Discuss Revelation 13

    The real problem with Dominionism

Lately I've heard about certain esoteric roots related to Alice Bailey for one that apparently were part of the origin of this popular and trending move in "Christendom" today. Much like the attitude of those in Communism from its inception there are many "useful idiots" whether well intentioned or not that are being; well used to take over this world as a Kingdom that was not one Christ Himself said He wasn't interested in ruling over at the time He came the first time to earth ( John 18:36).

Now Satan isn't seen as the god of this world; some within the movement may speak of those who have evil designs doing his bidding; but it is never recognized it seems that he indeed has; for the time been given the status of the "god of this world" ( 2 Cor. 4:4). Never mind any verses mentioning a one world ruler who will be worshipped by EVERYONE not written in the book of life in Revelation 13:8. I suppose these leaders think Satan can be tricked somehow or overpowered from his throne at present so they can complete their grand design or mandate; and somehow not be part of his own sick plan for domination through their efforts in creating to a large extent "Mystery Babylon".

Again; with every false way enough truth is used to convince most people that it is right. We certainly should vote for those who at least appear to expouse truth and righteousness that is clearly superior to another candidate; if not for our own hides; for the care and love of our brother and neighbor and what is best for them. This requires the wisdom to abstain from such a vote if our conscious doesn't convict us that we can't vote for either party. It also means we shouldn't be naive to how; as the saying goes absolute power corrups absolutely and to carefully follow the money trail. We must hold our politicians accountable to do what they say not say what they claim they do.

Christ is the head of the church; the church doesn't rule over Him.

    Hey S Spencer,

When I read about enduring and overcoming, it resonates with me as a call to obedience. Obedience is essential to our walk with God and shows our love for Him. As Giannis said, God's grace is a gift, and our salvation comes from Jesus' sacrifice; we can't do anything to earn it.

Obedience is the foundation of enduring and overcoming the challenges we face in this corrupt world. I agree it is by the blood of the Lamb, Philippians 4:13. Obedience is not a work but an expression of our love for God and the promises He has given us; obedience is on us, Romans 6:16, as Jesus is our guide who was obedient unto death, we are also to be obedient, many in the past has been obedient unto death and many in the future will also. To me, that is the ultimate enduring and overcoming.

I understand some of the verses I listed might fit a time when you and others believe the Church will be taken to heaven and won't be here, but those Scriptures are there for a reason, like Revelation 13:9-10 and Revelation 14:12-13. Those who have genuine faith will endure and overcome the persecution that is coming, even death.

    God bless,

It is late but out of a sense of duty let me briefly sum up some other concepts here from scripture. I did earlier posts which probably are gone on this subject; not sure if a name search can look things up although things ARE archived permanently it seems under certain scripture references of the day.

As stated in the last post there are what I would call "hidden" nuggets referring to the Rapture. Psalm 40 in the beginning is one I have mentioned; another is Zephaniah 2:3. Then there are the precedents of Enoch being translated because He had a close walk with God and Elijah. Jesus of course was the "first of the firstfruits" and the many who came out of their graves after His resurrection was an early gleaning type firstfruits as well ( Matt. 27:52-53).

We are; symbolically the "kings and priests" shown in Revelation 5 and other scriptures. Again it seems at times confusing but verses there discuss being redeemed to allow us to differentiate between angelic beings and people.

One strong point which we probably all agree upon is to focus on the Word; especially in light of heaven. This is how we gain spiritual insight; and it keeps us from myths such as the 3 days of darkness which come from some sort of pagan mysticism that is supposed to occur before the Rapture. Indeed there IS darkness coming during various judgments.

The other point is that the time of Jacob's trouble ( Jeremiah 30:7) needs to help provoke God's people ( Zech 13:8) who endure until the end through saving faith of that time of trial which the whole WORLD goes through which Revelation 3:10 promises we can as the overcomers in the Godly remnant type church can experience.

Again I have cited verses in Daniel which discuss saints being overcome ( Daniel 7:25 also seen in Revelation 13:7); yet now in the "church age" or dispensation the gates of hell will not prevail against the church ( Matt. 16:18). This means absolute apostasy in Mystery Babylon can't come until we are gone.

