Jesus came down by the power of God. He shed his blood to us so that we will all have life in abundance and we are saved by his Grace. He made everything new in our life as our sins are washed by his blood. We are also healed by his stripes and we are set free from the hands of the defeated devil. Our job now is to accept Jesus and love him and obey his words. For he is the only Jehovah our life.

I live surrounded by people who keep putting God to the test wiith no idea that is not a smart thing. I wonder how prepared a person really is to handle the wrath of God when he has worked overtime to ensure it

Everything in this world that my heart desire I possess for I have Jesus and a King James Bible. If my bible was taken away it would be ok, for his word is written on my heart. What is amusing is that noone can take worship or Jesus from a man. So the question is Satan what are you going to do? The answer is NOTHING.

Satan is never more nervous than when a child of God praises him with lips close. For then there are no words to use to his advantage.A silent Christian is the most potent by far. A silent Christian forces the devil to react. When we value time with God above all else the enemy is confounded. When we seek worship above all else the enemy is dismayed.
  • Annie on Psalms 66 - 10 years ago
There are so many things in the world a human could crave. Yet Satan sits and wait to use the desires of this world to destroy us. It is impossible in my case for Satan to have such a victory I can laugh at Satan for hardships have taught me to cleave to nothing. Here in lies his hatred of me While he plays the world like a fiddle when it comes to me Satan is out of strings.

  • Annie on Psalms 66 - 10 years ago
It is God's desire for a soul to worship him. The greatest point in a person's life is when they reach the point that they can say God you are all that matters. I give my all to you and forsake this world for I have found nothing and no one good in it but you.
  • Betty Sue Harshbarger on 2 Samuel 9 - 10 years ago
David made a covenant with Jonathan ill remember you, David never forgot that covenant . many times we say we will stand by a friend or brother or sister , yet when it comes time to remember what they have done for us we forget . like Peter at the table with JESUS . but one thing for certain Jesus will never forget , Jesus said ill never leave you , never forsake you.
  • Annie on Psalms 65 - 10 years ago
Truth brings stillnes to a man's heart and peace to his bones. That truth is the acknowledgment of the need to constantly dwell in God's presence. As Gods children our fate is certain. Our fate is that God's plans for our lives can never be diminished by the attack of the enemy.
  • Annie on Psalms 64 - 10 years ago
Judgment is not a choice it's a fact. My purpose in life is to bring God's light to those who want to see. Time wasted on a man who has decided to be an enemy of God is time diverted from a soul who is seeking God but needs direction. An enemy of light is not my focus; it is the soul that has flicker of light that is about to be extinguished.
  • Annie on Psalms 63 - 10 years ago
When a person seeks to dwell with God minute by minute the distractions of life fade. We realize the voice that counts is God's and the ones we heed are the ones who speak God.
  • Dewey J on Joshua 10 - 10 years ago
Betty Betts, like you said this was in the Old Testament. God never gave man a Saturday sabbath in the New Testament that Jesus Christ life, death, and resurrection brought us. Mk. 2:27 says, The sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath ". Christians legally honor Jesus Christ resurrection on Sunday because he is our Lord and Saviour who perfectly filled the entire law. Bless God.

I missed and posted a comment for Psalm 121 on here. However,I love this Psalm because i personally know "If it had not been for God on me and my kids side,i hate too even think of where would we be." It's amazing where He brought us from. "Thanks God."

  • Norm on Revelation 19 - 10 years ago
    Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
  • Norm on Revelation 19 - 10 years ago
Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; James 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
