GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was put into prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the GOSPEL of the kingdom of God.

(vs 15) And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye and believe the GOSPEL.

    Repentance is not the GOSPEL.

Psalms 52:1 Why BOASTEST thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man; the goodness of God endureth continually.

Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his GOODNESS and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the GOODNESS of GOD leads to repentance.

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, Lo there! behold, the kingdom of God is WITHIN you.

    THIS IS THE GOSPEL!

Colossians 1:27 ..... which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory.

You are baptised (not by physical water; but with living water) INTO CHRIST!

The baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire Matthew 3:11

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Saul is dead. Sad that his son Jonathon died as he was closed to David. Curious to read further if now opportunity for David to become king of Israel. Even in the eye of death Saul rather die by his own hand than the enemy.
  • How to use This Website Search Engine on Philippians 1 - 5 years ago
Tell me why we don't go at the Bible the same way? Dig, dig deeper, read commentaries ON HERE or read commentaries on Google. Just type scripture verse and type, commentary after it.

The Holy Spirit is your TEACHER. Ask Him. If you'll sit still long enough and be quiet, you will get answers.

    PRAY for a TEACHABLE spirit.

Get a KJV Study Bible that has Center of Each page, reference columns: with the abc notes imbedded within the scriptures. Those send you to other scriptures that EXPAND the meanings or reveal a prophesy.

Back Arrow out of this room to the Search Box. Go to the top.

Put a scripture in it or just a word (like worms) hit the arrow. The search engine will pull up ALL verses with 'worms' in it.

Touch or click the verse and it will highlight yellow.

Scroll downward to the Commentary Box. Click that. It will show you what the scholars interpret that scripture to mean. If there isn't one, then exit and do the same thing on GOOGLE. Type the scripture and spell out Commentary, or History, or Teaching.

Questions answered. It makes studying fun and interesting.

You cannot get lost. Use the back arrow or just exit this site and come back in Again.

There's a quickie link from KJV to Google to help you find a scripture you're unsure about. Access that through the SEARCH BOX. Like: "Many are called but few are chosen."

Learn to study! For yourselves. Share what you find, on here. IT IS FUN! God speaks to us through His Word.

When you sit down to study: you pray: "I HAVE THE SAME MIND OF CHRIST !!" I receive it by faith right now. God watches over His Word To Perform it.

    Habakkuk 2:2-4.

You will find your Identity in the Bible.

You gotta get plugged into the Holy Spirit. Depend on Him. Pursue Him. Be quiet and Listen To Him.

Absolutely! Some of us are living Jobs life.

He was a righteous man. Yet he learned some things about abiding love; the magnificent power of God.

We should all read the part about God's storehouses of rain, hail, snow; it's relevant now.

JOB 38. (Read all of it)

22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

    23. Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

Little prairie chickens hide in the bushes; always eyes downward looking for their food. Never looking UP at what is above their heads.

The eagle flys far above the ground, miles above. His vision is so acute and great, he can spot his food at a very great distance. His prey never sees what hit them.

We feed on Gods Word to gain wisdom, spiritual discernment: knowledge of the Holy. We will NEVER see the enemy if we don't consume Gods Word like it was a buffet of our most favorite foods. If you want 2nds and 3rds, God will provide to satisfy. HUNGER after righteousness, and it will be given.

    This is the TERMINAL GENERATION.

    Richard,

I was just getting ready to post a reply but I see no need to add anything to what you just said. Amen!

I think many people are being ruined today by this teaching. My personal belief is that the "tongues" that are being taught today are not the tongues of the bible!

    Jason,

I don't know of any place in scripture that keeps a woman from preaching. I think both men and women are free to preach the gospel message.

However, even though a woman is free to preach all she wants, she is not allowed to be in a position of authority over the men in the church. In other words, she is not allowed to pastor a church where she would be placed in a position of authority over the men.

Therefore, she cannot teach. A pastor must be both a preacher and a teacher. I would have to take some time in the scripture to give you a more detailed answer but would be more than happy to do so if you wish. If you just want some verses, I can give you those. But if you want an explanation, I would need a little more time.

As for marrying a divorced lady, that is debatable, but not able to answer without knowing the circumstances of her divorce, and I'm not going to ask.

Everyone & all the universe is Christian, proof by Jesus said "before the world was", Saint John 17:3-5, proof by His resurrection-ascension into heaven, eye witnessed, Saint Luke 24:51-53, is clear proof of the Holy source of life & everyone's salvation forevermore.

GOD did not make death, only "Love thy neighbor as thyself, 10 Commandments "Moses wrote of me" Saint John 5:46, & the Lord's Prayer, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven", proof by resurrected-ascent into heaven Son Jesus to live forever, eye witnessed, Saint Luke 24:51-53, is the same for "born again" Christians, Saint John 3:3-9.