The beast and his image: Part 4

I won't pretend to have all the answers here; but it certainly seems we are seeing almost the end of the puzzle pieces here fitting together in 2025. Revelation 13:14 states things this way: And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Now MAKING an image sounds a lot like computers and people conjuring up something for themselves; perhaps making it seem unique as an identifier in that respect. The mark therefore is more than just an economic control it embodies imprisonment of the souls of men to do Satan's bidding which ends up as Psalm 2 and Revelation 19 indicate; a mad dash to consolidate men to fight in the valley of Meddigo (Armageddon). The image of the beast therefore relates to the Zechariah 11 passage beginning in verse 15. There is a real deadly wound and this image basically will be used to mock the Resurrection or a true coming back from the dead. The idea of invincibility will be made manifest due to the killing of the two prophets showing the timing before the last 2 trumpets (and after the first "woe") when men have been tormented for months and ripe for deception. Who can make war with him is indicated here; although you would think the resulting resurrection of the 2 witnesses and the terror ensuing that the whole world no doubt witnesses would change hearts; but this shows how strong the delusion from GOD will be.

The sobering thoughts of the ultimate demise of men's souls with this infamous mark should set us all straight and we should be aghast. I strongly suggest that anyone who has not taken a sober evaluation of their own spiritual condition apart from Christ take a moment to consider these realities. No one can handle the truth without God and without Him there is no remedy.

    Lbooth 1955,

    Part 2

How much time does Scripture give the beast? In Revelation 13, the beast, whom people call the antichrist, from the time he rises, he is only given 3.5 years, not 7 years, Revelation 13:5. This is after the war in heaven where Michael and his angels overcome and cast Satan and his angels down to earth, this is when the restraints are lifted, not the removal of the Church.

The beast is only given 42 months, which is 3.5 years, to make war against the saints and to overcome them, Revelation 13:7. If the church is removed, whom will he make war against? The resurrection of the dead is divided into two:

The resurrection of the righteous, which is the first resurrection and will happen at Christ's return, Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 20:4-6.

Resurrection for the rest of the dead, which is the second resurrection, and will happen after the 1000 years of Christ's reign, Revelation 20:7-15.

The ones in the first resurrection will reign with Christ, where, Daniel 7:27, 2 Timothy 2:12 Revelation 20:6, Revelation 5:9-10. When Jesus returns, He does not go back to heaven.

We see in Revelation 20:4 thrones, and judgment was given to those in the first resurrection. This is on earth, and we see those who were beheaded and did not take the mark or worship the beast, and these lived and reigned with Christ on earth for the 1000 years.

last trumpet is the seventh trumpet, the same trumpet in 1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16. Jesus is coming to establish His kingdom on this earth.

It should be understood that the Bible clearly states that there are two comings of Jesus.

He came to die for the sins of mankind: this has been fulfilled.

Second Coming: coming to establish the kingdom of God/heaven. This is yet to happen. The resurrection of the righteous dead only happens at the second coming of Christ.

    See part 3.

    Brother Chris, if I may.

What is the Rapture? It is a doctrine that began in the 1800s and is widely accepted today. The belief in it is so strong that many see it as a promise, a guarantee, that the Church will be taken to heaven and escape the great tribulation, which is often confused with the wrath of God. But is it true or just a deception? Isn't the rapture a resurrection? We see there are only two resurrections, in Revelation 20:6 and Revelation 20:12-13, separated by a thousand years.

Nowhere is the Church shown in heaven; Revelation 19:7-9 is not about the Church. It describes the bride of Christ adorned with the righteousness of the saints. The marriage and the marriage supper will not occur until Revelation 21:1-2, which takes place after the new heaven and new earth. The angel shows John the bride, the Lamb's wife, who is not the Church, as stated in Revelation 21:9-11.

We must distinguish between the great tribulation and the wrath of God; they are not the same. Tribulation refers to the suffering and persecution faced by believers. We see in Revelation 12:12, Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, for the devil has come down to you, having great wrath. This is when he gives power to the beast, and the great tribulation begins. The short time Satan believed he had was 3.5 years, not seven. Revelation 13:5 mentions 42 months, which is 1260 days, or 3.5 years. The prophecy in Daniel 9 is all about the Messiah, Jesus, and the time Israel has.

We do not see the wrath of God and the Lamb until after the sixth seal, in Revelation 6:12-17. This is when Jesus returns to earth, the earth is round, and when Jesus returns, it will be as in Mathew 24:29-31. We will then meet Him in the air, and we all come down together.

    God bless,

    Some practical advice

I realize that there has been; to say the least an urgency on my part as to the impending doom and the need to get things out quickly; etc. I never heard of only one piece of well; you know stuff hitting the fan as opposed to the whole motherlode; but my idea that I'm trying to convey is it is more likely if He tarries that there will be short term issues that affect our lives in regard to power outages; martial law; food supply issues and the like. A limited event of whatever form needs to be something we prepare for.

