When I was young, John 3:16 read: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him Shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
Now it reads that whosoever believeth in Him Should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The NIV version reads Shall not Perish. Should Not and Shall not have two different meanings. Has anyone else noticed this?

Adam was not deceived. 1Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. He just yielded to his desires.

I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit a number of years ago. Others around me told me later that I had spoken another language. I only remember three little words that had been running through my mind some time before. I fell away from the Lord later in life and didn't attend church of pray. Later In life, I asked forgiveness and have been a Christian for many years now. My question is: because I don't speak another language anymore, do I still have the Holy Spirit indwelling; or just perhaps will never have the gift of speaking tongues?

Don't get frustrated, you have to call and stay on hold, don't hang up or leave a message, it takes quite awhile to start receiving your checks and back pay if you were granted back pay, don't loose hope God is here for you. God bless you.

Praying the one true God is the one in the King James Version Bible who created heaven and earth. You must believe with all your heart and soul that Jesus was born from a virgin lived a sinnless life died on the cross for our sins came back to life in 3 days walked the earth again for another 40 days and now is in heaven sitting at the right hand of God his Father and our Heavenly Father. God will never lead you wrong, you can trust God, the one and only God who created heaven and earth and everything in it and on it. I invite you to join my group on Facebook called Jesus wants to give you ever lasting life. I post scripture on different topics and devotionals to help you understand His word

We are not to sin as becoming believers Christians Walker's of light. We are to please God and please him only walking in the will of God and not in our own will that causes us to sin. There is consequences and continually doing wrong. Husband's should love their wife as Christ loved them. Wife's should love their husbands and submit, to the right things that he tells her to do not just anything he want her to do that it's a sin or anyting that displease God. If people will obey this scripture a lot of marriages will be saved in this chapter.

How did Samson die? is he listed in the chapter of faith in Hebrews Chapter 11: 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

I prayed often to understand a generation of people who would be so accepting of transexuality. People changing their sex by surgery. How could a 6 yr old child desire that change. Why are people so confused; saying I'm male but inside of me I'm female?
God sent me to the Book of Genesis, chapter 1 verses 27 and verse 31. He made a man and then a woman. He said of his work, IT IS GOOD. Gods work is perfect. He didn't make any mistakes. That is what we should teach/preach to so many confused people.
SIN and satans lies confused these people. We have allowed our public schools to teach the lies. Children are made to feel they must choose these lies. The good news is Jesus saves

Duetronomy 6:4hear, o israel: the lord our god is one lord:---trinity is a heathen concept corruptly brought about by romans in about 300ad; ephesians4:4 says clearly' we have one god,one lord-messaiah,one spirit-holy ghost, one baptism-deeping in water, one faith-decalogue and christ'. do not be decieved by antichrist concepts-they are very cunning and tricky.hindus and other pagans have 'trinity in their worship'.satan-the beast-false prophet in revelation also form the three.there is not a single verse in the bible which has the term'trinity'. if any, then prove it.i mean the term trinity as it is ;not a derived concept.saints are only saints when they follow the bible;not any other thing!

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Wish this was more helpful. Sorry

The reference of Melchizedek with no beginning of days and no (earthly) Father or Mother is a veiled reference to Jesus who was Christ. Jesus had the same parents that the first adam had and he was called the last adam.
1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
This is why the virgin birth was important as Mary carried Jesus in her womb, but her fallen DNA was not used. Jesus had the same parents as the first adam. you may want to reread this if it does not make sense.
Jesus always existed with the Father, no beginning of days

The Samaritan woman at the well was a gentile and yet was a child of jacob Israel
    John Chapter 4
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well Jesus never corrected her and told her she was wrong. She was of Israel.

Ok, People thought that Jesus came only for the righteous and the pure but it not true. Why? because he came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He did not only come for the righteous(The Jews) but he equally came for the sinners( the gentiles, the tax collectors and the Pharisees)
  • Evans - In Reply on Genesis 5 - 6 years ago
No baptism is meant only for the living because only the living can fulfill the will of God.

Please be careful of the so called Hebrew roots / sacred name groups as they are judaizers who hate grace. Grace is not a license to sin, but laws do not save us. They want to cast doubt on the King James telling you Matthew was originally in Hebrew and mistranslated. It is all a lie of satan. They even deny the name of Jesus and argue continually over the spelling of yeshua / joshua / yahahasuah / ad nauseam...
Keep an eye on the Noahides also they want us to follow the 7 laws of Noah.
Where is this in the Bible? Nowhere is where.
The noahide laws exist only in the minds of Rabbis who deny Jesus as the Christ or Messiah.
Believing Jesus is God in the flesh is blasphemy to these rabbis

Why do people not care about the things of God in this dispensation?
  • Shonda - In Reply on Deuteronomy 6 - 6 years ago
This was a great read. It reminds us to testify and tell of God's goodness to future generations. How will they know what God can do if we don't share the things that we've been through? When they hear our stories of the mighty power of God, it will come to mind when they are in trouble. We must teach them to call upon the Lord or else others will teach them to turn to things that make matters worse. We all go through hardship, but it's better to go through with God than without Him. I find hope in God. Although I don't see Him, I believe that He sees me and will carry me through anything that comes my way. Trust God.
