As humans, its natural to feel apprehensive when it comes to bad situations in life because we're living in the flesh, maintain your faith in God at these times, also at these times make your faith stronger and God will fill you with the spirit and dissolve the flesh.

To Netlace - You have done the same thing you have said I did. Nothing in Gen. says the 'wine' from the ark. It says nothing about 'wine' - fermented or not and nothing about grapes. How do you know there was wine on the ark? This is just an observation; no judging; please believe that.

We have to trust in the Lord and not waver in the faith. Lord I don't see with my natural eye but by faith mountain be thou removed. We are conquers through Christ Jesus that strengthens me

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

There are two feasts in Ezekiel 39 on the dead bodies. The first is on Gog's army, in Ezekiel 39:4. Then the cleanup of the land, and followed by 7 years.

The 7 years are the 70th week of Daniel 9, which ends with the Jesus's return and his judgement on those armies gathered together to fight him, Rev 19:19.

That Armageddon feast is in Ezekiel 39:17-20.

One of the greatest proofs that John was saying that Jesus is the God the Jews were looking for is Zechariah 13:10-11 where Jehovah God says of himself, "They will look on ME whom they have pierced and mourn for ME as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for Me as for a firstborn son who has died. And this did happen when God as Jesus died that fateful day outside Jerusalem.

    To Dominic B. - God is ONE. Deut. 4:39; 6:4; Isa. 42:8; 43:11; 44:6,8; 45:5-6, 21,22; 46:9; 47:8,10.
Jesus IS God - MANIFEST in the flesh, John 1:14 ( John 1:1 - and the word was God) 1 Tim. 3:16. Acts 2:38 shows God's NAME (Matt.28:19) is Jesus; not 'father, son and holy ghost'; those 3 were God's attributes; as a man is son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, whatever a man is.

To MPHATSO - CORRECTION - Acts ch. 2 is where the CHUCH of Jesus Christ began .............
  • Irene123 on Titus 3 - 9 years ago
To MPHATSO - the 'more' you need is - ACTS 2:37-38. If you need more than this - then you're out of luck.
Acts chapter 2 is where the of Jesus Christ began; chapter 2 is the very 1st message preached in the church. All the books hat follow are to ALREADY established churches; they are instructions on what GOD (not man) expects of His people. There is an ORDER to God's word; it's not hit or miss.

To AIM CONT. - Anna never 'led' anybody; but she was ever so faithful to pray for leaders, and for the redemption of Israel. A woman is a FORCE when it comes to prayer!!! The N.T. tells us we have POWER on us because we submit to God; we have power with God in prayer.
  • Irene123 on 1 Timothy 1 - 9 years ago
To AIM - Jer. 35:19; Eze. 22:30; God is not unreasonable; we can reason with him. Deborah was chosen because there was no man to stand in the gap, but God's preference was for a man. Deborah was a PROPHETESS, like Anna of Luke. In Judges 4:6 Deborah rebukes Barak, the armies leader for not doing God's will. So God told her to go with him - if that was the only way He could get His will done.

To Breeze - THANK-YOU so much for pointing out the scripture on pastors, bishops are to have one wife. I've known women weren't to usurp authority, but hadn't noticed this scripture. It makes it so OBVIOUS!!
Pastors, etc. ".....are to have one WIFE;" not pastors, etc. are to have one HUSBAND. I can't thank you enough for knowing who Jesus is.

To Michael Bucella on vs. 14,15,16,; :......have I been so long with you and ye say, 'shew us the Father'?
    That's in Matt. somewhere.

V.8 - bodily exercise does profit little - when compared to spiritual exercise. But - the bodily DOES profit while here on earth , especially for those with diabetes, arthritis, overweight, heart problems, etc. So we do not want to use this verse as an 'excuse'; God does expect us to help ourselves and He will pick up the 'slack', or rather that which is lacking in our efforts.
  • Irene123 on 1 Timothy 3 - 9 years ago
    V. 16 clarifies V. 9, it 'unveils' the mystery to all - GOD (a spirit) was manifest (made to be SEEN; we can't see a spirit)

To Jane on 1 Cor, 15:1-4 - Acts was the beginning of the church (Acts ch. 2). Everything after Acts was written to ALREADY established churches, they were already saved. The ONLY plan of salvation is Acts 2:38. 1 Cor. 15:v.1 - .....which also ye have RECIEVED (past tense) wherein ye also stand. They are now 'standing' in their salvation.

    Greeting,
This Ephesian church is where the first disciples used to assemble. They were the apostles, spiritual men, real saints, however they left their first love by mingling with Roman, Jews in their assembly. One example of that is the deeds of the Nicolaitans which God hate. We need only the Word in order to return to their faith, they are the fathers ( Malachi 4:5,6).Unleavened bread, the Word
