The old regulates people through curses and blessings. Reward n punishment Jesus lived in the old and hushered the new when He rose. Now the new is 'tougher' then the old because it encompasses your intent. Hate is as bad as murder, lusting is now adultery and break one commandment you break them all. I was possessed by demons and thought that my case was looking so hopeless that I wanted to close my eyes and be at rest but Jesus came to me and saved me. Yes I agree Shane it is what is in our Heart that Matters and this is shown in our Words and Actions Matt 25:31-46 even in our Judgement of others1Cor 2:15-16 which yes we are told to do but not with an Unloving and Condeming spirit as warned in Verses1-5 but according to God's Truth Jn7:24 We too have Sinned and caused Jesus to suffer greatly and our Abba Father who because of His Great Love for us was Seperated from His Beloved Son when Jesus bore our Sins on the Cross 1Pe2:21-25 - Is54. I never ever wanted to reject Jesus, but I struggle with my own lust the earthly attractions. There seems to be peace I go church I cry in the presence of GOD once I come out outside, all that peace gets drained out fear of sin, death, evil spirit surrounds me and I go in search of strange love and comfort through carnal affair, and make my life so miserable.

I wanted to love Jesus as there were many occasions where I felt unseen presence of God. But, my mind has never been stable, one side I have been tortured in guilt and struggling with self condemnation on the other side I want to go into the depth of the sinful pleasures to find peace. A parable is story that is used with a truth in mind The merchant represents a man who is seeking truth, the pearl represents the truth which is Gods word and we know that Jesus is the Word. When he finds this truth pearl he gives everything that's important to him for this truth. Meaning as a Christian we are to give God what's important to us, our time, money and love our very life.Thats how important Jesus the living Word should be to us.
