Chris In the first two scripture mentioned water is not mentioned in Acts !: 5 For John truly baptised with water but ye shall saying separating the two in other words yes that is what John did but this is what will happen to you be baptised with Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. That statement is setting a contrast from past to future, also water baptism was done under the law administration. The doctine to be born again is laid out in Romans 10:9-11. In Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord how that he said John indeed baptised with water but in contrast but ye shall be baptised with Holy Ghost. Water baptism was administered under the law, after DAY OF PENTECOST grace administration its baptism by Holy spirit. There is a one time event in Acts 8 with Phillip and the man from Ethiopia where he took him down to water to be baptised but that was not the norm. At that the born again believers had the gift of holy spirit but the full knowledge of what they had was given to the apostle paul. That's why they were still practicing the law, even after the Church epistles were given the body of Christ was still many times caught up in legalistic behavior, this is expressed all through the church epistles. There is no where in the Church epistles where water baptism is required. Thats my understanding

Believing Romans 10:9+10 with the heart mind and mouth is the beginning, Romans 12:1+2 is the lifetime part we are always putting off the world and putting on the word.

Some other scriptural things to know the word repent means{to have a change of mind ] its not just an after thought its like I've made up my mind Acts 2:38, 3:19, 8:22, 17:30, 26:20 is to have a change of mind that indicates acceptance. We accepted that we need help then the action what to do Romans 10:9+10 then ye shall receive the promise from God His gift holy spirit. Remember God is more willing to help more than we are willing to accept, God will show you more as you pattern your life on It Is Written. The short answer to that is yes. But I don't look at it as "if a non-believer sins" because a non-believer is living in a continuous state of sin whether they realize it or not. They may be a "good person," but until the sin remedy is taken care of, they are still in that continuous state of sin.

Forgiveness of sin and salvation is offered to every human being through Jesus Christ. Romans 10:13 says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." That's a promise! But not everyone will receive Him.

Your question can be looked at in more than one way. In other words, a non-believer can become a believer and still not be forgiven. A person has to be born of God's Spirit in order to be forgiven and saved. Belief is important, but belief itself does not bring salvation. Receiving Jesus Christ and being born of His Spirit is what saves a person. With that salvation comes forgiveness.

A person who has been born of God's Spirit has been forgiven, justified, declared not guilty, and is now in right standing with God. That person has also been sanctified, set apart for God's purposes. A genuine believer is one who has surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, one who has made Him Lord of their life. That person is the one who is forgiven!

Hi Rick the only problem with your equation is God is the only righteous,just,eternal, all knowing and all powerful and omnipresent being that being said there is no judge above God. Hi Vernard The word saint in the church epistles is the word hagios which means holy seperate or set apart, it applies to primarily to people who God set apart spiritually, in all the church epistles in the first few verses you will notice called to be saints or to the saints it applies to us who God has separated from the darkness of this world Believing Romans 10:9+10 born again. Hi Donna I'm going to endeavor to answer this question which is a challenging one. First sin is broken fellowship with God that is the position all mankind is born in. Ephesians 2:1 we are born body and soul no spiritual connection period. Man still has free will thats where he has a choice John 3: 16-20 Gods word is the only true explanation for life the way God meant it to work. No matter if a man believes or not he will still be Judged by his deeds Romans 2:1-16. The only way to get out of the state of sin is believing Romans 10: 9+10. Man is driven by the deeds of the flesh the five senses which is sin until he receives Jesus Christ as lord and Saviour and receives holy spirit and renews His mind to the word his body is captive to the flesh which works against Gods Word 1 John 2:16. So man has free will and some love sin more than God knowingly. Prayer fully this helped God Bless

Even after we are saved, God doesn't promise everything will run smooth, but He does promise that He will be with us always.

I lost four friends and five family members in a matter of several months. It was a hard pill to swallow and I kept waiting for the next person to die, wondering if I was next.

