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, Abel sacrifice pointed to Christ, Cains was the works of his own hands. They all was justified by faith.
  • Rod - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 5 years ago
The simple answer to your question is repentance and prayer, knowing that only through faith in the Cross and all that it means, do we receive God's grace and mercy. I've been there and done that many times over the years, we've all fallen at one time or another, this is because of our human nature (sin) but I also believe that the Holy Spirit is there through our conscience to comfort us, and convict us when we've gone astray (that guilty feeling) and direct us back to the cross (the narrow road). If somehow we hurt one of our friends and realize our mistake we ask for forgiveness, and if we're genuine in our apology, our true friends will forgive us realizing that we all make mistakes. Throughout the bible we find man falling away from God, as David did with Bathsheba, another man's wife, 2 Samuel 11:3, or Manasseh in 2 Kings 21:14 - 21:17, but through repentance and prayer they again came to know God and all His mercies, and Paul who first persecuted the church became one of the greatest apostles for the church.

Throughout the NT you will read of Jesus teaching starting with Matthew Chapter 5-7, this is the start of Jesus ministry, the Beatitudes and sermon on the mount.

Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:"