In this segment I want to emphasize some things that indeed may tie into the Tribulation but have some reality this side of the Rapture. Namely; the verse that says if you live by the sword; you will die by the sword ( Matt. 26:52). We can see the same concept in Revelation 13:10 states in KJV He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Other translations seem to indicate we go by whatever fate we must endure but don't emphasize our actions leading to these countermeasures. Nonetheless; we need to be wise and realize that whenever possible we should live at peace with all men; and yes I would say there is some precedent even if an invading army takes over under certain circumstances. In terms of our own ruling establishment there are many who would want to refuse instruction should things get tough and I won't say that certain situations may arise when something fundamentally goes against what we believe or someone is simply out to arrest and kill us we shouldn't take some other recourse. Presumption here isn't wise; however and again our primary reason for being here is to be a witness to the world.

We need to show others our faithfulness as no doubt we may be assigned at that point to help others who we can as our government may be lacking. Let's entrust the Spirit to give us the words.

    1. Revelation 3:10 : "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." Here, "those who dwell on the earth" are contrasted with the faithful believers who are promised protection from the coming trials.

    2. Revelation 6:10 : "And they cried out in a loud voice, 'How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You avenge our blood and judge those who dwell on the earth?'" This verse highlights the cry of the martyrs for justice against those who have persecuted them, indicating that "those who dwell on the earth" are often seen as persecutors of the faithful.

    3. Revelation 8:13 : "Then I looked and heard an eagle flying in midair, calling out in a loud voice: 'Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the remaining three angels!'" The woes pronounced upon "those who dwell on the earth" suggest impending judgment and calamity.

    4. Revelation 11:10 : "And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate and send each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them." This passage describes the reaction of "those who dwell on the earth" to the death of God's prophets, indicating their opposition to God's messengers.

    5. Revelation 13:8 : "And all who dwell on the earth will worship the beast-all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was slain." This verse underscores the allegiance of "those who dwell on the earth" to the beast, contrasting them with those whose names are in the book of life.

Thanks to Bible hub I found all 5 of these references to those who dwell on the earth; again a strong indication of the Rapture but also indicative of the difference between those written in the Book of Life and those who are not. I'll delve into this more in the nest post.

    Brother Jesse,

We are not far apart. First, to answer your question, will I walk away? The answer is NO! I know Romans 1:28 didn't fit, but it reflects what I was thinking of someone I knew when I wrote it. Only God knows the heart of man. What was in my mind was a person I knew, and anyone who knew them would say this person was a true Christian.

This person lost a child, and they completely changed. Over time, they turned into the opposite of who they were, and this verse fits what I saw happen to this person. This is one of the reasons I believe someone can fall away; only God knows if that is what happened. John 6:44, we may see this as the gospel today, the words of God are preached, which draws people, but that is not coming to Christ himself.

Then we have Matthew 22:14: Many are called, but few are chosen. Some who hear will fully embrace it and be accepted by God, while others will not. We are drawn or called, but is it not up to us to go and believe?

How do we understand verses like Hebrews 3:12-14? This is directed at those in Christ. 1 Timothy 4:1-2, My understanding, this goes with 2 Thessalonians 2:3 and Revelation 13:7-10; here is the patience of the saints. This is a true falling away, John 1.5:4-6; we must continue to abide in Him. Romans 11:19-22, we can be cut off.

James 1:12 is another blessed is a man that endureth, if he does, he will receive a crown of life. As in Revelation 2:10, faithful unto death. I respect you, but to me, there are too many warnings to endure and overcome until our death. We cannot ignore that; we must encourage each other to stay strong in our faith.

Not to spark another debate, I believe the great falling away is connected to when the beast rises and the persecution begins. Many think they will be taken out, but are not; they will be here. My understanding is Christ will never forsake us; the only thing that can separate us from Him is us.

    Thanks again, brother,

    God bless,

    RLW

Work of the Spirit in the Tribulation

While we can't hold all spiritual truths to the exclusion of the Tribulation there are some things; no doubt functionally that He will work with once the church is removed and the restrainer mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. Joel 2:32 states along with verses in Romans that all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved; but the focus in Joel is no doubt the Tribulation with God's judgments on the earth; albeit the earlier fulfillment at Pentecost.

There are other verses which warn in the end that although men cry out to the Lord He will not hear them and they are destroyed.

Whatever happens at Armageddon; no doubt the fate of those are sealed who have taken the mark and fight against Christ at His return.

