Luke 1 details The Virgin Mary's firstborn, Jesus.

Matthew 1, details Mary's husband, Joseph, and his part in Jesus's coming into this world.

    LUKE chapter 1

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? [Mary is still a virgin]

35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

    1 Corinthians 7:14

The children of believing parents are "holy," meaning "set apart." God considers such a child to be "clean." That does not mean "sinless," but they are still legally clean in His sight. They are therefore acceptable in His presence and have the opportunity to have true success in life as a result. They have the chance to believe God, to cast their lot with Him, and to be spared the horror of having to face many of the evils in this world.

But, just as parents can lose their sanctification, so children who are set apart can also lose their status. Law plays no favorites. It does not care whether one is male or female, or thirteen, nineteen, or ninety-three. If a ninety-three year old male jumps off the 80th floor of the Empire State Building, which direction will he go? What if a 16-year old girl does the same thing? The law of gravity does not play favorites.

Law does not care what one's race, sex, or age are. If parents who are sanctified break the laws of God persistently, they will lose their sanctification. If a seventeen-year-old does the same thing, even though his parents are sanctified and a child is held to be clean because of God's judgment, he can lose his too.

For a child who is sanctified, even though unconverted, there is still a great deal that he will be held accountable for. "To whom much is given, much is also required." Jesus does not say that this only applies to converted parents.

The child's sanctification gives him the advantage of access to God. Because of that access, he has the guidance of God available to him, and from that guidance he can form a proper vision of what he wants to do with his life ( Proverbs 29:18). This allows him to see what he wants to do in terms of conduct-what he wants to pursue, the way he wants to do work, the attitude he has toward other people, parents, neighbors, fellow-employees, etc.

    Thank you once again Andrew.

To re-state: I certainly don't believe in a "triune co-equal triple god". There is only One God from Whom goes His Word & His Spirit. And John 1:1 states that that Word was with God & was God. And then verse 14 states that the Word was made flesh. That Word has now been brought into the World as Jesus. So who is this Jesus? Even Colossians 1:15-19 tells us that Jesus (the Word) was involved in creation & now is the Head of the Body.

You said that 'God created everything in Genesis 1'. "He spoke it into existence. The Son of God didn't fall out of His mouth." Was Jesus the Son of God in creation? No. Only the Word of God was spoken in creation. But God chose to send forth His Word "in due time" clothed in flesh for the suffering of death. I know nothing of the "beguilement of Rome & her sorcerers", but the Scriptures reveal who Jesus is, "the Word of God made man". If this simple yet profound Truth can be made to mean something else, then I would have to query so much of the Bible that might have other such secret hidden meanings, making it altogether useless to me, leaving me floundering in confusion.

Even 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." "Three, Three". Why is it even in there, if it were not important to reveal the three-fold Nature of the One God? And that to me (without the intrusion of the supposed trickery of Rome), is clear evidence of a Triune God: One God revealed in His Fullness: Father, Word & the Holy Spirit - all Three in operation for the salvation of mankind & no doubt, in the final judgement upon the World. Blessings.

    Greetings in Jesus' name, Wenmar.

I likewise do not believe the poison needle is the mark...yet. Noone is being killed for not taking it, and yea it is something people will be cognizant of doing. They won't be able to stick you, and say "ha ha tricked you, gave you the mark of the beast!"

That said, a Christian certainly does not partake of any pharmakeia, but rather trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ for their health ( Psalm 91 & Isaiah 53:5). So a Christian certainly wouldn't partake of any vaccine. I strongly encourage you not to, by the Holy Ghost.

    On a more important subject:

Have you obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

    Revelation 13:8

    King James Version

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Does this mean there was a lamb up in heaven with it's throat slit before God said, "let there be light." ?

    Of course not.

    John 17:5

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

As you said, of a truth, all Christians (born again of the word 1Peter 1:23/ John 3:3 and baptized in Jesus' name and filled with His Spirit John 3:5/ Acts 2:38)

had glory with the Father before the world was. Does this mean we were physically or spiritually there with the Father in heaven? Of course not.

The term "pre-existent" is an oxymoron.

    Noone has ever pre-existed oneself.

If only people would (as your name suggests) read their bible, and stop listening to deceived men (theologians/ lying "pastors") they would be free indeed - John 8:31-32.

    Isaiah 46:10

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

It was over before it began.

Yes, John Chapter 14:26 with some surrounding read the Bible verses.

14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's that sent me.

14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your jeart ne troubled, neither let it be afraid.

14:28 Ye have heard now how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said , I go unto the Father for my Father is greater than I.

14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

    Luke 1 v 15 , 16 , 17

Here it speaks of John the Baptist, and Jesus said John was the greatest of all the prophets.

