  • Gerald Bankhead on 1 Samuel 1 - 10 years ago
Jesus is the Son of God, but is Himself a God. I believe this is the Son praying to His Father. Rather than a God praying to a God. At the time Jesus spoke to God, The Father, He knew He was answering to someone with more power, so to speak. If not, why ask? Jesus was asking the only person, He knew could
    Help Him.

One thing for sure Elijah is coming the book of Malichi tells us that so we will see who the other one God chose when Elijah gets here. The world will be going against them so we better listen to what they say and not be fooled like the rest of the ignorant.

On the sixth day God created male and female and covered the earth. All the different races of people. Then in the garden where the blood line would come through God created Adam and Eve the mother of all living because CHRIST would come through the blood line of them. And Satan will try to stop it from happening.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? Mark 12:27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err. Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Fear activates the devil and Faith activates God : Love is Greater than fear. Perfect love is mature love : I am still maturing in the love of God : This is a life long growing !!!! There are some places that I have overcome fear in and I have no problem in those areas any longer . Praise God !!
  • Devlin on 1 Samuel 1 - 10 years ago
Responds to Mr. Karl. I've read in Psalms 22 until 23. Still the same, Very clearly that Jesus still prayed to God. Jesus as God want another God for helping. And Jesus as a God, still want helping from God? If you know Hebrew.. you know the meaning of ELI ELI LAMA SABAKHTANI... Tq
  • Leonard Ng'eny on Haggai 2 - 10 years ago
Haggai 2:3- This text contains the very essence of how far our human aspirations can go.Much as the ancient temple was built with magnificence it turned to vanity (what later the very king, king Solomon himself, who built it said in Ecclesiastes) .The ancient temple was beaten down to ruins, never to attain her glory again. The lord now requires a place in our heart to be His holy habitation.
  • Eleonora van Wijchgel on 1 Corinthians 13 - 10 years ago
This text gives the core of, the basics for christian human life. It is so beautiful it brings tears to the eyes. Even after reading it many times it is so powerful. As humans we are imperfect, but trying to better ourselves is certainly inspired by this text. Gods grace will help and guide us.

  • Blesing on Jeremiah 20 - 10 years ago
Jeremiahs words reminds me of Job whose situation was much worse than Jeremiah's. The prophets pain of his present situation consumed him that he forgot God's promise that He will be with him. This is a very big lesson to us when passing through trials, let us know that God is there watching us and ready to help us if we will endure and persevere.

  • Karl on 1 Samuel 1 - 10 years ago
responds to Devlin; I think that, with his last words Jesus was hearkening us back to Psalm 22, and at the same time giving us his last lesson. The LORD drew us to Psalm 22 to draw us back to Psalm 23, read together the final message resonates within a Christian soul, how's that sound to you?
