When sin is encountered in its ugliest form yet noone stands up for righteousness sake the scripture resounds across the earth " all we like sheep have gone astray everyone to his own way."
It is sin ascending to the heavens in unbearable proportion in the face of a holy God that led to the Great Flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the captivity of Israel.

The 1 st seal the rider has a fake crown and a cheap fake bow so the rider as the scriptures tell us that Satan comes to deceive the world is coming on a white horse meaning he looks like the Lamb and the dragon speaks like the dragon as a crowned prince and he comes with power. Satan looks and has power to back his deception and the world will follow him. So when they say Jesus is in the desert or chambers and the world goes to be with him who looks like CHRIST and has powers to act out his deception DON'T GO!
  • Word on Revelation 5 - 10 years ago
Sharon after the great white throne judgment there are no tears in heaven because when one is blotted out they are erased out of our minds and are no longer remembered.
  • Word on Revelation 3 - 10 years ago
Paula Muncey that verse is for those that wait for the true CHRIST. Many Christians will go with the world when the first false messiah shows up with supernatural powers. Satan will deceive the world with power and looking like the Lamb but he is the dragon speaking lies with twisting the scriptures. And that is not hard to do with the preachers we have today helping him and getting the people ready for Satans deception.
  • Annie on Psalms 52 - 10 years ago
David understood the evils of the tongue and the constant perpetration of mischief. But, David was also aware of the vengeance requited to sinners by God. In this chapter, David's resolution is a life of worship and the forfeiture of personal vengeance for vindication by the Almighty.

AIN, another division in the Psalms Ain is a letter in Hebrew alphabet. David is first making a statement to God. I have tried to the best of my ability , to observe scripture and to live it out. No one could perfectly do this and I'm sure David's not claiming perfection, but he has given his life to God and His word. Next we see David asking a petition, Leave me not to mine oppressors. David knew he had missed the mark many times in his life but the over desire was to serve God at all cost. It is not improper to call on God when ones life direction is in glorifying God.

Even how we might think that it is not able to do as Abram was instructed by The LORD Just get up an go and leave everything you no but our Almighty god does take us and gives us direction and we must follow his orders for he is our guide and he has a plan for us.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:120 - 10 years ago
I could write a book on this verse! Most Christians today have forgot what it means to revere God. We have lost our awe of Him. Ex. 33:20 God said " there shall no man see me and live." Many times in scripture we see men falling to the ground on their faces when they are in the presence of God. In James 2:19 we see the devils believe and tremble. A verse that comes to mind is John 18:5 6 when they came to arrest Jesus in the garden, and they all fell backward when Jesus said, I am he. David had the awe of God and he knew this reverent fear of God. He feared God and he feared His testimonies. Fearing God's testimonies would come when we see how strict they are and how far we are from that righteous standard. Many have strayed from striving in holiness and have put everything in the grace basket. However we have the Holy Spirit that Peter say in 2 Peter 1:3, According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

No matter what I am tempted with to do and to say : I must STOP Think and make the choice that God has left me with in making a way to escape : I will say that from time to time I fail and allow my flesh to rule : I must learn to allow Holy Spirit to dictate to me instead of my flesh : It is hard to do but it can be done because God said it could through Him !!!! God is faithful to forgive me of my sin and to cleanse me when I confess to Him : Victory Ahead !!! I also Praise God for the choices I have made in some of those times of temptation that I choose to go with God !!! Sweet Peace and Blessing !!!

Women are speaking in the churches nowadays. The last time i attended church I saw a woman at the podium fulfilling what looked like the role of a male pastor. Anyway I thought was unusual, and this verse came to mind. Political correctness has invaded the church, but that means Jesus's return is imminent. Trust in christ for salvation today, human wisdom has completely failed in these end times.
  • Maureen Anyango on Deuteronomy 22 - 10 years ago
God was there before the scriptures and then came the scriptures came, before my greatest Dad Adam, God already knew He would bring Adam to existent just as He assures Jeremiah He knew the world would develop together with it's technology He got it well that lifestyle would change with time span and made it precise bound by the love He had for you and I, that you and I shall be an abomination by crossdressing.

The most interesting to me is this..

    Matthew 27:46,
Jesus said "ELI ELI LAMA SABAKHTANI" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?). It's show that there's another God and who's the God that Jesus called? Does Jesus@God prayed? How can Jesus@God prayed to another God? Somebody can tell me about this plz. Tq

As Jesus hung on the cross two thieves hung with Him on either side .One hurled insults the other ask to be remembered when Jesus entered His kingdom. Jesus replyed this day you will be with me in paridice. This is the fullness of the book of revelations.
  • Wayne - 10 years ago
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Adam hid from God and God could not see him.Jesus was a man of flesh and blood. The son of God. And the word became flesh and lived amongst us .It is by that very same flesh and blood which is shed for us we now can walk with and be seen by God our Father.
  • Betty on Psalms 34 - 10 years ago
This chapter reminds that God deserves all the praise and glory even thru trials and tribulations. This chapter also reminds me not to fear things of the world but to seek his righteousness and all thing I needs will be met. This is a great chapter to remind us of God promise
  • Wayne on Revelation 1 - 10 years ago
Let us open our hearts and mind to the Holy Spirit. Remembering that the Holy word of God is a living work of God. God is Love. Now then the word of God is not open to interpretation, but is the revelation of His word . this book is a book of revelations, not a book of secrets.Love has always been the way to truth and understanding.
  • Wayne - 10 years ago
Let me also say ;so that you know that the Lord our God is a living God.For we were once dead but now live .Having received unto ourselves the promise of eternal life. Who is Jesus Christ our salvation. For it is appointed unto men once to die , then the judgement.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:118 - 10 years ago
First and foremost, God's word is a benefit to man as it give direction, warning and comfort to name a few. Man sets himself up for failure when he disregards God's instruction. This verse reminds me of Romans Chapter 1: 24, 26, 28 where we read God gave them up to their own desires, which led to their destruction. One day these will face an angry God who will judge the wicked and pour out His wrath on them which is far worse than the self destruction they are enduring now.
  • Wayne on Zechariah 1 - 10 years ago
Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray without ceasing. Seek the Lord in all that you do. Work and ask of no one that you may stand blameless before them .For this is good in the eyes of God. Know and understand the kingdom of God is not of this world . Paul tells us that faith without works is meaningless .But let our faith be seen ,that the glory of God shine ever so brightly
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:117 - 10 years ago
This seems similar to the last verse. David is again acknowledging his dependency on God to hold him up. Then I shall be safe, or better, saved. This is, like last verse, temporal and eternal salvation in David's mind. Then I will have respect unto thy statutes continually, or better said, Your word is the apple of my eye.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:116 - 10 years ago
I believe we all pray this prayer. Keep me from falling in the trials and temptations of life. Again David acknowledges his total dependency on God, in this life and in the life to come. He ends, don't let me be ashamed of my hope, that would be his trust in God's word.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:115 - 10 years ago
My mind went to 1 Corinthians 5:10. Here Paul is stating the necessity of engaging the world in which we live, which means we will, at times, be in company of fornicators, covetous, etc. Paul does go on to forbid such contact if those practicing these life styles call themselves Christians. I believe what David is saying here is he did not want anyone around him that would deter him in his walk with God. I believe the line is drawn when the one you are trying to influence is influencing you. At that point it is time to pull back.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:103 - 10 years ago
I picture David reading and meditating on God's word and as he reads he is taking in all the promises to the righteous. As he reads, I see a smile on his face, because of the sweetness contained in this book. Sweeter than the honeycomb, Psalms 19:10 states.