Verse 15 says John was filled with the Holy Ghost from his mother's womb . So John did not live a life of sin . Yet John is not The Son of God like Jesus , because John has a fleshy father called Zechariah.

Jesus father was God via the Holy Spirit .

Two very different births both living Holy lives .

Jesus is the Son of God not a prophet like John . John expressed this at Jesus Baptism.

Jesus Born of God and God being with him . Yet only the Son of God .

Not God himself . Two distinct identities.

If you asked Jesus for his address then it would have been from Nazareth.

If you asked God the father for his address it would be in heaven , eternally, With no limitations.

People often say Jesus was before the world .

Yes so is anyone born of God . If a person is born of God , God is with them (God does not have limitations Of this world but is eternal) . Jesus was born of God in a way John was not .

No man can say I was before the world unless he is born of God .

John was the best of all and acknowledged he was not worthy to unloose Jesus boot straps .

    I hope this helps some , I don't want to write a book .

    No worries Chris,

    You only get two admonitions.

God has a 2 strike law.

However, to answer your earnest questions..& to reiterate what the Scripture shows forth:

    We aren't splitting hairs.

The deity of the man Christ Jesus is His Father (God). This does not make Him a separate god "of a triune co-equal triple god".

Where you and I differ is when you read the word Godhead: you understand it to be plural, when Godhead is a singular noun. In Spanish bibles it is written deidad; which simply means deity.

Likewise, when you read the word; Word in John 1:1 and 1:14 you understand it to mean: son or Christ.

Such is the beguilement of Rome and her sorcerers/TheoLOGIANs who have changed the meaning of words.

I certainly am no better than you, as I use to believe the same, until I was washed from those lies by the word of God.

When John 1:1 says: "and the Word was God."

I understand it as it is written, that the Word was God (the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ).

How did God create everything in Genesis 1? He spoke it into existence. The Son of God didn't fall out of His mouth.

    1 John 5:7-8 KJV

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

These verses are not speaking about a "trinity". Rather verse 7 is speaking about God the Father (who is the Word and the Holy Spirit). And verse 8 is speaking about the baptism of water and Spirit ( John 3:5) by which you have the blood covering. It is a blood covenant.

Finally I submit to you to meditate on these verses of Scripture:

    1 John 5:20-21

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

    Sincerely,

    Andrew

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ our Passover Lamb for ever and ever!

Indeed Sasha, it truly is a blessing to encounter someone of like minded faith, that has come away from the beguilement of Rome and her sorcerers.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. For we, of our own will cannot change anyone's mind. Only the Holy Ghost can. For one man sows, another waters, but God giveth the increase.

Of a truth, the doctrine of Christ is quite simple when you receive it, but only the one true God (the Father the Word and Holy Ghost) can reveal it unto babes.

This is why Jesus told Peter after he answered Jesus saying "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

    Matthew 16:16-17

And avoid foolish questions and contentions as brother Paul instructed brother Titus in Titus 3:9-11 9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

    10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

We are just called to speak as the oracles of God sending His word out like a sonar wave, and depending on how people respond we either continue speaking or reject them and leave it between them and the Lord after the second warning.

Much Love to you, Sacha , in Jesus' name.

P.S. just to confirm we are brothers and fellow soldiers: you have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and have been filled with the Holy Ghost (as evidenced by speaking in an unknown tongue)?

    Part 2:

According to law, the priest was the only one who was able to eat it, because after he changed the bread off with fresh bread, he would eat the old bread himself. So the priest took it and said here, take the shewbread. You are hungry. You need it. And Jesus is saying you Pharisees don't get it. It is not legalism.

Mark 2:27: And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

He says look, God gave you the Sabbath Day as a gift. Did you ever notice that they, and we, still don't take that gift? We refuse to take a day off to get away from involvement with the world and just rest and focus on the things the Lord.

So Jesus said look, even in your own rules, because they had rules, but if the Pharisees were walking down the road and their horse fell into a ditch, they could pull it out.

You say well how can they do that? Because they made the rule that they could. They made the rules! So Jesus said you are in the wrong spirit here.

The Sabbath was given to man as a gift. Man wasn't made so that he would fulfill the Sabbath. The Sabbath was given to man. Obviously, if there's an emergency, what are you going to do? You can't call an ambulance today, you will have to wait till tomorrow because, you know, it is the Sabbath Day.

Lastly, Mark 2:28 says Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Wow, what a statement! He's in charge of the Sabbath, and what He does is right.

    I hope this helps you!
  • Jesse - In Reply on Mark 2 - 5 years ago
    Alec Ford,

Those verses tell us about the Confrontation over the Sabbath. I'll give you my understanding of those verses in two parts as there is not enough space in one post. This will be part 1.

