Fervent prayer and reading the Scripture in context. Both the Old and New Testament. The Holy Spirit, through prayer, will guide you to that knowledge. No one else can convince you one way or the other.

Hello, if you are actively following Jesus you can have faith that your sins are forgiven and you will be saved. Paul in the Bible murdered Christians, but then was converted and ended up spreading Christianity and wrote much of the New Testament books. 2 Corinthians 12:9, John 14.

See now O man: Stand fast by the repentance given thee by the grace of GOD, my Holy Father, for it is GOD'S perfect will that ye perish not. Verily, verily I say unto thee, as written in the Holy Scriptures, And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

Chapter 30 and 31. At that time GOD is forced to apply HIS wrath on HIS chosen people. HIS chosen people sought other for their help, not knowing others also are due the wrath of GOD. A repeat of yesteryear has occurred again in 2020, because Collectively the chosen ones has ran to others for help, thereby adding sin to sin. Others has already turned away from GOD. John 3:16-21 is our only HOPE.

I agree Adam that we are not Puppets we do have freedom to choose and God knows what we will choose from Eternity. But forJesus to be asking Him not to lead us down a path where Satan may Tempt us when God tells us that He does not do this. It shows a Contridication so it must be a word error in Translation and there are more than this one in the KJV but they are not to deceive like the Cults do.

Everytime I read a portion or look at a piece in the bible their is something new to see and understand at this moment in time my mind can not help to fixate on vers 18- In everything Give thanks because this is the will the God in Christ concerning us. Then because my mind was pricked with previous words it brings me to be poor in spirit, reminds to be fruitful in sharing the gospel Gods spirit.

As I shared before some say keeping athe Sabbeth is needed for Salvation yet they disobey God by having Woman Preaching in Authority over Men in their Churches. Although we are One Spiritually in Christ and there is neither Male or Female Woman are still Mens Helpmates and they not us are to be in Authority and Leadership and in Marriage Ep5 Wrong teaching comes when disobeying God.1Cor14-1Tim2:5.

Gary. S I agree with you. The true gospel is about the coming Kingdom of God, which Jesus preached. Matthew 4:23 I have read Mr. Herbert Armstrong's published books and I have enjoyed all of them.

It sounds you're interpreting Matthew 6:13 as God being the one tempting you, but that isn't the case. It says 'lead us not', it doesn't say 'tempt us not'. God can lead or offer a direction for you, but its up to you using your freewill to choose it. This prayer by Jesus is asking God not to lead us down a path where Satan may tempt us. This is not a translation error as you suggest.

  • Thanks Adam on Psalms 41 - 6 years ago
Adam I do agree with your understanding of James1:13 God tells us He does not lead any of us into Temptation but by the wording in The Lords Prayer Matt6:9 Jesus is telling us to ask God not to lead us into TemptationV9 So why the Contridiction it must be someones Translation error Jesus would not tell us to Pray for what God tells us is not True. My Heart agrees and no doubt yours does too Adam

  • Confirm with Scripture - In Reply - 6 years ago
True there is no Time in Heaven or Age in Eternity but God set in place time on Earth. Morning and Night 1day. So my question is what day did He Start Creating and where is it Confirmed in Scripture that the Sabbeth as you said is Friday Sundown to Saturday Sundown, if this is True than it will be recorded in Scripture as are all other important Happenings such as Christmas, Easter, The Passover.
  • Gary Stowerwws on Matthew 24 - 6 years ago
Professing Christianity has been preaching their version of a gospel message throughout this world since Christ was here in the flesh 2000 years ago. The true gospel is of the coming Kingdom of God to which true Christians can be born into by a second birth, that is a Spiritual birth. This real gospel that Christ preached has been published to the world by Herbert W. Armstrong in this end age.
