I have a question pertaining to HEBREWS chapter 1 verse 11. The verse says*They shall perish, but thou remainest, and they all shall wax old as doth a garment? can you explain the meaning of this to me please?

That reference in Luke 17:30, refers to the Second Coming of Jesus (i.e. when He is revealed to those on Earth). As you read the verses (22-37), you will see that Jesus was speaking to His disciples about what things will be like prior to His coming.

How and why has he created me? Even from the lowest places, he continues to preserve me for this very day! While being hidden in his spirit, guided by his truths, placed where there is no one else to proclaim his name! Yet you say, He is no one! He will disappear, and be no longer. We will rid ourselves of him! You have hated him for no reason! You are about to find out His power is much, much ,more than you or I will ever know! He will mount up, and renew his strength! His greatness yet to come!

God's re-creation of a new Heaven (may also refer to the sky/universe) & a new Earth, is the final great Act of God to remove the stain & stench of sin from the Earth. Satan, his demons & all who followed him have been cast into the eternal Lake of Fire (chapter 20), so now this new Earth will be for all the righteous ones to live on, with God Himself reigning with them.

It appears that with the creation of the New Jerusalem, which comes down & is established on this new revamped Earth, that there will be no other countries or cities, as all of God's people will be eternally with the Father & His Son in this new City. Those who have been raptured, or had died in Christ earlier, along with the Old Testament saints & martyrs, will have 'physical' bodies so fashioned, that we will be able to live in Heaven or on Earth. That is why the "dead in Christ will rise first" at the coming of the Lord ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16), that their reconstituted bodies, with those living, will be physically with the Lord & not just 'spirits in Heaven'.

The 144,000 that you read about in Revelation chapters 7 & 14, apply to the 12,000 from each of the 12 Tribes of Israel. We are not told how these will be known & selected (except it's stated that they are virgins ( Revelation 14:4), seeing that present day Israel is largely of mixed blood. Yet aside from these, there will still be the number of redeemed Gentiles ( Revelation 7:9) who will, together with all the other inhabitants of Heaven, worship the Lord into Eternity.

Hosea 3:5, "Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days."

From the account you read in this chapter, Hosea was to demonstrate very vividly, through having an unfaithful wife, Gomer, God's displeasure with Israel, yet His longing that they would be brought back to Him. When Hosea had to repurchase her, she was to be kept in seclusion (depicting the state of Israel, then & now, when she would have no one to rule, nor would God be present through the ephod & teraphim). Israel may have a Prime Minister & a lawful government now, but there has never been nor will be a human King to rule over her since the days of the kings of Israel & Judah.

But the day will come (in the future) when Israel will begin to truly seek the Lord & yearn for "David their King". So the reference to David cannot be to King David who had long been passed away, but to the Son of David, Jesus Christ, Who would at long last be recognized as Israel's King & Messiah. That's why, when Jesus comes back, He comes with His Title, "King of kings & Lord of lords" on His Vesture & Thigh ( Revelation 19:16). And He comes to rule, in the Davidic line, in Jerusalem & His Rule will be a righteous rule unlike any king before Him & without end.

The earth was prepared for the moment when The Bible says, in beginning. God created Time first. God lives outside of time, and He is the Alpha and the Omega. So He can move inside of Time too.

I've always thought that because only earth was made habitable (among all the rest of the solar system),

The Godhead had been preparing earth for the moment God spoke The Word, and the Holy Spirit who is Action, performed the Word.

The challenging thing is that He gave everyone freewill. We could live in Gods perfect will. I think our free will is influenced by the Holy Spirit, (our human free will). and "The I WILL": Lucifer who lost his name and became Satan. Isaiah 14:12

At the end of this period of time, we will be moving to heaven which exists outside of time. We aren't going to age and die.

It's really hard sometimes to read the doubtful comments. I pay close attention when I'm reading the Bible (which is a large part of my time), what is the Godhead showing me about themselves, today? I find them all United in purpose, they conference together; I mark those things that cause hurt and righteous anger. I love many stories in the Bible; love to re-tell them to complete strangers: like Elijahs eyes opened to see legions of war dressed angels in chariots, or beloved Gideon hiding out because he didn't see himself as a leader of armies. God weeded them down to just the guys that keep a lookout even as they lapped water like dogs do. God said: "those are your guys, Gid." Talking donkeys, etc.

Guys & Gals, try reading the Bible to learn the stories. Like: Cain was killed in a fist fight. The guy that killed him outlived the curse.

Who wants to be on earth when it burns up?

Gen 3:16

Why is the punishment of Eve "he shall rule over you" so often explained as a command to men? E.g. in the Pulpit Commentary it is described as a confirmation of the dependendable position of the woman as when God gave Eve to Adam as a help-meet.

Now the punishment to Adam is not seen as a desirable thing in God's eye - He does not wish the earth to be barren and thorny, yet it happens as a result of sin. Yet the punishment of Eve is commonly commented as a commandment of God - even though God clearly speaks to Eve and not to Adam here. Can anyone explain?

I do not believe anyone is saved based on their tribe or people group. Jews were God's chosen people, but that doesn't mean they have a free pass to heaven. They need to believe and follow Jesus just like anyone else. Even in the Bible, Judas, a Jew who followed Jesus betrayed Him and then had a horrible death and I think likely will end up in hell.

Simple answer is Yes, and I believe these passages confirm that he needed to do this to conquer death for our salvation, and also Jesus talked of his resurrection in the gospels. I pray this helps.

Other tongues, those are spoken to God. It's between you & God. You will go forward & will receive power. Go preach the gospel in boldness. We must do so in love. Always in love

I believe that Acts 9 verse 8 answers that,

"And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus."

There is a difference in speaking in tongues as in Holy Spirit baptism. The Holy Spirit is the gift. Holy Spirit baptism in tongues is the utterance or a sign. Chapter 14 here is talking about spiritual gifts. It is those gifts given by God as he so desired to give. It's completely different. Even the first sentence of this chapter starts off by talking on spiritual gifts.
