And don't forget Matt. 28:19, where Jesus, Himself, states in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, in the name of the Holy Ghost. We must not let those, trying to fit the scriptures into their theology, steal our joy in the Lord. Jesus, himself, said Take heed that no man deceives you. Rejoice in your salvation, the joy of freedom from sin. Romans 6. A great time to be Christian!!!

Obie, HOW TRUE! JOHN 3:16. The Holy Father gave His Son, a gift to us, for our salvation. A gift is free. And for all of us to receive and enjoy forever. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved. Thank you Heavenly Father for saving us through your most Holy Son, Jesus Christ.

I 1st read this verse in NKJV Bible where love is used not charity. Reading the KJV I found it very confusing. I researched further to find that the word came from agape which means more of unconditional love. I think the two words together would make a better translation. When reading how it says charity it makes me think of Jesus preaching in Mathew 7:22-23 how works won't get you into heaven.

With respect to the Holy Words of GOD. When children obey their parents, then they will grow up learning to obey GOD. Being strong in the Lord

There is no temptation that we will face that has not been faced by someone before or is being faced by someone. God is able to help us successfully overcome temptation if we look to Him for strength and support.

Yep! Satan is fried from within to out. That's blotted out Ezekiel 28:18,19. He is sentence to death and is the son of perdition death! Only person who is sentence to die. There will be a lot of fallen angels that die at the 7th trump but they just drop dead. Now for the rest of the folks that are on the other side they will be blotted out at the Great White Throne Judgment at the end.

Wow! The term Israel is use for the circumcised heart, its use for those people who are obedient to Christ.
Also, the Gentiles are a people who don't know God and do serve the devil through lack of knowledge, religion, or free will. So when a person turn to Christ they are no longer A gentile, but become part of Israel.

    Wow thank you, Holy Spirit.

When we read and study the Bible it deepens our appreciation for Jehovah’s endearing ways, causing us to love him even more. And when our love for God grows, his love for us intensifies.

This Psalm has been a source of comfort and strength to me for years. I read it daily for the year my son went to war. I thank God daily for His gracious providence. Strangely, it was quoted to me by an older sister/friend who doesn't attend mainstream church. Thank God for this great Psalm "I will say of the Lord, He IS my refuge and my fortress" Thank you God.

    PTL to all.
It is a privilege to know that when we remain in secret place of GOD's mercy, we are sure of our protection. We should endeavor to make JESUS priority in our lives always, praying always, when we are having good times, not only when we experience tribulations. JESUS desires us to seek Him and remain with Him, in order to gain Everlasting Life.

God is Faithful to those who diligently seeking him He gave Jesus to us so that you and me must have life in abundance God is faithful to his words and have given us his own faith to overcome in doing evil. Without his faith its impossible to please him. We cannot serve God and Man neither sitting at God's table and devil's table.Jesus and his words is our life we must give thanks to his blood amn

To me this verse shows us how to be humble, and obedient, in honoring God with sincerity, doing what God's word says do, not seeking the attention of man. Obedience.

123,the Father is greater than the son. V.28. Also, the Sons throne is in the Father's throne. Is the Father "beside Himself"?

V.9- The long suffering of the Lord is accounted to our salvation. Not willing any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Paul, and Christ in His spiritual body, after resurrection, could be here or there, surpassing all physical restrictions. Absolutely amazing and wonderful! God Bless.!
  • Wayne on 2 Peter 3 - 9 years ago
Paul, another amazing thing, like timelessness with God, is Elijah being received up, in the flesh. Passing from this physical world, with all its restrictions. Leaving this atmosphere to pass to Paradise. What a transfer! Leaves me thinking. With God all things are possible. And Enoch was not found. Another direct transfer Home!
  • Wayne on 1 John 5 - 9 years ago
Irene, you are forgiven. We must not be caught up in the reasoning and thinking of the world, which is enmity with God. Thinking in genders, and stiving to figure which one is or is not, has nothing to do with The Church. That's of the flesh. God is a spirit, and we live and worship Him in spirit. John 4.

Some are thankful for the Sabbath days. A day to rest, worship, not work, as the Jews, who are prospering in the love of The Lord. God's people in the land of God's Holy City. May we all study and understand the blessings of The Sabbath Days.
  • Wayne on Matthew 28 - 9 years ago
There is one God, Father, Son ,Holy Ghost, The Trinity, v. 19. Pretty plain. It states in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I n the name of, with which some struggle, redundant to put in the name of for each person of the God Head. Anyone understanding english knows that only one "in the name of" is needed to include all three beings of the God Head. Struggle at a knat, swallow the camel.

I love this psalm so much that I have been reading it almost every day. Could recite the whole thing now.
  • A disciple on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
Linda Carol; when I was in a place like you're describing; that day of real and lasting conversion came without fanfare, or any emotional embellishments. I had for a very long time known and been convicted; and many attempts by churchy methods failed quickly. I can only thank and praise the Lord that He even accepted me, and allowed me to come back to Him. Jesus is ALL to me; and NO GOING BACK!
  • Lilian on Acts 18 - 9 years ago
God is giving as his own faith to us as a GIFT TO UNDERSTAND AND OBEY HIS MESSAGE HE NEVER GIVES US ANY RISKS GOD'S GRACE AND HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOREVER. FAITH COMES ONLY BY HEARING THE WORDS OF GOD. LET'S PRAISE AND THANKS JESUS FOR THE BLOOD
  • A disciple on Colossians 3 - 9 years ago
"Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." The heathen spirit that reigns over the hearts and minds of men, is what's behind all their "philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." If we were of this world then we would love the same things the world loves, and live by its spirits. But we seek another world!
  • A disciple on Psalms 4 - 9 years ago
"O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him." David was mightily filled with the Holy Spirit from the day that Samuel anointed him and walked with a perfect heart all his days. He was a light from God for Israel.
  • Linda Carol Short on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
That 1st verse is our answers to everything we go through/our faith in Him! "If we only would set a time/place=(secret place) and dwell (talk/pray/read His word)with Him and just have faith in Him-like we did when He first saved us. Back then we wasn't worried about nothing and He showed us miracles too. I'm tired of riding this same roller coaster wandering what is really going on with me!
