The sin in Eden was a man and his wife committing fornication.

Colossians 3:18, "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord." This verse means that husbands and wives can do what is unfit. And the cross reference to "as it is unfit in the Lord" sends me to Ephesians 5:3, to explain what is unfit. "But fornication, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you." Oral and anal sex is forbidden and unfit for husbands and wives for it is stated in Jude 7 that the sex of Sodom and Gomorrah is called fornication, "Sodom and Gomorrah giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh are set forth for an example." So, we can see that God forbids all men and women, all husbands and wives, to use their bodies for fornication, the sex of Sodom and Gomorrah. This truth is reinforced and made clear in 1 Corinthians 6:13 where it declares, "The body is not made for fornication, but for the Lord."

A Virgin maybe pure blood race. As to how you can tell a virgin from not, would be hard to do.

Look to Egypt for the true laws of God, as the Pharos where God to the people and the Pharos considered them self's God and and the laws they made were God's Law.

Every person should read Ezekiel 13 because God says that those preachers who out of their own mind with their Devine thinking of made up stuff by themselves and not Gods Devine plan are going to get it, the boot! and telling people they are going to fly away is very dangerous so just so you know rapture people God hates those who teach His people to fly to save their souls and at the 6th trump when a false messiah stands in Jerusalem with supernatural powers as antichrist claiming he is God returned and the world will follow him and he just might say follow me and we will all fly away it ain't gonna be where you think. Now those who know Revelation 12:8 Satan booted out to deceive the world in a deception and Mark 13, Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2 take heed and don't be deceived. Also the 7 years was cut down to five months for the elect sake anyway 5 months Revelation 9:10 so Satan will be here 2 an a half so store food for 3 months and don't buy or sell and Listen To Those who are Delivered up its God Speaking. Wait for the 7th Trump that's when Christ returns, fire and hail stones and He ain't going to fly anyone out because He sets His Kingdom up Here!

I have read these books before. I asked my Heavenly Father to show me truth and understanding of why the people bowed down to the wooden cross. and give their lives to an idol they made with their own hands in the image and likeness of the crucified Jesus . With no fear of offending the living God, the God of the living, the God that never died. I have been judged by mankind as blasphemous and delusional when i declare that I love the Lord , my God and fear to offend the God that breathed the life in my heart and soul. I can hear My Heavenly Father's voice in my heart . From my childhood God hid me from the darkness and safely carried me through surrounded by the most unGodly cruelty of mankind upon children , children to this very day , taken , beaten enslaved, transported , locked in cages, raped , sold , reclaimed , and recycled back to very hands responsible for their innocent lives. Only to be thrown away in the name of church and state, so the governments and Christian charities can fill their fleshly desires , in the name of their wooden God , As a surviving adult of child trafficking, i send out my ongoing request for mercy , on behalf of the children taking my place, to this very day it remains denied by man.

Be aware, and warned , God calls us to answer and return to him. My request is the promise of the seed. May God bless this book and let only truth be found. these are the things that i can understand.

"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God." Luke: 18:19.

The question was asked why did Jesus need to be baptized? He was not a fornicator. However, there must have been something he needed to repent of.

The original meaning of the word Baptism is to be washed from all the laws written in the book of Leviticus. Baptism is washing one's self from breaking any of those laws. In Matthew 3:6, "And were baptized of him confessing their sins." People are washed by confessing their sins. They are washed by the word of God. By believing the truth.

Lu 3:3 " And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins".

Baptism is confessing your sins. That is what baptism is as stated in Matthew 3:6, "and were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins."

The question, Why did Jesus need to be baptized is a good question.

I think I understand the meaning, but I don't know who is speaking. The guy sounds like a .. well, I'll show some restraint and just say horrid person. It does *not* sound like something Jesus would say, even in his tough love moments. It goes against "love thy enemy" at the very least. It would be super helpful if there was a way to identify who is being quoted on this site.

Do you mean physical death or spiritual death. If you mean spiritual death, then you must understand that you can be once dead or twice dead. Those given to fornication are twice dead as stated in the book of Jude. That means their sin is more deadly than a lesser sin. The hypocrites will be accused of neglecting the weightier matters of the law. Yes, fornication is a greater sin.

What do you think of the Christianity of today marrying and ordaining the homosexuals?
  • Sean W on Luke 9:60 - 5 years ago
It is likely the man was seeking to gain his inheritance from his dying father. His time would be better spent in the eyes of god spreading the word and saving living souls.

If i am reading Hebrews 10 vs 2 and Philippians 4 vs 7 correctly, why do I feel so guilty for past sins? Yes I have backslidden and have come back to the Lord. when i first came and was saved I knew I was forgiven without a doubt and never dwelt on past sins, but this time i do. Now I know I am saved no doubt but to often the peace of God escapes replaced by guilt and shame of ever leaving in the first place.