In terms of Predestination I quote in Revelation 13:8

8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

This fits into other scripture such as Daniel 12:10 that only the wise will understand what is going on at that time.

Thus; the finality of the wheat separated from the chaff occurs. I would say that begins with the false one world religious "Babylon" which has an economic and religious headquarters and power structure. The beast himself destroys this at the midpoint of the Tribulation in accordance with the wishes of the 10 rulers who rule with him for one hour so as to receive worship only for himself. ( Rev. 17:16).

We all need to remember that this horrible time; the worst the world has ever or will ever again endure is all in God's plan to finish the work of purifying His people including the nation of Israel ( Zechariah 13:8 and many other verses). His saints; therefore will be the living testimony along with Christ's physical return of His faithfulness and will usher in the promised Millennial reign. Sadly that will end with one more rebellion; sinful man can never learn on their own.

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. ( Matthew 21:44)

44 "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. ( Daniel 2:44).

Theme: Better to be broken than crushed.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. ( Psalm 51:17).

I suppose it could be said God is the ultimate party crasher. Just when Satan gets things up to speed and rapidly approaches his goal of total destruction and control of the earth Christ shows up to put an end to this kingdom of darkness after 3.5 years of the worst time ever on earth. At that time the kingdoms of this world are trashed and destroyed without a trace. Man's impenitent heart will not have any wisdom after seeing all the destruction over most of the earth by that time; somehow they think that after all their defeats by God's judgments they can collectively fight against and defeat Christ at Armageddon with whatever devices they come up with.

7Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. ( Psalm 37:7-10).

I may be led here to give another talk on Revelation; again it does show predestination as all those who are not written in the book of Life will worship him) (the beast) as seen in Revelation 13:8. This is wrath which the true church will be delivered from in the Rapture.

    (Revelation Part 50):

Revelation 13:18 - Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Now I'm sure you probably are already aware that there are many books out there adding up people's names, putting numerical equivalence to alphabet numbers, and adding up people's names to be six hundred and sixty-six. This has been going on for a long time.

But if I may point out that everything that we've studied in this chapter is telling us that there is Satan's trinity (if you would), the dragon, the antichrist, and the false prophet are the shadows of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Here's what I can share on this:

Let him that understands count the number of the beast, and notice this: For it is the number of man, not "a man," not "the man," just man. Adam was created on the sixth day. Six is the number that is one less than perfection or completeness. So, all the way through scripture it was the number of man. Man was created by God, but he falls short of completeness because he's a sinner.

He says for it is the number of man; and his number is 666, not six hundred and sixty-six. You see, it's the number six three times. It's the number of man, and each six stands for one of the three in Satan's trinity. It doesn't add up to six hundred and sixty-six. It's six three times!

And that's the number that a person must take to function in the one world government that's about to come to pass here on the earth.

    Jesse, thanks, brother,

I understand that many interpret a 7-year tribulation based on Daniel 9:27. In Revelation 12, when Satan is cast out of heaven onto earth, Revelation 12:12 says, "Woe to the inhabiters of the earth." He is filled with great wrath. Satan makes war, not peace. Revelation 13:1-5 explains that Satan gives the beast his power, his seat, and great authority. This beast is only given 42 months to reign. The book of Revelation does not mention seven years anywhere; instead, this beast is only granted 42 months from the time he rises.

Daniel 9: Daniel realized the 70 years of captivity were ending and prayed for himself and Israel, asking God for mercy so they could return to their homeland. Gabriel appeared to show Daniel a vision of his people, the house of Israel, and the holy city, Jerusalem. This prophecy foretold when the Messiah would come.

Seventy weeks are determined upon Daniel's people and the holy city. I will keep this short; to cover all this would take many posts. The 7 years are taken from Daniel 9:27, attributing he as being the antichrist, the beast in Revelation.

The entire prophecy is about the coming Messiah; 490 years are given to fulfill the 6 things listed in verse 24, with the judgment for their abominations and the rejection and killing of the Messiah that will be carried out on the city in verse 26.

In verse 26, it says that after 62 weeks, the Messiah will be cut off/crucified. The first 7 weeks must be added, totaling 69 weeks; this would make it during the 70th week. The 70th week has been fulfilled, and due to their rejection of the Messiah/Jesus, the city and temple were destroyed because they overspread abominations. Jesus was the he who confirmed the covenant.

Matthew 23 Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Jesus caused the sacrifice and oblation to cease because it pointed to Him. Matthew 27:51, the veil of the temple rent, and Hebrews 10.

