responds to anna/annie; sounds like you're having a rough time and nobody answers you here. Just passing along a friendly christian wave ( Numbers 6:24-26), hold fast to your faith.
  • Karl on Ezekiel 1 - 10 years ago
responds to Kenneth; GOOD QUESTION! What did Ezekiel see? The LORD of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Samuel, and Elijah (1Kings19) does not seem to be the God of Ezekiel. Perhaps the question we should be asking is not so much WHAT did he see, but WHY did he see it? My interpretation is that this manifestation was meant for a people familiar with Babylonian imagery. Does the LORD need a spaceship?

John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. John 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Jesus himself is the word of God. He who drinks the living water shall never be thirsty. This is the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks to Jesus for shedding his blood to us so that all may have life in abundance. God's words are more important to meditate than prayers. God's words are more powerful than the edge of the sword.
  • Cynthia Scott on John 1 - 10 years ago
John was faithful unto God. He could have grown weary while waiting on Jesus to come; however he never gave up. He continued to pave the way for Jesus. We as Christians today should do the same. We are so quick to give up when we don't get a quick answer to our prayers. Praise God for forgiveness and his Love!

  • Annie on Psalms 3 - 10 years ago
David had the sense to flee from evil as Joseph did. Sometimes we try to sit in stubborness when God decides we need to leave an unhealthy places. Sometimes we try to forgive and see God in others where good does not exist. This psalm is a call to flee the physical and emotional deceptions created by the enemy to rob us of our birthright. Let the devil talk just move out of his path to new things.
  • Annie on Psalms 2 - 10 years ago
God alone is deserving of our praise. The only person worth holding in awe. A man who learns to fear God is a man who understands lifes purpose. When we encounter a world overrun with liars on every side, then the righteous understands that their future does not bond them to selfish men but to God who creates a path for connection with new souls with integrity.
  • Annie on Psalms 1 - 10 years ago
Up late meditating on the Psalm. I am reminded to dismiss the counsel of those that do not reflect the spirit of God. Nothing good comes from listening to the deceitful ways of the crafty. I have found myself surrounded by two males and a bunch of females treacherous to the core. God is saying stop looking for light in dark places.
  • Ken Miller on Psalms 3 - 10 years ago
    It saved me
I was badly injured in a vehicle crash. Everyone was telling me that I had to learn to be crippled. Closing my life, my wife took my son and left she didn't want to be married to a cripple. The Churubs were approved by God to be made and they are symbolic. God did not say the Cherubs should be worshipped. Verse 22 says God will commune with Moses above the Mercy seat between the Cherubs. No excuse to worship curved images

  • Nene on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Yes Mr. Robey read Matthew 16:18-19 where Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven and in Acts 2:37-47 you will see Peter in the mist when the people asked what must they do to be saved then Peter replied to them and The Lord added to the CHURCH daily such as should be saved, meaning follow the instructions that Jesus left with Peter for us to obey until the end. God Bless You...
  • Sandy on Acts 19 - 10 years ago
Amazing how these things are still an issue today. If people would read the scripture, they would see that Gods plan is playing out just as it is written. People, PLEASE GET SAVED REPENT AND GET RIGHT WITH GOD! THERE IS A HEAVENLY REWARD FOR THAT!
  • Sdl on Psalms 46 - 10 years ago
I have been reading the comments from 2015. Jesus Christ is our refuge. The Holy Spirit gives us comfort, and teaches us of Jesus. The angels do not have more power than the Trinity. The Lord needs no help from angels. The fallen angels are here to destroy us, our witness for Christ and at the very least negate our testimony for Christ. I have been calling on this Psalm for 40 yrs.
