God is amazing in His patience. He knew Jehu even before he was born, and yet because God gives us freewill He gives us every chance, He's not a dictator. Dirk for verse 11 I believe being baptized is being clean. It's considered washed in the blood. Being baptized also comes the responsibility of being a Christian and living a Christian life. Repent and turn from evilness. It is a commitment and a way of life. Whew, it's tough sometimes BUT SO WELL WORTH IT!

To Ron. It seems to me Jesus would have been a clean body he was baptized. John Baptized him So I would say he was clean and anybody that touched him was baptized as well. And also considered clean. But in this part of the Bible Jesus wasn't here yet. So I think being sprinkled with the water was a type of baptizing along with the burnt offerings and such.