    God bless,

    (Revelation Part 49b):

    Revelation 13:15 Continued

I'm sharing all this ahead of time so you can see how all this fits together. In order to participate in the economic, political, and religious system of the world, to buy food, and to participate, you have to worship the image. If you worship the image, then you get the mark of the beast. And that mark gives you the authority to function in the economic and political system.

So, there's not going to be someone sitting standing on a street corner saying "Hey, you want your mark? Come on over, I'll give you your mark." You can't get that mark unless you join his religious system and worship the image.

If you refuse to do that, you'll be killed. If you accept that presentation, and you take the mark of the beast, you can no longer be saved! So, he had power to give breath unto the image of the beast, and it comes alive, even though it's not living.

Some people think that it's some kind of a computer that possibly talks and moves. It has life to it, but it is not living. That the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, that they should be killed.
  • Jesse - In Reply - 10 months ago
    (Revelation Part 49a):

Revelation 13:15 - And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast. Now the word "life" isn't the word life. It's the word PNEUMA which means breath. It is also used for spirit and wind. Satan can't give life. He gave breath to the image of the beast.

Remember, the false prophet is saying "You need to make an image of him. That's what we need to do." So, they made an image. In fact, in Daniel 9:27, it tells us that right in the middle of the Tribulation Period, because remember that the Tribulation Period is seven years, but the last half of the Tribulation Period is called the "Great Tribulation." That's where the judgments of God are really poured out upon the earth.

Well, for the first half of the Tribulation Period, the antichrist and his prophet are unifying the economic, political, and religious systems of the world. In fact, he will covenant with the nation Israel to rebuild their temple. And they will start sacrificing again in their temple. And one day, the antichrist comes in with the false prophet, and he puts his image in the Holy of holies, and demands that everyone worship the image of the beast.

    (Revelation Part 48):

Revelation 13:10 - He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Now He's saying he that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: and he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. He's actually telling His people that if you fight back, however you fight back is how you're going to be killed.

Here is the patience, literally the endurance, the remaining under our circumstances (HUPOMONE), and the faith of the saints. So, He's telling them to endure, and to trust. Don't fight because whatever way you try to fight, you'll be put to death.

Revelation 13:11 - And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Lambs don't have horns. He had the appearance of a lamb, but basically, he's a goat. And his speech comes from the dragon.

Revelation 13:12 - And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

You see, now you have another. This is what is called the false prophet in Chapter 16. He is a religious leader, while the antichrist is a political leader. The false prophet comes and he performs miracles, and he points people to the antichrist, just like the Holy Spirit brings people to Jesus.

Do you see the setup here?

Satan is just shadowing the things of God, only from an evil standpoint.

Revelation 13:13 - And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

And he does great wonders. 2 Thessalonians 2:9 tells us about this. He does great wonders, so that he makes fire to come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, just like the two witnesses did!

    (Revelation Part 47):

Revelation 13:5 - And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

    And there was given to him, by the dragon, a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies;

Great things is a term that means he was eloquent. He's very eloquent, and blasphemous, not towards God, but towards God's version of God. He presents himself as god. And power was given unto him to continue for forty and two months, the last part of the Tribulation.

Revelation 13:8 - And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain from the foundation of the world.

Remember earlier, I told you that there was more than one book. Deuteronomy tells us about the books of God. And there is a book that is called the book of the life of the lamb. All of God's people are in the book of the life of the lamb.

These people who are worshipping the beast during the Tribulation Period, their names are not in the book of the life of the lamb. They're in the book of life, meaning they were born. They exist, and existed.

But none of God's people are caught up in this. They don't worship the beast. For reference, you can read John Chapter 10 where Jesus said that those sheep that belong to Him will not listen to a stranger. That's a factual statement. It didn't say should not. It said will not. And they will follow Him (Jesus) wherever He goes.

    Jesse,

Yes, brother, we are no different from those who came before us. Nowhere in Revelation does it say we will be taken out. Revelation is clear: anyone who will not take the mark will be killed. Revelation 13:9 If any man hath an ear, let him hear. "Here is the patience and the faith of the saints". The faithful are still here, and many will be beheaded and killed. We are to endure to the end, even if we face death.

I hope this is enough; this could be a long discussion. I know you are working on this, and I do not want to slow it down. I hope you don't mind if I reply, this is most important for the truth.

    God bless,

    Hi GiGi,

    Part 1

Thank you for your reply, I certainly do not mind. I understand that this subject is delicate, and I am blessed to have brothers and sisters on this site willing to discuss it. Revelation is a challenging book, and I am looking forward to Jesse getting through it.