First of all, in Mark 2:23, if your text says corn, they didn't have corn there in those days. It was grain fields on the Sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain. And by the way, you are allowed to do that. The law allows you to do that. In Mark 2:24, you have to understand that the Pharisees were there to evaluate. They said you are reaping the harvest.

No! The law allowed that if you are walking along, you can pull heads of grain off and eat it if you are hungry, but you can't harvest it on the Sabbath, because you're not allowed to work on the Sabbath.

So the Pharisees said, "We consider that harvesting!" In fact, there were incidents where people would walk along the ground and step on a stock and some of the grain would fall off the stock and they got them for harvesting. Legalists!

In Mark 2:25, Jesus said to them, "Have you never read?" He is speaking to religious people. And He is saying "haven't you ever read the Old Testament, the TANAK?" Have you never read what David did? This would be 1 Samuel 21:1-6. Have you never read what David did, when he had need and was hungry, and he, and those that were traveling with him?

In Mark 2:26, the phrase "into the house of God" used in this verse means into the tabernacle.

So you see, He says David and his band of men were traveling, and they were hungry. And they come across the temple and they said to the priest do you have any food here? Well, the only food I have is the shewbread, the presentation bread, the 12 loaves of bread that represent the 12 tribes of Israel.

Sacha, it is a pleasure to hear words of a pure heart. There are verses that can be used out of context to complicate the simplicity of Christ. Here is one that cannot be perverted or twisted. No debate hear stand strong in the truth.

John.14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

As no one person is exactly the same as another. Just as well there is many different beliefs to interpreting the Scriptures. Which is said to have no private interpretation. ( 2 Peter 1:20-21.

As this has been discussed before I will put my portion. I do not say Jesus Christ is God the Father. He is the only begotten Son of God. Though He was more than just a "sinless" man. He was part man part God. Born of a virgin who was conceived by the Holy Ghost ( Matthew 1:20, Luke 1:30-35. Even at age twelve He astonished people who heard Him. He knew God was His Father then Luke 2:47-49. To me showing He did not just receive the Holy Ghost(Spirit of God) at His water baptism in the Jordan. If the sign of the Spirit descending from Heaven like a dove was for just a sign for John or for His supernatural powers only God knows. John 1:32-34.

If some think that believing Jesus Christ is more that just a man is taking something away from the Father. God wants us to honor His Son as He is the only way to the Father. Scriptures pointing to Him being more than "just" a man John 3:12-13, John 3:33-35, John 3:38, John 8:54-58, John 17:3-5, Colossians 1:12-20, Hebrews 1:1-4.

Also titles Jesus Christ, the Son of God, uses like Alpha and Omega(first and last) in the beginning of Revelation. The Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, being King of kings and Lord of Lords Revelation 17:14. Also the Word of God and King of kings and Lord of lords given to the man riding the white horse out of Heaven. I believe is Jesus Christ.

Besides all of the miracles He performed. Him being transfigured on the mountain Matthew 17:2.

There is one True Holy Living Almighty God. Saying the Father, Word, and Holy Ghost are one. Also as how many verses I have that state the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of God, and the Holy Ghost are in us after being saved. To me showing Jesus Christ is the Word of God and one with God and the Holy Ghost.

Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven.

Thank you Andrew for your response. And lest I suffer a further admonition, I submit the following (maybe in conclusion):

    A. I can appreciate your understanding, where the example given by Paul of the Assyrian siege was to alert the Corinthians that the unknown tongue was given as a sign (to those that believe not), but it was also given as a condemnation to their improper use of the Gift, when an uninterpreted Tongue has no value in the Church & would be spoken as an unintelligible sound to all, as it was heard by Ephraim in captivity. And that was the whole point of 1 Corinthians 14.

    B. I quoted the early Church fathers purely to show that the Trinity teaching didn't emanate from Constantine or others, but was believed right from the apostolic era.

That was interesting that you mentioned, "There is no issue with the divinity of Christ. The deity of Christ is His Father: God." Lest we're splitting hairs, are we not saying the same thing? That for Christ to be Divine, He would have his origins from within the Godhead? That the Trinity teaching speaks of One God from Whom emanates His Word & His Spirit - not three separate deities, but One God who is only One & manifests Himself in Three personalities. That any One of them cannot think, will or act independently or contrary to the other, since the Three are One (in Essence, in Purpose, in Mind).

I don't support the Oneness (Jesus Only) belief, which generally believe that Jesus is now only seen as God, having assumed the place of the Father & the Spirit.

That the "Word was made flesh", I believe was at His conception in Mary's womb & not at His baptism. And to state: 'Jesus had only one Father - God, from Whom Jesus, the Word, proceeded & was born of God to be made Man'. Jesus was eternally God's Word but chosen to be made flesh for our sakes. The point being: did Jesus come from within the Divine to be Man, or was He specially created by God & then infilled with the Divine at His Baptism? Blessings.
