V.27 - the '7th' day is this AGE of Grace; it's open-ended- so ALL can be saved (but won't). The 7thday will CLOSE at the Rapture - when this day of Grace has ended.

NO WHERE does God/Jesus say not to read ANYTHING but His very word, the Bible. To read good commentaries is a blessing from God; His spirit moves on men He can trust to write about His word in truth; this writing isn't just their own idea.

To anyone that may be confused about reading a commentary about the Bible - such as Matthew Henry's Bible commentaries which are on here (at the top of each pg. along with 'comments') - a commentary is using WISDOM in reading it - and God BLESSES wisdom. As with the Bible - we should pray for His wisdom in reading it. There are many other 'modern' commentaries online.

Dave:--- And they that were crucified with Him reviled Him. Mark 15:32/ the thief on the cross has a repentant heart,he knows Christ is innocent and believes, his mind and heart is unshackled: and he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou cometh into Thy Kingdom. • Irene123 on Matthew 24 - 9 years ago
The Spirit (Holy Ghost) of Jesus (God) is in one IF - they have followed Acts2:38. They are - ONE, not separate. It's His spirit in us that He will 'quicken' at the Rapture; He will draw His saints to Him just as an electro magnet, when turned on, draws. His Spirit will draw those with His Spirit to His Spirit.
  • Irene123 on Matthew 23 - 9 years ago
    v. 9 - Jesus here is speaking of pastors, preachers, ministers of Christ, of which some are referred to as - 'father'. He's NOT referring to our earthly fathers who sired us. Isa. 1:18, "Come now, let us REASON together, ..... "; The Lord Jesus isn't unreasonable; He's appealing to our common sense.
  • Irene123 on Matthew 21 - 9 years ago
    V. 22- song, "Just have a little Talk With Jesus, tell Him all about our troubles, He will hear you when you cry, He will answer by 'n by ...............; I love that chorus. A visiting Pastor, Jerry Jones, sang this part of it during his message one Sunday a couple months ago. Every time I think of the song, I hear him singing it. What a great Pastor/author he is.

  • Dewey J on Acts 28 - 9 years ago
To all Acts has no ending because the apostles and saints continued to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Many going in different directions. Lastly we find St. John 90 plus years old banished on the island of Patmos writing the revelation of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God in the highest!

    Ask God:

He said "for everyone who asks receives." Matthew 7:8

Expect God to answer you and you may be in for a surprise. God answers those who are sincere.

To those who love Jesus the Lord:

In the measure that man loves the Lord and is willing to humble himself, fear, seek and obey God, God will reveal Himself to man.

Jeremiah 29:13 "and you will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

---We are sanctified through the offering of The Body of Jesus Christ once for all.--- After He Offered One Sacrifice for Sins forever, sat down on The Right Hand of God: Hebrews 10:10-12 / Neither is there Salvation in any there:for there is none other Name under Heaven given among men whereby We must be Saved. Acts 4:12 / Only by His Blood We are Saved. He is The only Door. / John 6:44
  • Irene123 on Acts 2 - 9 years ago
    V. 44 - "And ALL that were TOGETHER, and had ALL things common." They had ALL just recently been baptized in the name of Jesus and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. All things included Acts 2:28. And they went and witnessed to others of the same salvation - Acts 2:38, BECAUSE they ALL believed the same. There is not ONE instance in scripture where the words of Matt. 28:19 were used, not one.

Mark 16:9-20 nor 1john5:7-8 nor John 7:53 and 8:10 in original koine Greek NT scripture and was added in by roman church. Erasmus and Martin Luther knew this...yet KJV maintains this? Why...

Chapter 2:2 is important verse for those who spreading the gospel, precious stone is found ,do not necessarily need to use all the mining tools to recover it again , but we can enjoy among believers by studying the scriptures origins.
    Please read 1 peter ch: 2: 10~ 12. . God bless you.
  • Irene123 on John 19 - 9 years ago
    V. 26 - in the back 'comments' pg. it has been noted that the disciple whom Jesus loved was - somebody's - nephew. This is what is meant by - "wrest - to their destruction"
  • Irene123 on John 19 - 9 years ago
People just don't understand about Sun. worship: it's not a DAY we worship, it's the PRACTILITY of Sunday: a LOT of people don't work at their jobs on Sun. Phariseeism, narrow mindedness, self-righteousness. Sunday is just common sense. Saturday is fine with us for folks who worship on that day; it's not the day one worships, it's WHO. Outside of the cup is beautiful, but ........

    V. 23 - " ... that they may be made perfect in ONE ..."; In ONE, "I and my Father are - ONE.
  • Irene123 on John 17 - 9 years ago
    V. 11 - " ,,, keep through thine own NAME ..."; another prophesy Of Acts 2:38; there is POWER in the name of Jesus!! - to keep us in our walk with Him.
  • Irene123 on John 16 - 9 years ago
    V. 2 - " ,,, he that killeth you will think he doeth God service." Acts 9:1-2.
  • Irene123 on John 12 - 9 years ago
Vs. 1-2; are another prophesy of Acts 2:38; "... raised from the dead ..."; "... sat at table with Him." To sit at table with Jesus is to join together ( Heb. 10:25) and 'eat' of God's Word.
  • Irene123 on John 11 - 9 years ago
    V. 10 - is yet another prophesy of Acts 2:38 - the receiving of the 'light' (Holy Ghost, after being baptized using the NAME of Jesus); altho' it is common to receive His spirit before water baptism, but water baptism has to be in there.
  • Davida Roberts on Isaiah 1 - 9 years ago
I believe America is just as wicked today ... as it was back then in that time and I do believe we have the same God. and America had better change or suffer the same conquences as Sodom and gomorrah... That's what I think.
  • Irene123 on John 10 - 9 years ago
    V. 9 - " ..... by me if any man enter in ..... "; by ME - Jesus; another prophesy of Acts 2:38.
  • Irene123 on John 9 - 9 years ago
David - not everyone learns at the same speed. God knows this for He created us. Jesus sought this man out because He knew this of him and also KNEW he would - believe - given just one more sentence of teaching.
  • Irene123 on John 9 - 9 years ago
V.7 is a prophesy of Acts2:38. When we are washed in the pool (baptistery, by immersion, (using the NAME of Jesus) and receive the Holy Ghost, the Spirit (Holy Ghost) then opens our eyes to the truth of His Word.
  • Irene123 on John 8 - 9 years ago
    V. 1 - Mount Olivet was so important in Jesus' day - and in O.T. times. It was a central geographical place in God's Word. 2 Sam. 15:30; 1 Kgs. 11:7-8; 2 Kgs. 23:13-14; Eze. 11:22:23; Neh. 8:15; N.T. - Lk. 22:39; Matt. 24:1-51; Lk. 19:28-44; 21:37; 22:39-46; Acts 1:1-12; in the future - Matt. 24:30-31; Zech. 14:4. Just to understand it's importance, these are well worth reading.
  • Irene123 on John 5 - 9 years ago
Rom. 11:26 - As far as Israel being or not being saved, Paul very plainly says they will be. But this is after the Rapture when Jesus turns again to the Jews, and after the trib.; It will be during His millennial reign - and THEN after that- the GREAT WHITE THRONE judgment, and then - ETERNITY.
  • Irene123 on John 5 - 9 years ago
Rom. 11:1-5; God has not cast the Jews away; He's only 'set them aside' until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in (the Rapture). Even now any Jew can turn to Jesus in truth - Jesus' truth, the Word of God, not man's word.
