Jesus was angry because the people were buying and selling. The same thing is still happening in our days. As Christians, we should stop selling holy water, anointing oil and preaching that makes people jump from their seats. These transactions in the house of God do not promote anything spiritually to us. We should allow the temple of God to serve its intended purpose.

I have read some of the comments, and how easy that Satan confuses us, and the bible tells us that we have ALL come short of the glory of God, that is why he had Jesus to come, so that we may be saved, the devil is telling us that a lot of things are good for us but in actuality it is taking us further from God, our mind and heart must be disciplined to study God's word.
  • Lucy on Malachi 3 - 8 years ago
I understand now why a lot of people are poor, including myself, when God bless us because we are doing his will, the spirit comes that we are doing it, and not the spirit of God. Regardless of how we feel about the churches we need to pay our tithes and let God be the judge between you and them. Read Proverbs 10, and keep believing.

The thing it's saying to me print God's word in our hearts buy our ear hearing and speaking of God's words in knowledge and wisdom that hear and listen to his words and we print them in our hearts and that a wicked person will be cut out of God's kingdom they will not inherit his kingdom and they will be cut off from God's kingdom and left on the ground meaning they will be left to die and cast

Sounds like the economy of God is different than mans. It is about giving, literally redistributing to the work God is doing. God knows best, and his angels celebrate when fruit is evident, in the church and individually. Praise God for all he and Jesus provide, for us to multiply his goodwill. Amen.

A Christian who understands that Christ lives in him from the very first day he became born again, should not be limited by anything. Because the spiritual controls the physical world and he sits with Christ in the heavenly places far above all principalities, powers, constraints etc and nothing shall by any means be impossible for him that believe this...

Thank you Holy Spirit for leading me to Isaiah 9; I want to know you so much more, my Lord and God. I am a mere human, that your thoughts towards me i cannot even begin to fathom. You alone are God most High, the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Continue to open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you more and more.
  • Jane Benson on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
This has always been my prayer for protection. Once my son was gone for the week-end. I found out he wasn't with the friend he said he was going to be with. That friend told me where he was. I'm not going into that story ! I sat down right then with the Bible and prayed Psalms 91. I PROMISE you, right as I said "Amen", I heard a car come into the driveway and heard a door slam. Him, safe.

Like so many of us that have been blessed and refuse to acknowledge the poor, abused, and oppressed. Your pride will make the Lord a base you. If your truly a child of God!
  • Ron on Revelation 21 - 8 years ago
Hi Linda,. 144,000 is not literal, 12 x 12 is the number for the church or spiritual Israel, Jews and Gentiles, (the "new Jerusalem") the dead know nothing and wait in the grave like Lazarus did, (not heaven) for Christ's return to be "called" (resurrected). I agree God will not torture the unsaved in "hell". The second death (by fire) will consume them within seconds and sin will be gone forever.
  • Royce on Isaiah 51 - 8 years ago
    powerfull chapter, praise GOD
  • Paul Schenck on Mark 11 - 8 years ago
The Lord came into Peace (Jerusalem) and saw all that was, retired to Bethany home to Simon Mary and Lazareth, returning hungy, curses a fig, cleanses a temple and declares to the 12 Faith and forgiveness the avenue of answered prayer. And the proper response to a challenge to authority is to ascertain orientation of faith before an answer is offered.
  • Linda Morgan on Revelation 21 - 8 years ago
I believe that only 144.000 ( little flock) go to heaven and we will be in a death sleep. Until Jesus shouts " come out " at the time of the new paradise on earth. GOD wanted us all to live in a earthly paradise like Adam and Eve had. He wouldn't send us to heaven then send us back to earth. It's all in the bible.and he would not send people to a burning he'll. They will just die or stay dead.

We want to present ourselves as a living sacrifice to Jehovah God. We should strive to live each day according to his ways and standards and we want to be as holy as we can be in imitation of God.

the "weapon" is talking about the "waster"... what is the point of these comments?
  • Mark on Acts 17 - 8 years ago
Question on Acts 17:3. Why does it say rise "again"? The KJV and NKJV are the only translations to say "again".

Was there a way the word "again" was used back then that allows it to fit in this sentence?

    Thanks,. Mark
