Avery powerful message in this text. I like the way it reiterates the fact that we are created by God. In a sense that lets us know that he is proud of hi creation. Also that we should proud of what God has created, not only in ourselves, but in every creature. We should also be excited about following his instructions, so that we wind uo where he has ordained us to be.

This speaks of the house of the LORD which was finally completed by King Solomon for the Israelites and for the LORD to dwell with his people. Under King David there was too much warfare in the land to build this kingdom. The LORD promised David that his son would build the house. This is the fulfillment of that promise. But what we fail to understand is, this all happens within us. This is truth.

Unless the Bible later states otherwise, just keep it simple and stick to what scriptures say. At this point, many people start assuming so many things in the Bible that are not necessarily there. UNLESS BIBLE CLARIFIES LATER, DON'T ASSUME. be careful when listening to assumptions

It's sad that there are people that do not believe God's Word. I am grieved. These are not the words of men but inspiration inspired by God's Holy Spirit. Read this psalm everyday for 30 days and dwell on it. Bask in his word like it is sunlight. Then, taste and see the goodness of The Lord.
  • Lou on Psalms 59 - 8 years ago
It is good to take comfort in these words daily. For God's Word is the Bread of nourishment for us. But too remember, though David said them, so too do they point to Christ's time here on earth. Did the soldiers of the temple come seeking is arrest at night make noise like dogs throughout the city? Yes, but Christ, though taken, beaten and killed...became The Victor! Thank God for this.
