Verse 12-Lot may have moved to Sodom because it was a prosperous place materially. He faced the threat of losing all his good here. We want to make sure that we choose to put spiritual things ahead of material things.

The flowers are arrayed in beautiful colors and various designs but these are easy trampled over or die quickly. If Jehovah God take such care of the flowers and in making them beautiful, how much more so will he take care of us who have been made in his image.

What is the motive for this campaign to discredit Jesus's divinity? Why do you celebrate when you feel you have delivered your case? Does this actually come from God, or does it actually come from the great deceiver?

Some of these comments even have a sense of pride- as if demeaning Jesus is an accomplishment to be proud of. Whomever is behind this campaign seems quite closed off to just normal, non-distorted interpreations of the Word.

Shame on you and everyone who is attacking and trying to discredit the Bible and demean Jesus. I find these posts disturbing and even sickening to think that Christians are giving into a lie so easily without question. But the truth will always expose the lie. Jesus is Lord and Jesus is divine and Jesus is the Son and Jesus is one with the Father and Holy Spirit, Jesus is the I AM, Jesus is God just as the Bible says.

    Hi Tatjana,

Please note that are still some years left before the antichrist is revealed based on Daniel 11:13, and this is after the wars in Daniel 11:6-12 have taken place. I believe that the opening of the second seal will be the beginning of the wars that are written in Daniel 11:6-45, since even with this 'virus' the world is still at peace.

    Deuteronomy 18:18

    King James Version

18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

    Jesus spoke his Father's word.

    The Father spoke through him.

The Father is the one that doeth the works. Who is the Father? The Holy Spirit ( John 4:24, Leviticus 11:44)

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Thank you Sacha for those references, which I looked up - very precious indeed. However, it seems that you have given me those references in respect to my answer to Neil, which answer of course has since been deleted.

When finding the common denominator in those verses you gave, it seems that you are trying to alert me to the fact that Jesus had come in the flesh, in the "likeness of sinful flesh". To this (that He came in the flesh, i.e. as a human) is what I fully believe & have written much about. The point/question that Neil made was "did Jesus inherit the sin nature from Mary?" He wasn't questioning that Jesus was Human (the Son of Man) but whether the sin nature that is in all of us from Adam, was also the inescapable lot of the Man Jesus?

To this I replied (& which you saw before the comment was removed), was that I believed that Jesus was conceived entirely of the Holy Spirit without human contribution. That is, that Mary was the vehicle (the means) by which the Father would bring forth His Son into the World, in fulfilment of the prophecy that went before Him. Is this what you're questioning, Sacha? Then I would welcome your thoughts on Jesus' conception & how you would arrive at it. Just a clue: 1 Corinthians 15:45-47.

And of course, thoughts from others, whether Jesus' birth was without a sin nature, or with a sin nature (i.e. His Nature was already fallen by virtue of Mary but He did not sin like us, as He resisted every temptation from Satan & of the flesh)?

What are pratical ways to encourage early teens to read the bible?
  • Carleton - In Reply on Revelation 12 - 5 years ago
Hello Andrew, The reformation brought forth some men in the power of God that are well remembered. However these men did not reform anything. The faith once delivered was already present and always has been since the Apostles built on the rock of Jesus Christ the Son of God. It is on this foundation of faith that I was baptized into Church of God by water after proving my spirit and hearing my testimony amongst others who are on the same foundation as the Apostles and true Church throughout the ages which remains complete to this very day. I do not think you know her, because you have looked elsewhere and found nothing and created a new story that is outside of outside of the bride of Christ, His Church which is Holy. I am properly baptized into this Holy place. This home is a refuge for my soul and an accountability of my life, a place to raise my family, a place to see children surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as God calls them to repentance in His time. I am free, free indeed! Outside of our time together in this race where we have met and I am happy to have done so, I am not anchored to your understanding or your hope or your instructions in the Gospel of Jesus Christ because we are not brethren and I run this race in the peace of the Gospel happily. I doubt you can provide any continuity throughout the ages of your Church and people that interpret the scriptures as you do as Chris tried to show you.

    Carleton