After reading this verse in context of what has just happened, the widow woman had faith that cause her to keep praying and not faint or give up. The widow woman's faith caused her to believe in The God of Heaven to avenge her of her adversary, through an ungodly king that did not fear God. The Bible does not state what or who her adversary was. But God used the parable of this widow woman to teach me that regardless to if our President, whoever our judges are, those that make decisions-God will hear and avenge my adversaries IF...I will Always pray and faint not.

If Jesus had returned in her day, Jesus would have found faith by her faithfulness . She believed God, therefore she agivated the king to address her adversary.

This to me is an example of verse 8:"...Nevertheless when the Son of man comets, shall he find faith on the earth."

I dont know the answer but there are other meaning of the woor for bow. A bow on his heir. It also mentions a crown. That might be the reason not mentioning of the arrows. He might the King. Not sure if that what it means.

At death, a sinner suffers a threefold separation of his being:

his body goes to the grave, his soul goes to hell (sheol), and his spirit ascends upward to God. [ Ecc 3:21]

In the Old Testament Dispensation, upon the death of a believer, his body went to the

grave, and his soul and spirit went to Paradise, also called death and Abraham's bosom. After the Blood of Jesus was applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven, the spirit and soul of a believer could go directly into the presence of the LORD ( II Corinthians 5:8).

When a believer dies, the body goes to the grave, the soul and spirit goes to God. Not all Christian believers will go up in the rapture or catching away as they haven't grown to that level. Some will have to endure the tribulation period of 3,5 yrs.

There is no requirement. It is a free gift from God. All you have to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of God and believe in your heart that he was raised from the dead, you shall be saved.

Its a prophecy of the United States. King James bible came out in 1611. through the knowledge of the Lord and savior v. 20 we escaped from those that lived in error v.18 , those deceived by the false teachers of that time. We were promised liberty v 19 but instead were made merchandise through feigned words v 3. (Federal reserve, debt note, IMF , World bank S. Security act of 1933, Birth Cir. etc.) v. 10-15 These international banksters walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise the hierarchy of government which starts with the Almighty and the lord Jesus sitting at His right hand. (the original text of KJ Rom13)The government Isaiah 9:6 not the corruption within mystery babylon the mother of all harlots which is the only "church" and state AKA the Vatican and "holy see". The latter end is worse than the beginning v.20 so please understand what the falling away is. The apostasy or departure/rebellion of and from Gods word is starring us all in the face.

1 : to beg for urgently or anxiously beseeched him to write while he was away- R. W. Hatch. 2 : to request earnestly : implore besought their protection.

3: If you're begging for something but you want to sound formal and a little old-fashioned, say "I beseech you!" It really captures how urgent and desperate you are, yet perhaps saves a shred of your dignity. Beseech sounds a little like seek, which is appropriate. To beseech is to seek for something, or for permission.

4: To beseech is to ask for something earnestly or desperately. An example of beseech is how you might ask your boss for a promotion at work. To ask for earnestly; solicit eagerly; beg for. To beg or implore.

Thank you, it's just the waiting to see what will happen (the eleventh hour) and not knowing what to prepare for next.

If God gave me this purpose, why is man interfering. I truly do trust the Lord! It's like Hospice patients you wish they weren't dying but it's the natural path so you resolve that fact and you make them comfortable and wait.

    Adam.

"The Bible also never talks about people using the restroom, although we can assume they probably did."

The Bible does mention these matters, therefore, you need no longer assume.

    Deuteronomy 23:

12Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

13And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

14For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

    Also,

"So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall." 1 Samuel 25:22

"And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house(public outhouse) unto this day." 2 Kings 10:27

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

For sure God loved whatever piece of work that He did as it is written that"and God saw that it was so good", secondly for real God loved man and this is seen in the way He carefully prepared the earth for him and after which He put him to eat and manage, so we really as mankind need to appreciate that Love and embrace it once again through Jesus christ by accepting Him as our personal saviour because He is the only way through which we can ever go back into that beautiful Love of God.

If God commands us not to do something and we do it ,that is sin ,wether He tells us not to eat that fruit or not to covet our neighbours ox or not to commit adultery ,its all sin ,you seem to want to focus on sexual sins which is ok but in doing so you may be not noticing all the other potential sins possibly going on around you.
  • Rev Tim George on 1 John 3:3 - 5 years ago
This verse is talking about how hoping and waiting for the return of Christ in the epiphany to call us to heaven, we purify ourselves as we are being purified by the blood of Jesus on the Cross. The Holy Spirit sanctifies us daily as we read the word and pray to Jesus our Mediator. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Purity comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and it is our faith that justifies us as though we never sinned. Just as Abraham believed God and it was accounted unto him for righteousness. This is the same faith that purifies us as we wait on the return of Christ for the Church. So beloved now are we the sons of God and it does not appear what we shall be, but when Christ appears we shall be like Him pure and holy.