You have listed some exciting verses, and I hope to share my thoughts on them and your post, not to determine who may be right, but rather to view the discussion as a nudge to pray and study. On the verses you listed, John 12:49-50, Jesus is saying the Father gave Him a commandment and what the Father told Him to say, Jesus was obedient.

John 8:28-29, the Pharisees were debating with Jesus who He was, and He said that in verse 28-29 when He is lifted up/crucified, they will know who He is. We see in Matthew 28:54 when Jesus died and those things that happened, the centurion and those who were there greatly feared and said, "Truly this was the Son of God.

John 7:16-19, the gospels, reveal the glory of the Father who sent Jesus; all that Jesus did was accomplished by the Father through the Holy Spirit, with which Jesus was anointed without measure.

In John 4:34, John 5:19, John 5:30, and John 8:26 all say that it is the Father, not Him, on in John 14:10 Jesus was in the Father and the Father was in Him this was from the time Jesus was anointed without measure the Holy Spirit when He was baptized and made the Messiah.

Jesus was and is the Word of God; John 1:14. God was in the flesh in Jesus through the Holy Spirit, just like these verses say. The beginning in John, many understand it as the beginning of creation, my understanding is the beginning of Jesus' ministry, as we see in Mark 1:1, Luke 1:2, and 1 John 1:1.

To me, Jesus was the first in the plan of God, Revelation 3:14, and everything was created in Jesus, not by Him, and all was created for Jesus and the purpose of the Father. Revelation 13:8 and 1 Peter 1:18-21.

    Hi Kstott.

(The tree of knowledge of good and evil)

    Here is my viewpoint.

God gave Adam and Eve dominion over all the earth and to dress the Garden of Eden.

I believe evil existed on the earth, but Adam and Eve had no knowledge of it. (KEEP IN MIND SATAN HAD ALREADY FALLEN AT THIS POINT)

Adam and Eve was naked literally and figuratively (Uncovered or vulnerable to sin with no atonement for sin.)

I believe God put the Tree of knowledge of good and evil to give Adam and Eve a choice to obey Him or disobey Him, knowing they would eat of it. Without a knowledge of evil or transgression there is no sin.

THIS DIDNT CATCH GOD BY SURPRISE!

The Lord Jesus was ordained to come into the world as the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world AND TO REDEEM THAT WHICH WAS LOST before the world begun.

    1 Peter 1:19-20.

    Ephesians 1:4.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (The plan for Jesus's sacrifice was in place before the world's creation.)

Everlasting life was to never come by the first Adam but by the last. 1 Corinthians 15:45.

There may be different views on this.

    God bless.

False Prophets: Deciever and being decieved.

"But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived ( 2 Timothy 3:13).

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. ( Matthew 24:11).

As we get closer to the time of the end; and the approach of the Antichrist's appearance; more and more false prophecies will seem to be fulfilled. It is only expected that if a man deceives the whole world as Revelation 13:8 says And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Surely a false Messiah will appear to mirror many aspects of the true one; and reading Revelation shows how miraculous signs from heaven and most importantly an apparent restoration from death ( Revelation 13:3) after the deadly wound mentioned in Zechariah 11:17. The events of the first seal in Revelation 6:1 and also mentioned in the Daniel 9:27 passage and other verses from that book in particular show how he arises. It only takes a little homework to see that Islam teaches of an eventual 12th Imam who will arise and bring forth a time of peace; which echoes New Age; the Maitreya and other manifestations of a utopia believed to arrive after we have "evolved" to the next level.

For this study; I just pass through the final manifestation of evil on the earth in this age and will now focus on the false prophets of today as well as in the past to see characteristics. The first thing I would say is that a false prophet usually has false "profits". Titus 1:10-11 states For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. There are some who clearly are fleecing the flock for exorbitant living that are in megachurches; but other times cults will declare a vow of poverty but bilk funds.

    Ronald,

Revelation 13:7-8 is saying that all who dwell upon the earth will worship (the Beast) not God, for they are all those whose names are not written in the Book of Life. Perhaps this is not what you meant to convey.

Later I will go through those verses in this part on the topic you highlight.

I am so glad that God will supply for us in Christ through the Holy Spirit the power to endure to the end and cause us to persevere in faith throughout our life. We, ourselves would not be able to do this. Our salvation is of God from start to finish! Praise the Lord!

Let us pray that we come to unity of faith with sound doctrine taught in Scripture concerning all matters of our God, our salvation, our future. I remember reading that we have eternal life now and in the future. Let me pull up that verse.

