responds to Linette; my interpretation of "strange woman" would simply mean a woman who stands "outside" of the LORD's grace and commandments, specifically to a licentious or adulterous one. I take the chapter to mean that the wisdom given in scripture is meant to guide you away from such people - men and/or women - and guide you to the LORD, how's that sound to you?

I thank God that when I get up in the morning my life is about him and not someone else. I thank God that when I go to bed at night my life is about him and not someone else. I am divorced from a man who makes every aspect of my life his business. If ever I could think of Satan in flesh it would be in the form of this human. Never have I known such an idle menacing spirit. What struck me most is that it took me being divorced to read Titus so I could understand what to look for in a spouse. There is hope. Chapter 3 was great just be contented what you have and the Lord will bless you if your not greedy. Serve him to the fullest hold on him not let go. He will fill the barns full bless him every day. Give him the glory.

I believe there is an order of things, not to discredit anyone, but Jesus would want each of us to be faithful and obedient to the Word of God. I believe all things are possible in God who strengthens us

The old prophet may not have gotten a word from the Lord in a long time and had gotten jealous when the younger prophet produced such a marvelous sign. At any rate, God's scales of justice work perfectly, and we can rest assured that the old prophet was punished for his lie either in this life or the next.

Nothing surprises our Maker. He is the unseen one marking our ways to save us...why don't we just believe and obey?

God, supreme, in all manner how can anything be hatd difficult for Him.....let's run onto him and be recreated, renewed daily, transformed by grace through faith we will become Christlike......that's our difficulty. He will prepare us for eternity with Him.
