Are there going to be animals in heaven? My daughter says no, and she says we remember nothing once we're in Heaven. Is God not going to take care of ours pets?

Carlson, Your answer will depend on what you understand love to be. See 1 Cor 13 for a great definition of true brotherly love.

1 John 4:7-21 When you read this the answer to your question will be evident.

    Love loves everything.

    Hate hates everything.

    Love wins.

    Carleton,

It sounds like your place of fellowship separates the men from the women? That is very interesting because I have not heard of that in the modern church. Definitely, nothing wrong with that, as the early church did so. But you can surely understand what was going on back in the early church, and Paul's need to give them correction.

God is a God of order. Like music that must harmonize and flow and have pattern. Music that has no order is just noise.

The order of man is that he is the glory of a woman and God is the glory of man. If we follow Gods order we harmonize with the will of God. God will work through us when we walk in harmony with Him. Rom 8:28

    My soul prospers how?
  • William Dando - In Reply on Genesis 2 - 5 years ago
Your question is framed because of your concept of time. Time is simply your awareness of a point in eternity. God lives in eternity where you have no concept to describe it. Like trying to imagine a color not found in a rainbow. God says he has always and will always be. Only by faith can this be understood.

One other (possible) interesting tidbit. Our Canadian churches mostly seat the men on the left side while almost all of our US churches seat the men on the right. Most all of our congregations have baby rooms on both sides of the aisle.

    Hi Pa Ba

So do you disagree with Deborah's position?

Please Bring forward your scripture and put it in its proper content for reasoning.

    Thank you.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Judges 5 - 5 years ago
    Pa Ba,

There are two pieces of scripture that cover this. First of all, in 1 Corinthians 14:34, it says let your women keep silence in the churches: The word woman in scripture is also the word for wife, which meets the criteria for here.

Let your women, or wives, keep silence in the churches:

What does this mean? Well, in the early church, they had the men on one side and the women on the other. Men could not be with women, and women could not be with men. So somebody is up there teaching, and somebody's wife is over on the other side of the room going "Hey Fred, do you agree with that? What do you think?" And they are talking across the room.

She's not permitted to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. That's back in Genesis 3:16 under the woman. Remember after they sinned, God said I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception. In sorrow you shall bring forth children and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee.

So to solve this problem in the church, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14:35 "And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church." It's not that they can't speak at all. It's just that they were being disruptive.

The second piece of scripture in 1 Timothy 2:12 says, "But I suffer not, that is I do not allow a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man. So we've got two things here: I do not allow a woman to teach. There's one. It doesn't say anything about men. Nor, to usurp authority over the man, which is why they shouldn't teach.

The term usurp authority over the man, to usurp authority is the word authenticate. And it means that the woman is not to take the authenticity of man, what the male was created to do.

On break at work. Just for fun, it just occurred to me that I have never owned a TV. Once around 35-38 years ago I bought a VCR for my roommates TV and shared in the use of the TV. We had zero reception and cable wasn't big in the early 80's.

I think this was God's leading in my life looking back.

Is the verse about living in huts still observed today? Or is this only Jewish law?
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Judges 5 - 5 years ago
Pa Ba, may the Spirit grace you with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Most everyone looks at the words in the scriptures as words that have a natural meaning, and they do; but, the WORDS were to be absolute truth in the SPIRITUAL MEANING. John 6:63

For women to be silent in the church and be taught by their husband has a far greater SPIRITUAL meaning than taught by the wisdom of men.

God is no respector of persons, the scriptures have gender in them to be used as instruction. God IS SPIRIT, spirit has no gender; but, God is always referred to in the male gender. The woman is referred to in the female gender. SPIRITUALLY the woman is the wife of Christ; whether you are a male or female you are the woman, Christ wife. The church is YOU; Christ is your husband (whether you be male of female); therefore we ALL (THE WOMAN) are to be silent in the church (ourselves) and let our husband (CHRIST) teach US.

You will be persecuted in brick and mortar churches that only have worldly wisdom.

John 3:16 | View whole chapter

For God so loved THE WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    1 John 4:11

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

The 2 words, The World, means Everybody.

Everybody is a candidate to enjoy Gods love and affection; His guidance; and much more.

Use the Search Box. Search these words: astrologers, stars, prognosticators, consult

There is a DEATH sentence for those who mislead others.

King Saul consulted with a witch. His persistence got his kingdom taken from him and given to David.

See, the Bible has all of these things.

If you want a daily word from God, on any issue; start reading His Word, and talking to Him on a daily basis.

I was an astrologer. You don't want to mess with that stuff. Too many demons follow your interest and "make things happen" so you'll believe in it. If you have any astrology paraphernalia in your house, destroy it. Acts 19:19

Adam, I cannot tell you what you should do or not do, I can only share with you findings. First, I will not take the shot for THE most important reason. The "vaccines" were developed with aborted fetal tissue! My other reasons are after the "dust settled" I started seeing signs that something fishy about this pandemic. Yes people are dying but people die everyday but it seemed to me people were dying only from covid! That's all I heard, which made me realized there's a lot of fear-mongering going on. With all this talk of the Great Reset, it makes sense now. NWO

Long story short the vaccine came out way too quickly plus I hear talk of altering DNA. That's bad! I decided I'm going to let God's perfect design do it's work i.e. build my immune system. Praying for you Brother, Sean

There's a story about a prophet who wouldn't deliver a message, so God used a donkey to speak it.

Use the Search Box to locate that. Key in "donkey". It's Old Testament.

If God be for you, who can be against you ... this is what I heard the Holy Spirit say to me as i read Psalms 125. The Holy Spirit is a gift, it is God who guides us into all truth, and we are asked to trust God. His ways are not our ways but are those of the Father who cares for us; always. Amen

1 Corinthians 1:10. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 2:12-13. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1 Corinthians 3:19. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

1 Corinthians 3:21,23 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

1 Corinthians 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

    Thanks for your response.

Even though we may not agree on the covid vaccine, everyone should have the freedom to consider it for their situation.

Walk in peace ....and may God protect you, your family, and friends.

Mark ,i think your anger is definately justified ,that might be because i feel it too lol ! However there isnt really much of an excuse for too many people now that the Bible is so widely available ,we have some Iranians in our congregation who were unable to get hold of a Bible while they were in Iran ,some peachers even now will try to tell people that the Bible is full of mysteries and secrets that not every one can understand thereby inflating themselves by saying that they can tell you all about it and you just need to listen to them ,God is not the author of confusion ,then there are people who claim to be interested but dont want to make any effort to read for themselves and are happy to rely on someone elses opinions and interpritations ,thankfully you are obviously not like them ,may God bless you .
