Verse 8~Zacchaeus showed that he was truly repentant by trying his back to right the wrong he had committed. True repentance involves us not only changing our thinking but also trying to correct any wrongs if we can.

Let your light so shine before men so that they me see God's good work in you. Our responsibility as Christian we need to give lights to others so that through us they can see God's light. Jesus is only light of the world to walk with him we can no longer see darkness in our life amen

Verse 36~Jesus did not deny being a king because he is a king. He let Pilate know that he was king of a heavenly Kingdom.
  • George W Kinerson on Isaiah 18 - 7 years ago

ethiopia being fringe of civilization in Isaiah's time. Isaiah was talking about a nation beyond civilization, beyond an ocean, beyond an ocean doesn't fit any nation in Africa. Isaiah used the word Ethiopia explaining beyond civilization and then adds beyond a sea. A strong people from their beginning, and whole world sees and hears everything they do, surely could be America.

Verse 21~When Jesus was put to death his disciples were disappointed because they expected him to set up an earthly Kingdom. God's Kingdom is a heavenly Kingdom and so Jesus fulfilled prophecy by being put to death and resurrected to the heavens.

We should let our fine conduct and good actions show so that all can see. If we imitate God to the best of our ability and others see this, they can give praise to God and we can glorify him by our actions.

there's a pattern in many of these chapters(especially involving david) David is very objective when hearing a tale about "someone else's foibles" and is able to readily dispense wisdom when the matter doesn't appear to relate to him directly. Afterwards the talebearer turns around and points the finger back at David(remember Bathsheeba and the lamb analogy). David at least shows repentance.

Because Christ is not here on earth in the flesh ,We who saved are the light of Jesus Christ in the world .The light the world sees is the light of Jesus in our lives.
  • TE. on Genesis 16 - 7 years ago
Really. It is true. When God' favour is upon us, we need not despise other people because God can remove that fovour from us. but because He is a mercyfull God, He didn't do that to Hagar.

We also need to wait upon the Lord and be still before Him.

It reminds me daily just how great Gods love is, 17: The sacrifice of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, oh God thou will not desipes. We all have sin, an when we call upon the Father with pure heart, he wont desert us, Amen!

And Zachariah 12 introduces the current Prime-Minister Benjamin Nathan-Yahu as the fulfiller of I Samuel 23:17 where Jo-Nathan was expected to takeover Israel Kingship after King David of which this never came to pass. Benjamin with the Nathan name.

the gospel was preached but it didn't do them any good because they didn't have faith in the Word. It's impossible to please God without faith...because the just shall live by faith in God's Word. We get faith by hearing God's Word and choosing to believe what it says and applying it to our everyday life. Then we can rest in knowing that He hears our heart's cry and will answer. God is faithful!

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie"
Since it is impossible for God to lie, God sends them a delusion and the antichrist gives them the lie, using the delusion to convince people of the lie.

The Sons of God could not be the SETH line
Because they got wiped out in the flood! Only 8 survived?! Why didnt all the Sons of God survive?! They were a part of a Transhuman race called: Nephilim! So God wiped them out. Noah and his Sons and wives did not patticipate in this type of cohabitation thus Noah Found Grace in the eyes of the Lord! Its not difficult to understand: the Virgin Birth?!
  • Bill G on Psalms 100 - 7 years ago

  • Ann Hering on Revelation 1 - 7 years ago
The Revelation is a Jewish Book about the Jewish 7 churches going through the Tribulation, The Time of Jacob’s Trouble. Israel did not believe Jesus Christ was The Messiah when He came the 1st Time, but they WILL believe the 2nd Time He Comes! The 4 Horsemen are Angels, the locusts are fallen angels, and this sets the stage for Jesus Christ to defeat Satan and become The King of everything!