    John 5:24

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

    John 11:25

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live"

    John 6:47

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life."

Eternal life is both a present and future possession of believers. How amazing and comforting that is. We who are in Christ are already raised to life while alive now, but will also be resurrected bodily at Jesus' return to have our salvation become complete and eternal.

    John 17:1-5,

    Part 7.

Hebrews 4:3 references Psalm 95, which describes the Israelites' journey with Moses through the wilderness, enduring dunes, rocky paths, and scarce food and water. Those who did not remain faithful, trusting in God's promise, did not enter God's rest. This passage stresses faith and the rest God has promised to those who, in faith, overcome the trials of this life filled with challenges, temptations, and struggles.

Revelation 3:5 shows us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We cannot earn our salvation through our actions; rather, this rest is dependent on accepting the grace and redemption offered in Christ, works that were finished from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 13:7-8 states that all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. This time is still to come; only true believers will be able to resist this hour of temptation that is foretold in Revelation 3:10. We see this same language in the concept that the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world.

The challenge and reward are found in Revelation 2:7 and Revelation 13:9-10, "He who has ears, let him hear." We can read and study the Bible without grasping the truth of its message for different reasons, truth comes from prayer. Our ears are connected to our eyes; if we cannot hear, we are also blind.

We have these verses to consider.

    Before being ordained, Jeremiah 1:5, Acts 13:48, 1 Corinthians 2:7, Ephesians 2:10, Galatians 1:15

    The foreknowledge of God, Acts 2:23, Ephesians 3:9, Colossians 1:26-27, 1 Peter 1:2, 1 Peter 1:20

    Predestination, Acts 4:27-28, Romans 8:29-30, Ephesians 1:5, Ephesians 1:10-12

    God's plan.

    2 Kings 19:25, Psalm 33:11, Isaiah 14:27, Isaiah 22:11, Isaiah 25:1, Isaiah 37:26, Isaiah 46:10, Jeremiah 29:11.

    Hi Bronco Wildtrak,

The term "falling away" comes from the Greek word "apostasia," which translates to apostasy, rebellion, defection, or revolt. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word "meshubah" refers to backsliding or turning away. You mentioned Romans 11 regarding the wild olive branch, and I understand that this could be related to the falling away or apostasy that is expected to occur at the end times.

In 2 Thessalonians, Paul writes about the coming of our Lord Jesus and states that this will not happen until two events occur: the falling away and the revelation of the "son of perdition." Different interpretations of these events lead to varying understandings of the end times. I see this apostasia referenced in Revelation 13:11-18.

I can get back to you on Wednesday if this is short.

    God bless,

    Hey Peyla,

As S Spencer has said this is not about salvation, through Jesus we have the gift of eternal life. Please do not be confused, the truth is in the Scriptures with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Many are looking to be taken to heaven before the great tribulation of Satan, the beast, and the false prophet.

We all will be judged Acts 17:31 Hebrews 9:27 2 Corinthians 5:10

There will be two resurrections; the first is when Jesus returns, after Satan, the beast, and the false prophet have their 3.5 years of tribulation, Revelation 13:1-5 Matthew 24:29-31 2 Thessalonians 2:1-5.

When Jesus returns with His angels, the first resurrection, the battle of Armageddon, the beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire, Satan is locked in the bottomless pit and Jesus will set up the kingdom, and those chosen, and faithful who are first resurrected will rule with Jesus, Revelation 16, 17, 18, 19. After the battle, in Revelation 20:5 we see Thrones and judgment is given to them who were in the first resurrection and given the honor to reign with Jesus during the 1000 years.

We see in Revelation 20:5-6 the rest of the dead lived not until after the 1000 years and the blessing on those who will be priests of God who will reign with Jesus in the millennium on earth, not heaven. There will be different rewards for the saved who will live in eternity with God and Jesus.

In Daniel 12:2-3 we see some will shine greater than others and also, we see those in this resurrection, there will be those who will awake to everlasting life, and some who will awake to everlasting contempt. We also see in John 5:28-29 and Matthew 25:31-46 what we see in the white throne judgment, Revelation 20:11-15 the rest of the dead, some will go into eternal life and some who are not found in the book of life is cast into the lake of fire.

There is much more to study, you should study for your conscience, we must not be deceived Matthew 24:4.

    God bless,

Thank you, I have not seen or heard that opinion, I just believe the meaning of it is without an answer until it is revealed. One thing we do know if you do not take the mark, whatever this mark is, you cannot buy or sell, so it must be visible, Revelation 13:17.

