To Lou Charles - another way to view Jesus saying, :Tell no one" is - he knew they would - and His desire was for His people to be witnesses; reverse phsycology.
  • Irene123 on Luke 5 - 9 years ago
    V. 14 - the leper; Jesus said "go and show thyself to the priest and offer for thy cleansing". I looked up just what all that 'offering' entailed; My goodness!! It'd take all day to do that!! Which is fine; what Jesus did for us was a lot more than that.
  • Irene123 on Luke 4 - 9 years ago
To Bruce on satan - he doesn't have power. Job 1:6-12. He has to present himself before God and ask permission. God allows him to grieve us to test our love and faith for Him. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
  • Tonia on Psalms 59 - 9 years ago
The Word of GOD has always been a comfort to me. His Word never gets old and after 28 years of my Salvation through Christ Jesus, still becomes new; in the different seasons of my life: I am humbled by that miracle. Halleluia and Amen. All of the comments by you other believers are also such a blessing. May God continue to bless you all!

I think that all of the KJV is God's word and that we should trust in it.

Anthony: Joe, you can be sure he is not talking about possessions. He's talking about true treasures received by reading studying the word with prayer telling others, helping them in their walk. The more you do these things the more you receive. V-23,24,25 go together. Your spiritual ears are opened when you do the above
  • S.Burris on Revelation 22 - 9 years ago
To God'sGirl, I don't think we will know our realtives as our sisters and brothers it won't be like that. I hear a lot of people say this but we want know them as your mother or fasther.

Michael C: Satan has power and authority to give power and authority, Revelations 13. Destroyer of life 1Peter 5:8. ) Giver of life Romans 10:13
  • Irene123 on Judges 7 - 9 years ago
The way God scaled down Gideon's army; I love the way God does things, He is so smart, wise.
  • Irene123 on Judges 6 - 9 years ago
V.2 - they lived in caves; also David did too. And others not of the middle east. These 'pre-historic' bones the worldly people are digging up; the bones of these people is what they are digging up. Just 'pieces' they are adding to to make a 'complete' skull. They shape it to look 'ape-ish'. They hate God.
  • Irene123 on Judges 3 - 9 years ago
Ehud, a man LEFTHANDED. This was God's plan - lefthanded men. To kill Eglon, Ehud had to get a weapon past the guards. 95 per cent of men were righthanded; so the guards searched Ehud's left side. So long Eglon.
  • Irene123 on Joshua 7 - 9 years ago
Achan's sin: it was a sin; Achan stole from God. That's made very plain. Ai: in the 1st place, Joshua did NOT pray for God's guidance before Ai. Had he prayed God would have told him of Achan. Joshua was 'presumptuous'. God tells what we need to know, but we have to ask him - "is there anything I need to know before this battle?" That's why Ai defeated them.
  • Irene123 on Joshua 6 - 9 years ago
    V. 1 is hilarious: even before the Israelites got to Jericho it was 'shut up'; God had 'em defeated before the 'battle' had even begun.
  • Irene123 on Joshua 5 - 9 years ago
To Bekezela Dube on Pro. 6:16 says (KJV) - seven ARE an abomination unto Him .....; the word 'are' is inclusive, meaning ALL 7 are abomination unto Him. The word 'hate' here is the same meaning as abomination. The word abomination used at the end stresses the reality of the hate. God wants to make sure they understand that He's serious.
  • Vikthor on 1 Corinthians 13 - 9 years ago
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.... Those four keys goes for everyone the poor, rich, sick, motherless, handicapped, lonely, frustrated, for all are the living, but all without CHARITY is profiteth you nothing..
  • Irene123 on Joshua 3 - 9 years ago
I agree with God/woman - Lord Jesus, Help thou my unbelief!! I've known the Lord for 47 yrs., but I still have fear, as we all do. I didn't live for Him for many many of those yrs.; only been 'back" 2 1/2 yrs., but I'm much stronger now than then. I'm older and been through a lot so have 'matured' in my thinking more.
I backslid for 34 yrs., so don't ever give up on your loved ones.
  • Irene123 on Joshua 2 - 9 years ago
I've read this ch. many times, but just this time took notice of v. 10; Rahab says 'they' (her family) remember the Red Sea event. This had to have been told to Rahab as a child; she would be too old at this time to be in this 'lifestyle' still - or maybe not .....? Just as in Deut. God tells His people to read and talk of His word always, the Gentiles keep these stories alive.
  • Inyani Jackson on Job 10 - 9 years ago
In reference to Job 10, this is pure lesson to us of current, to know that before Christ the champion of law could come, humanity can stand the blow of of Satan. all he (Satan) can conflict in any way, if we believe God, He will re-enforced our inner being to take control of our outer being. in sense that whatever difficulties we undergo, our spiritual status could not cease allowing one to move.
  • Roz on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
It's very clear that God created humans in Their likeness. They were ordered to be fruitful and multiply and take dominion over all the earth. On the 6th day v. 27...He completed all His creation. He rested on the 7th. Oh , but then He created a garden... and then He created Adam...so that explains how Cain met his wife. The earth had multiplied with man
  • Rev Autrey - 9 years ago
Again, when John mentions the Father in John 1:1, it is his way of saying that God speaks of himself as a Trinity, or in Trinitarian form. That is, he speaks of himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Namely, "I am Jesus, the Father sent me, receive ye the Holy Spirit." But he is still only one being. As he said in Isaiah 43:10, "Besides me there is no God formed." Amen, Amen, Amen.
  • Craig and vanessa Smith on Philippians 4 - 9 years ago
    God bless you
  • Rev Autrey - 9 years ago
When John says in John 1:1 that "the Word was with God" He was not trying to dispute the long held Jewish belief that there is only one God, or one being called God. He was making reference to God's other name, the name by which God decides his affairs. And there is a third name of God, the Holy Spirit. So what we are talking about with God is name recognition, and nothing more. Amen.
  • Rev Autrey on John 1 - 9 years ago
Again, when John says that Jesus (the Word) is God he is not speaking in vacuum. He knew from reading the Scriptures that the one he baptized was God. Isa. 12:2 reads, "See, God has come to save me! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord is my strength and song; he is my salvation. And guess what! That's what the name Jesus means, "the God who saves" or "God save me."
  • Bud on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
To Michael butler: You have believe with your heart that JESUS is LORD and SAVIOR HE conceive of the HO{Y SPIRIT, born of a virgin, was buried, raised from the dead by GOD the FATHER seen by many , Assented to the FATHER, and sets on GOD'S right hand to judge the living and the dead. Confess all your passed sins and ask the LORD to forgive them, and seek the mercy that gives out. John 3: 16
  • Apostle Cave on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Hello Mr Butler very nice to admit who you are and what you are. All you have to do is tell God you sorry for your sins and ask him to forgive you. God is faithful to forgive the most vilest sinner. It's really that simple. Ask Jesus to come into your life and save you and he will do it if you really mean it. If you be real with God he will save your soul and blot out your sins. God will bless you
  • Carl on Proverbs 24 - 9 years ago
the human side of man always want to cast judgement ,but we must humble ourselves and trust God to have the last say for our enemies.
