Christians celebrate Easter because Jesus was resurrected on a Sunday, the 1st day of the week.

To meet the 3 days and nights in the earth....Jesus could NOT have died on Friday.

So since he remained in the earth for 3 days and nights...he died before Friday. We also know he rested on Saturday (Sabbath). He even honored the Sabbath in death - very important example for us.

So a possible timeframe is Jesus died on Thursday, late day, and remained in the earth:

Thursday night

Friday morning

Friday night

Saturday morning

Saturday night

Sunday Morning for a period of time

Dear Eric Lopez ,dont forget ! Even the best of us Christians are still human ! We are all sinners and in need of Christs sacrifice for our salvation ! I am always sad for Saul ,some people think we shouldnt be but i cant help it ,i remember when i was in the world without God before i was saved ,its not a nice feeling, we are also told that as Christians we shouldnt rush to judge other Christians , we must always remember our own sinfullness and if we say we have none we lie ! To Joanne Jones. People will tell you its ok to kill in certain situations but, you quoted what God said about it. Thou shalt not kill, no exceptions there. Matthew 5:39, Romans 12:17, Romans 12:21. These scriptures speak against self-defense and so do these; 1 Thessalonians 5:15, (See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.) to be a Christian is to be Christ like hear is what Jesus did, ( 1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

Did Solomon set the standard for people to confess their sins at the house of the Lord or was this already a practice with the tabernacle? Also the practice of praying before battle for example?

"Easter" is only found in the Bible once. In Acts, I think concerning James being killed and Peter in prison waiting for Roman holiday (Easter) to be over.

The Lord sprung Peter out of jail that very night!

Melchizedek was High Priest until Jesus ascended to Heaven immediately after his resurrection.

Remember he told Mary not to touch him until he had ascended to the Father in heaven? It would have defiled Him.

Jesus is our High Priest seated at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for all saints.

I would put that scripture into Google and read down the lists on commentary of it.

Hello, I assume you mean Judaism- they don't believe Jesus has come yet. If you mean Jew the race then of course a % are Christians and a % are atheists and believe whatever else. Anyone who doesn't believe in and genuinely follow Jesus Christ is lost.

Just to give a short reply to your question. I think what is more important to perceive is "do I love God"? God's mercy, compassion, lovingkindness, forgiveness is endless. For God is love and life. God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked and want's people to turn, repent, from their wickedness/sin and live by His Will which is Holy and pure. As said "Return to me and I will return unto you saith the Lord of hosts".

As even satan was one of His angels who turned against Him, along with many others, who are now His main adversaries.

God hates sin and those who live in willful sin are not close to Him. Although, God knows everything and that one who is a sinner today may be a saint tomorrow. The Lord searches hearts. Though many shall die in there sin and not acknowledge God or Jesus Christ.

He loves His Creation so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for us. By His grace and love for us.

Keep reading the Holy Bible. Give your life to Jesus Christ if you have not already done so. Pray from the heart. The truth shall set you free.

Why did the scripture said the two angels were seen in a vision?

Then just looking at what came to mind on Psalms 23. In that one version, DRA 1899 version, Psalms 23 is Psalms 24 in most, or all, other Bibles. And Psalms 22 is Psalms 23 in most, or all, other Bibles. As I won't spend the time finding where that one off number started from in that version. Good note on seeing the differences though.

Your questioned interested me. Ecclesiastes ends at chapter 12 as you stated. The book of Ecclesiasticus, an Apocrypha book, has 51 chapters. Did you just mix them up? As they are very close in title name. Searching a little bit I did not see Ecclesiastes going past 12. Though you may have some information I don't.

Now on Psalms 23 I looked up and did find at least one version, the DRA 1899 edition, in where Psalms 23 has 10 verses but they are all, 1-10, completely different from the KJV, and most others, for that chapter of Psalms. I have no idea where that Psalms 23 came from in that version of the Bible. Interesting.
