I always wondered about these also. Cain brought to God first of the fruits of the ground. Did he bring the worse of his fruits. Rotting apples maybe? Kept the good stuff back? I was born on a farm and feel for Cain. I guess I just have to trust in God here but wish He explained it better so I could understand.

8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden and there he put the man whom he had formed. Eastward from where? So Adam was not made in Eden, but from the west of Eden.

Yes Hezekiah did do the wrong thing, but not what you think,ISAIAH was upset because he told the enemy who the true creator was,all his house all his ritchers was the knowledge of the Father and that knowledge would be hidden from future generations by the king of Babylon, don't cast you pearls before swine

Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost is the same thing. All that are saved has the Holy Ghost. It's that thing inside you that tells you when you did something wrong. And if you confess your sin , He will forgive you.

We meet again. Very well said. Your words are encouraging. I lean on the Lord for strength, whether it is written, through praying, or just talking to him. I pray for the evil people because their souls are in the hands of the devil.

  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly - In Reply on John 5 - 7 years ago
Jesus said it over and over again he was a weakling without the spirit of God his Father in him. How Christans can mess that up and pervert his words is beyond me. When man are blind they are blind to the word. John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Angels are Angels, They are not created in the image of God,Only mAN IS.Angels are created beings period.Jesus IS NOT a created being!Read john 1:1-4.You have too believe God rather than Man.If Michael became Jesus than after his death became Michael again, how does Michael and Jesus exist at the same time?Jesus sits at the right hand of His Father from whom read phil.2:6-11,Col.1:15-17 many more
  • Kathy - In Reply on John 5 - 7 years ago
God is a spirit John 4:24,the spirit of God is inside Jesus, thats why he could not do miracles without God the Father in Him,He is referring thats why he cannot do nothing with the Father.

From Matt 12:31 In short, ascribing a clear work of God to Satan. Specifically, it is directed against the Jews at that time, God's Covenant people, who refused to see Jesus as the Messiah and refused to recognize the New Covenant called in Matt 12:32 "the world to come" . A glorious time when, with the resurrection ascension of our Lord the "stong man" is bound and his house spoiled v 29

Michael stands for Jesus. Lucifer or devil as we know wanted to be like God,to take His place so Jesus and His angels cast him down to earth with 1 3 of angels. Michael Jesus who was in heaven from the beginning came down to save the lost world. He was literally the Male child born by the woman was caught up to heaven. Now devil turned vented his anger against the church of Jesus for 1260yrs.

Romans 4 :14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: People say the bible contradicts itself but it doesn't , it just addresses different things that ppl try to merge together. When talking of salvation its free thru faith. But rewards in heaven and disicplship are thru obedience. Separate situations with separate outcomes.

Romans 4 :3-5 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

The purpose of 1 John on is for fellowship. Know here is not to acknowledge or know personally. Think of it this way: a person can have a mom but not know her initmately. Or a man who divorces his wife and says"I never knew her". Of course they know them but they have no intimate relationship with them or understand them. And as both cases when we dont know God as well as we should we lose joy

Remember each book is a letter with its own main theme. Don't just look at the chapters but the whole book. Why did John say he was writing this: 1 John 1" 3 that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full"

Does anyone have any idea of what "the king of the south" and "the king of the north" implies in Daniel 11? I've been a student of the Scriptures for 30 years and have always been stumped by it!
  • Jackie on Psalms 127 - 7 years ago
The Lord was with David and he will be with us if trust in him with all of our heart.David was a man that sinned but knew that God was a just Lord and if he asked the Lord to for give he would because he loves him!
  • Paul Douglas - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
..like grace to pay a bill - grace is time between either your death, or the end of the earth to have as much faith as possible that will lead to being a righteous person before judgement, which will occur 7 days after the end of earth as it is today. ..again james 2:20-22. You can't know God unless you do his commandments!!!!! 1 John 2:3.

I agree with your post and also wonder if foundations of sand could be religious views or areas in our lives that we withhold from the potter and so these areas create weakness in the foundation of our spiritual house?
  • Paul Douglas - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
You have to have faith which will lead to true works. Without eventual works, you have no true righteousness.. James 2:20-22.