I don't mean to sound flip, but these things do happen. Bad things happen, people die, it's all due to the fall in the Garden of Eden. And all we can do is pray for comfort, really, knowing that God's will is just, though we may not understand until we get to Heaven. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

The day of pentecost it became available for anyone via Romans 10:9+10 to be born again of Gods spirit i.e.Christ in you the Hope of glory Colossians 1:25-29 in the age of Grace this age we live in. In 1 Peter 1:10-12 this is so big the prophets were looking for it and the angels desired to look into. If you are truly saved, God will help you overcome these things, but you must do your part, or as some say, "Pray and then put legs on your prayers."

We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. We commit sins we do not even know about. We commit careless sins. And then there are the deliberate sins, including the ones you listed: Womanizing, lying, stealing. To wit, you are tempted to do each one; you know they are wrong, but you do them anyway. Being remorseful, praying, asking others to pray for you will not help you until you repent from committing these sins. When the devil comes whispering into your ears, rebuke him with "In Jesus's name, get behind me, Satan!" And he will flee. James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

And remember, when you sin, whether its a careless sin or deliberate always ask Christ to forgive you, even ask Him to forgive the sins you aren't aware of committin

Hi Joe Yes is the answer I know born again believers who were into some pretty odd stuff Confessed romans 10:9+10 got born again changed their lifestyles got healed and are great witnesses to Gods deliverance. Confess the sin once don't dwell on the past no profit God looks at the new you the spiritual so move on with the word. God Bless

Joe To answer your question yes I know of believers who are born again that were involved in some really weird stuff confessed Romans 10:9+10 changed in their hearts and lives according to Gods word and have great deliverance. All men and women are born dead in trespasses and sin without God and without hope, sin is broken fellowship with God when you Receive the word in your heart, you start to change, don't dwell on what you were or did in the past, 2 Corinthians 5:17 you are a new creation in Christ, so don't think about your past concentrate on present and future. The same usage of heart is used in Proverbs 3:5+6 notice verse 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear or respect the lord and depart from evil. We were always in the heart of God. What God did in Christ is Gods dream of the ages look at 1 Peter 4-12 the prophets looked for this time, the age of grace Gods family born again of His spirit by believing Romans 10:9+10 presenting us perfect making us righteous in Christ. To be baptised in His name is to confess Romans 10:9+10 which equals John 24:29 which equals Acts 1: 5-8 water has nothing to do with it its receiving god's Holy Spirit.

HEALING - I've had miracles in my own life. Almost four years ago, I couldn't walk due to an illness. Friends and family prayed. And not long after, I just got up and walked. My great-nephew was so sick in the womb that doctors advised abortion, but his mother refused. Family and friends prayed. And the symptoms left that child. And he was born healthy and thrives today at four years old. God is on the throne. He hears prayer. God can heal immediately Matthew 8:13 or after a period of time Mark 5:5. Remember, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He did while He walked the earth, he can do sitting at the right hand of God in Heaven. God bless.

In John 14 Jesus Christ is sharing the things that will become and now are available when an individual confesse Romans 10:9+10 and believes it in their hearts and does the will of God which is His Word, His Spirit takes up resident LITERALLY in our bodies and He begins to make the way He operates and wants you to do known. The more you walk the more He makes known. The real mind blower is verse 12 and this guy raised the dead, and He said us who believe will do greater works than he did. Now we can believe it or not.

Hello! Sorry to hear about your husband. Matthew 4:24 "And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them."

First, if he hasn't already, he needs to go to the doctor for antibiotics and ear drops. Second, here's something that relieved my pain when I had a toothache. I got it from a woman who used it for her little boy when he had the earache.

1. Wet a washcloth in super hot water and wring it out.

2. Put the washcloth in a mug and then put the mug in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds

3. Have your husband put the cup near or over his ear, being careful not to let the hot washcloth touch his skin. This will relieve the pain and drain the pus inside the ear.

4. Repeat until the earache is gone.

Remember, this home remedy is not to be used in place of going to the doctor for infection can linger without pain and lead to worse conditions.
