He is the Son of God and His only Son which He sent on this earth to die for "our" sins.
  • Daisy on Ecclesiastes 2 - 6 years ago
I think we forget that all things we have here in this world are borrowed. Nothing truly belongs to me or anyone. Once we die, we leave it all behind. We should never be attached to anything in this life. It will all soon be left behind.

Jesus never claimed to be Almighty God, creator of the Universe, but taught us to pray to Our Heavenly Father, as He prayed to His Heavenly Father in the Garden of Gethsemane. He did not pray to Himself. Of course we should adore Our Redeemer! But we should not forget to thank Our Heavenly Father for sending us His Beloved Son.

There are 160 New Testament verses in which Jesus CLEARLY distinguishes Himself from His Heavenly Father: 38 verses in Matthew, 9 in Mark, 15 in Luke, and 98 in John. There are also 121 New Testament verses in which the Apostles clearly distinguish Jesus from His Father: 3 verses in Matthew Mark, 2 in Luke, 28 in John, etc. How did we find this out? From this fantastic KJV website!

Can someone help me find verses relating to faith equal to the amount of money you give to the church? I do not remember any verses that equate faithfulness with money.

I have enough of my own sins to repent for and work hard to improve myself without spending time thinking about others. Sure, I witness every time I can about following Jesus Christ and how He has helped me to be see the error of my ways. But, I refuse to let the path of others sway me from the way which I believe to be the best for my soul.

Quite true, but unfortunately the sin has and is continuing to spread more widely throughout the world. And the worst part, society and the world are demanding and getting acceptance - casting shame and hatred upon anyone who speaks against the sin.

On the contrary, no. Paul did not said that Bishop Pastor having one wife is a fake church. He is saying that any Bishop or pastor teaches doctrine of forbidding to marry is a doctine of devil. You are misinterpreting 1 Timothy 4:3. Here is the edification. Read 1 Timothy 3 and you will realize the Truth. Bishops who teaches any doctine against marriage, or abstain from marriage is following the doctrine of devil. Besides, God created the marriage for man and woman, and should be receive with thanksgiving, not abstain from God's blessing. Blessings and love, brother.

The anointing of God, my Holy Father, teaches me all things, even thine own wicked thoughts against me and intents to prolong thy deceit against my chosen. It is God that justifies me and my judgment is just. Therefore, thine accusations against me are vain opinions of no truth. For ye are Satan's angels, witnessing falsely for filthy lucre's sake, saying thou art Christ by thine own speaking, when Christ alone preaches truth according to those things given by my Holy Father. And ye prophesy falsely, saying, When Jesus comes! When Christ returns! Yet ye secretly say Christ is come, even raised again. Ye are the WHORE sitting upon the beast that is mankind: ye are wolves in sheep's clothing.

Who was Jesus praying to? Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

Psalms 98 really speaks so me, because I was feeling discouraged today. But in the mist of what I am feeling, I must continue to sing and praise my way through. Thank you, Jesus.

  • Henry L Faulkner on Matthew 11 - 6 years ago
This passage encouraged me to write this on FB: This message is a shout-out to my children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends on FB who have shared with grace. God is in your life. Your pictures, your prayers, your request for prayer, your quotes, jokes, and pokes, as you have taken the yoke of Jesus. Matthew 11:29 All indicative of sharing God's Grace. What you dominate in life, shell --- becomes your norm. "A thought from the seat of my soul." "Let the circle be unbroken."

No, just until they die. The dead no nothing. Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward for the memory of them is forgotten.