Just some thoughts on Revelation 12 it covers the past and the future up to the beginning of the 3.5 years of tribulation.

    Part 3

Satan then goes after the remnant of her seed those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The remnant of her seed is the faithful people here when the tribulation starts. Like the ones before us who have been persecuted and killed, the fathers and prophets, and after Jesus the thousands upon thousands who have been tortured and killed in the name of Jesus, why would the last be spared when the first was not?

This starts the 3.5 years of tribulation as we see in Revelation 13, in the original text it is Satan standing on the sand of the sea to give his power, his seat, and great authority to the beast. We see in Rev. 11:7 and Rev. 17:8 that this is the bottomless pit. There are not seven years as some say we see when Satan is cast down and the beast rises, he is given only 42 months, and that is 3.5 years Revelation 13:5. It all starts when Satan is cast down the short time he has is 3.5 years.

The end of the 3.5 years will be when the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled, Luke 21:24 Romans 11:25 Revelation 11:2. Then the second coming of Jesus, Matthew 24:29-31 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 Revelation 1:7 Revelation 3:11 Revelation 19:11-16 Revelation 22:12.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

This is what is coming, everyone will be tempted to take the mark of the beast, Jesus will give us if we are here the strength to say no even if we face death. Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 15:2

    continuation

Then, face to the environment extremely favorable, the pseudo messiah will make a deal with the Pope to build an universal Empire, a religious Empire, atually an anti-JESUS Empire or AntiChrist's Empire, and according Scriptures who will be the FIRST to rule this satanic Empire for 42 months is the Pope,as it is prophesied in Revelation 13:v.5.

Then will be given unto the Pope a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies;and also will be given power unto him to continue with his blasphemy for forty and two months(Rev.13:5)and he will open his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name-JESUS-,and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heavenly places in Christ( Ephesians 1:3-8).

And will be given unto the Pope to make WAR with the saints-( Revelation 13:7-9 combined with Dan.7:22&25-27),and to overcome them: power will be given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations, all that dwell upon the earth will worship him, those whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.

Rev. 13:v.9-10 say: 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. Here is the PATIENCE AND THE FAITH OF THE SAINTS.

THE WORST OF ALL WILL COME AND IS AT DOOR

But the worst of all, as soon as ends the FIRST period of 42 months of the Antichrist's Empire, ruled by the Pope Paulus VII,afterwards will assume the RUTHLESS false messiah, and he will rule the Antichrist's Empire for 1290 days(Dan.12:v.11),then will be established the Abomination of Desolation, the end of the current Dispensation arrived.

Among evangelical people of all denominations will be divisions, they will be hated of all nations for JESUS name's sake, among the believers many will be offended and will betray one another, and will hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise in the churches and will deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end,the same shall be saved.

THE COURT WHICH IS WITHOUT THE TEMPLE IS GIVEN TO THE GENTILES

Broters, remember of this: according Revelation 11:1-2,what we can see is that the outer court is given to the gentiles. The text talks about two witnesses being able to execute severe Judgments for 42 months/1260 days, Fire will proceed out of their mouth, and will devour the enemies( Revelation 11:18).

What will be the SCENARIOS within Jerusalem in this time to come soon?In fact,It is at the door.

THE FIRST SCENARIO THAT WILL BE SEEN IN JERUSALEM

In fact the false messiah will manifest himself in the holy city in short future. The supposed messiah, called Eliyahu(??),born in Israel decades ago, already living in the holy city for decades(this detail is very important to be known to everyone here of course),this MAN as soon as he manifests himself as a messiah in the days to come, he will begin to make great signs and lying wonders. This esoteric / spiritist/kabbalistic messiah of the Jews will do great signs and wonders, even will make fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, deceiving them that dwell on the earth by the miracles which he has power to do- 2Thessalonians 2:9 combined with Revelation 13:13-14.

THEN A SECOND SCENARIO WILL BE SEEN IN JERUSALEM

All kind of comunications, the midea in general, will comment the signs and lying wonders of the false messiah and will show them to the whole world, mainly by the chanels of television. In the other hand, Ministries and Ministers of all denominations and sects, and all religious leaders of all religious system that exist, they will preach and spread at the four corners of the earth saying Christ is in Jerusalem, yes,Christ,a false Christ, not JESUS.Then the whole world will hear by/through the leaders of the evangelical Churches and non evengelic too, that he is the Christ or he is the messiah, but it is the false, he is not the true messiah-JESUS.

The false will manifest himself very soon, after will come JESUS- 2Thessalonians 2:8.Take a look.
