Jesus was with you every minute of every day during the past 20 years. Why do you think you are back? Just keep praying in thanksgiving to Him, for all of His gifts and for saving you! Jesus said, do not worry for I will never leave you nor forsake you! Amen.

Read 1 John 1:8. If you say you have no sin you deceive yourself and the truth is not in you. We can not be without sin in the flesh. All we can do is be forgivin for it cleansed from the penalty of sin. That is what Jesus did for us. In order to understand scripture correctly you need to compare scripture with scripture and understand contest.

As I said, The Great Commission was given to the disciples. If you are a member of a church and wish to support the church, I suppose that is ok. Jesus's Church was a group of people not a building. I am mennonite of the old order. We meet in homes and therefore fulfill the scripture of meeting with other Christians. Pastors are paid sometimes very much more than the church members.

Office of Prophet and Apostle have ceased but their work goes on until The Rapture.. Luke 16:16..Law and The Prophets were until John, The Baptist..But All that Proclaim God's Word are doing The Work of a Prophet. Office of Apostle was a Special Office With Signs or Gifts from God to Prove Their Office.. 2nd Cor. 12: 12 and had to be Men who Witnessed Life and Resurrection of Jesus .Replaced Judas

I say nothing because I believe God will see to me getting everything I need. And also should we charge the church for everything we do? I understand some thing have to be paid for ex. paper, ink, etc. But my labor is free. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, Malachi 3:10

I agree and disagree. Yes some of today's church to appear to be more of a financial gain. But if tithes and offering were not given how would the church sustain. All bills are not exempted. They have to be paid. I don't like to be paid for things I do for my church. My bishop give me something from time to time. They'll ask me how much I charge for this or that? I'll say nothing for my church.

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Jesus is not confused and he didn't tell anyone to do anything that couldn't be done.

WOW, WOW, WOW!! This whole chapter is better than cool water to a thirsty person on a hot summer day. 1 example is: 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Thank You all for sharing the love of God and encouraging me to go forward in my life. Now I see my Hope in Christ! I was a nominal christian before, but now I see the true path to follow JESUS. Though we may never meet in this world, surely we'll meet JESUS together and will live together wid Him forever. Thank You JESUS, for the people you have kept around the world to spread your heavenly love.

There are none. The Great Commission gave the disciples instructions as to not receiving pay for there labors. Modern day pastors wanting to live WORLDLY have made it known falsely that we must cheerfully give money or tithes to the church. There would not be nearly so many competeing churches if the pastors fulfilled the truth of the Great Commission.

Thank you Daisy, this reminder is for all of us. As we eliminate our worldly possessions and hold onto our Godly gifts, we realize that these are the only things we take into our next life. Look at our man-made trinkets as trash. Only the things that are made by God are worthy.

  • Obbie Beal on Isaiah 64 - 6 years ago
The above speaks loud and clear to me. Though I was born in sin MY CREATOR blessed by allowing me to nurse and HE protected me from all the many dangers both seen and unseen. From birth-18 years GOD was there with HEALTH and STRENGTH and I unknowing did not realize EACH BREATH I took was a blessing from MY CREATOR. At 18 my creator presented the whole earth to me and I could stake my claim. Programmed with all the ways of the world but without WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING from GOD, nevertheless BLESSED by GOD because HIS promise found in John 3:16-21 was offered to me and I accepted IT. IT secured SALVATION for me thereby I shall be at THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB, Revelation 19:9.
