Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Galatians 4 - 6 years ago
Churches teach the day of the Lord and the day of Christ are two different days. Ask yourself this question.
IS Jesus Christ the Lord? I say he is. Churches teach that these are 2 different events to slip in the pre trib rapture.
Thus essentially denying that Jesus is the Lord.

Bible book Song of Solomon 5:10 - My beloved is WHITE white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

Bible book Lamentations 4:7 - Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were WHITER whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:

Revelation 1:14 - His Jesus head and his hairs were WHITE white like wool, as WHITE white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass,
Brass is made of copper which is REDDISH GOLDEN BROWN, not black as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

John 1:1, 14, 18. Jesus is the Word, became flesh, became a man. Jesus was both human and divine. He was the Son of God and the Son of man.

Mark 2:27,28, Luke 4:16, Matt. 12:8, Exodus 20:8-11, Exodus 31:15-17, Exodus 35:2. From these texts The day of the Lord and the Lord day is the same. Even Jesus custom was to go into the synagogue on the Sabbath. As Christians we are to follow Christ example, obey His commandments.

Psalm 91 is my favourite passage whenever I'm making a journey. It increases my faith in God.
Also it is my daily national anthem, expecially verse 10 which states " No evil shall come near my dwelling place"

The Book of Revelation was written after the destruction of the Temple in 70AD, this book was especially written for the end times. How do you view the Book of Revelation then?

Does Deuteronomy 28:15-68 tell the of the curses that Judah would be subjected to for their breaking their covenant with The Most high? and If so when we find the people who fit all of the curses wouldn't we have found the true Hebrew? If this is true, then wouldn't the slaves of the trans Atlantic slave trade be the true Hebrew? they are the only people on the planet that has been scattered by the way of ships to the four corners of the earth. Isn't that right? and if we find those who fit the curses have we not found the true Hebrew, All of them happened to those people, and still do to this day. I await your answer.

There is a scripture which in essence says let no one condemn you as to which day you choose to worship the Lord (as in a day set aside to church, sabbath, etc.) I can't remember where that is. Can you help?

The Lord's Day and Day of the Lord are different, right? Can you give me both definitions?
  • Adam - In Reply on Genesis 6 - 6 years ago
Hello, God loved us enough to give us freewill- freedom to do good or evil- and allows people to do that indeed- we're not puppets or robots. If you believe in evil then you must believe in good. Unfortunately, many choose do evil and harm people and they will be judged accordingly in the end. God is not a genie in a bottle and we aren't entitled to His protection at our whim. During our extremely short life we will face trials and temptations and it's our own choice how to respond- with good or evil- and our choice whether to follow God or not and these decisions affect were we go in the afterlife.

You've taken this text COMPLETELY out of context. Can't use one verse to make it fit a scenario that it isn't Everything must be in context Not one place in this chapter is taking about marriage. It's talking about unbelievers, Like your wicked govement for instance. Remember back all the while the hebrews were in Egypt? They were on the yoke of Pharoah's bondage and God told His people over and over again to NOT return to the yoke of bondage. Christians have only God as lawgiver, judge and King. We are not part of this world, only passing thru it. Paul tells us quite plainly in the previous letter to the Corinthians that " you are bought with a price,be not ye the servants of men."

Actually, there's three parts of his/her post. He/she said on part 3 that we weren't be raptured or raised up to the sky after the sounding of the 7th trumpet.

"His Forknowelage of your Heart Repentance",therefore you are saying God was obligated to save you. That's not grace nor is he sovereign in saving you.A personal confidence of salvation is the record spoken of in 1John5:10&11.

The Hebrew word in this instance can mean exactly that.

Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. Really? No way I would let my daughters out of the house. Look, they didn't tell me they were angels.

And one asked this question once. How often should I forgive my brother til 7 times? And the Lord said to him, I say not 7 times but 7 times 7 times.

I think I met an angel once. I was going to work, something told me to pick up a hitchhiker and he told me to let him off at the next exit which was only around 1/4 mile and that was where I was going to get off anyway but I had it in my heart to carry him where he wanted to go. When he got out I gave him my paper bag lunch. He said God Bless you and that's the last I saw of him.

I think most males now days are circumcised when they are born. If I am circumcised, does that make me a Jew? I'm not as far as I know.

I agree. Abram should have refused. I am confused now.
  • Comfused on Genesis 14 - 6 years ago
I'm not confused here. I don't believe in war, but in this case they started it and I think they got what was coming to them. Don't mess with my kin.

"Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD."
Did he burn more animals on this altar? Why don't these people just pray to God?

    Do Not look back...
"Life isnt about finding yourself, its about creating yourself".

With each New decision...mess up... no problem...Repent... Just say " I agree with You Heavenly Father in Jesus ... " Do Not be deceived into looking back... Let His Face So Shine upon yours...

If he always fails, then why is there so much sin in the world today?
