Ephesians 5:22-33 These scriptures are great for both husband and wife. A wife is subject to her husband, not as a door mat but as a vessel. Think of it this way, Jesus loved the world so much that he died for it, so a husband should should die out to worldly wants to care for his wife. Also a wife is no longer her own, meaning that he wants and desire should be to please her husband.

I agree with Bruce. Yeshua is the Hebrew translation of Jesus. I don't know where the lady got the information that it is the name of a pagan god. It is also translated as Joshua or Yehoshua. There are Jews who believe in Jesus and refer to Him as Yeshua Ha Mashiach meaning Jesus the Messiah. May His name be exalted and blessed for evermore.

I dont know how old you are but I am an elderly 72 Christian and lay minister who has a really good knowledge 50 years of studying scriptures. You cannot take one verse and create a whole doctrine based on it. Isaiah 28:10 . But if that makes you happy, who am I to question or be a stumbling block to your faith.

I don't think that GOD actually wrote the Bible but HE did inspire others to do so and thus we have several countries and religions including the Islam religion and Christians believing in one GOD GOD is good and by nature we probably also know what is good. Obviously however some preachers do not know what is good as many have abused children, etc... Such evils needs to stop of course

All the countries of the world will be against Israel. The AntiChrist will come from the old Roman Empire, probably. Gog and Magog China and Russia and of course the entire middle east, but nobody will defeat Israel. America is not mentioned in the end times so we may have been nuked to some degree. The olive tree analogy is speaking only of Israel and Gentiles who became part of Israel. That has to be the case since the body of Christ never had or has conditional salvation, but Israel did. To truly understand this chapter one has to know all the rest of Paul's epistles. Israel, the body of Christ and the little flock of faithful Jews are separate entities.

2R The people you teach are free to look for themselves 2 heads are better than 1, etc. We are not perfect, don't know all. They'll understand. I like these Discussions as I learn from them but I don't read much from Books for several sorts of personal reasons as I have a few health issues even being a senior can contribute. Nita, Your tithing is between you and God. When we go to church we are entering the Lord's house it is Holy so when you tithe it should be form your heart and God will bless you. If the church leaders use tithe money for any reason than holy reasons then God will deal with who does this , but not you. I hope this helps.
