I love this chapter it shows such spiritual guidance how we should live our lives as Christians.

@Irene123 I believe Reginald was referring to verse 3 above that said And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

L.D. what i think Abraham is saying is, Abraham and Sarah have the same father meaning God. Abraham sees Sarah as a daughter of God. although there are many times people done mistakes and wasn't part of Gods plan. So, they could still be half brother and sister.

Ive reading this chapter almost every day.Encourging myself dealing with people in my life. It gives me comfort knowing his word do not lie. How long Lord will the enemy be. Spreading himself like a wild flower. I need much prayer in these difficult times in my life, dealing with my church and my job. Pray much for me.

We see the Love of GOD for us even when GOD chastise. He is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise! Wow!, Wow!,Wow!

Tyrus appears almost identical to the beautiful whore (ridding the beast) found in the book of Revelation.. especially after considering the reason God's wrath is applied to each of them. 2018 may 'get-by' for a second (because of God's Mercy) but 2018 will not get-away. Wow! Wow! Wow!

This action of GOD (where applicable) runs from 'Genesis to Revelation' when needed... therefore in 2018 the whole earth is again 'ripen and ready' for this same action of GOD. Thank God For Salvation through Blood of Jesus. Wow! Wow! Wow!

Solomon truly said there is nothing new under the sun. Is verse 14 not the TRUTH!?!?! If you try to stick to your moral standards and live the life of a christian, you will be treated as something wicked. Yet, those who practice wicked things are celebrated. How is it that entertainers that are immoral get more attention than, causes that are for the benefit of all people. ( Charities)

Many people are looking for comfort and relief, but they do so based off their own reasoning. Some turn to drugs, worldly wisdom, and self help books. However, vs. 20 highlights the best source of comfort, from Jehovah God himself. He is loyal and guards those who are loyal to him. While this doesn't mean we will never have a problem, we will ALWAYS have help to endure the problem.

1 Corinthians 7:27-28, "Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned."
1 Corinthians 7:15, "But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases." What could be more of a bondage than telling someone they can't get married when they have passions like Elijah and us ( James 5:17)? See also 1 Cor. 7:9

Vs. 6 highlights how turning away from God bring calamity upon us. Without Jehovah's protection we are exposed to all of Satan's influence. Vs. 7 highlights how when we decided to follow our own way instead of God's wise counsel, we ultimately bring calamity upon our own head.Sometimes the trials we experience are because of our own doing.

Many people have their own ideas of what is acceptable to God, but he has made it very clear what is acceptable to him. If you are not following God's commands, then you are not with God. Plain and simple. However, to suit their own interest, people have twisted the scriptures to make their own wicked behavior permissible in their own eyes. Truly Sad.

Wow ! Wow! Wow! to me this sound like every nation of the whole world in 2018.

Simply put, The Holy Spirit will Teach and Guide us as We Read, Study and Show The Way of Salvation to a lost and Dying World.

teachings of Paul: I want to reflect that the newness in Jesus Christ and therefore a new walk in spiritual life in Christ is not of any 101 or 102 to other advanced level of school of thoughts, approaches, methods or superior principles in being Christian; these are one of the mechanicals of why and how; let spirit talk in Jesus Christ...

vs 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

vs 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

I think it's a beautiful encouraging passage. YOU have to know God in order to "mount up as wings of eagles..." I want to see His face in peace and hear Him say, "Well done they good and faithful servant..." I LOVE THE LORD SO MUCH! HE HAS WATCHED OVER ME WHEN I HAD BACKSLIDDEN AND COULD HAVE BEEN CUT OFF IN MY SINS. YOU AND I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO WAIT ON THE LORD IF WE BELIEVE IN HIM! AMEN