Andrew, amen amen. It truly is Acts 2:38. As we follow Christ w love.Even the Holy Spirit asked me to tell others about having the indwelling of his Spirit. Many ppl think they have it , & they really don't. We can not live for God in the flesh. The Holy spirit indwelling is a supernatural birth from above. I spoke in tongues too. Praising Jesus daily
  • FormerHanley - In Reply on Mark 3 - 5 years ago
My small church speak in tongues. We pray in the Spirit. It is speaking to God. Only God understands. The "gifts of the Spirit" are totally separate. When receiving the Holy Ghost, THAT is the gift, not the utterance in the book of Acts. I have witnessed ppl speaking in tongues when receiving the Holy Ghost.

    Hello Andrew,

Just to reply on one of your statements. As living proof(myself) you do not need to speak in "unknown tongues" to know you have received the Holy Ghost. The second detail, about receiving the Holy Ghost, you stated is much more accurate and important than the first about "unknown tongues". Helping us to repent from sins of the flesh and follow the Lord walking after the Spirit.

In Acts 2 you will see it is stated "other tongues" and the people who surrounded the building understood them speaking in "our own tongues"(or their own native language). Which means it was not "unknown" babble. Also in ( 1 Corinthians 12 as it just being a specific Gift of the Holy Ghost. That not everyone receives who has the Holy Ghost. Then in ( 1 Corinthians 14 it states if "there be no interpreter" to keep silent in the church with your "tongue" gift.

It just saddens me to see some people state that you have to speak in "tongues" to know you have the Holy Ghost which is a false teaching.

Not knowing if that is what you preach. Hopefully I will receive a reply and thank you for your time.

    God Bless.

As a follower of Jesus,we must have very thick skin. That's because of the rocks that are hurled at us daily.Even by those that read the Bible.Words matter and we will have to give an account of every one of them.

Jesus taught in Mark 9:39-41 about the attitude of a servant. When Jesus bent down to write in the sand twice, what did He write? ( John 8:6:8:8)Jesus recorded my sins and the day He came looking for me and I accepted Him as savior & they where to be never remembered and I became a new man.Was set free saved by the grace of God.The Holy Spirit teaches me all about Gods word.Read the next verse in 2 Tim 3:17 before assuming that a person is an internet prophet. That's the division I wrote about in my post.I posted what was laid on my heart.I spoke the truth. We need to realize that we may be the only Bible that the world will ever read.If we live it. It will show.If we love it.It will show.If we treat all as Jesus commands, with love.It will shine.A house divided can not stand. My first post ever:I wrote of my experience with a church as an evangelist. The Macedonian Call Acts 16:9.And the gospel was presented as comfortable and private. No coming forward as to embarrass anyone of their decision for Christ. That was not a preparation for what Christ followers must and will endure.Jesus sure did not have a very comfortable life being the King of Glory as a man here in this world of pain.He hurt and wept.He taught and prayed. He read the word of God to the people in the temple. Are we not to do as Jesus did? Jesus associated, loved and cared for those who were cast out and least desirable. That's why wrote about denominations. The Gospel is very simple, and man makes it difficult. Please don't twist another mans heart for God by the words that divide. My heart,it breaks daily for a lost and dying world. That's my focus. My Love and Prayers towards all.Our work here is not done.Don't let up or give in.

Danette, The book of Job brings up hard questions that are difficult to answer. Why did God allow Satan to take and destroy all he had, his wealth all the cattle and animals, and his family, and for God to allow this on a righteous man like Job? Job had the patience to trust God even while going through the suffering he was enduring. We need that kind of faith. Everyone around Job was convinced he had done a great sin even his wife told him, Job 2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

God may allow trouble and tribulations to come into our lives, but as hard as they may be, we must trust God and remember what our promise is. Our promise is not wealth and prosperity that some cling to, leading many in the way of this world and away from God. Our promise is eternal life by the faith given by the death burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of what we face in the corrupt world. The story of Job is needed in these times more than when it was written.

We have been told we will have tribulations in this world. It's hard for us humans to accept that God will allow bad things to happen to us for his will. But this message needs to be told especially in the days we are living. We must have faith that it is God's will for his purpose. But if we are used for God's purpose we should rejoice.

James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

    God bless us, Ron

    Dear Fred,

The Holy Spirit is God the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, the one true God ( John 17:3). You will know you have received the gift of the Holy Spirit when you speak in an unknown tongue and are filled with power to overcome sin by walking after the Spirit and not after the flesh.

As to the issue of sin and God fixing it, He sent His son to die for our sins. Peter preached the new testament gospel (as the NT didn't begin until the day of Pentecost) in Jerusalem to many of the same Jews that crucified Jesus. This Gospel is: Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. - Acts 2:38

Hallelujah! This is how one's (past) sins are remitted (in baptism, calling on the name of Jesus Christ and not the titles F,S&HS) and how one can receive power to live in victory over sin (receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost).

I'm here for you if you have any questions.

    Sincerely,

    Andrew

Divide and conquer is the strategy of the elite, just like what's happening now!

Mark my words, the vaccine will separate the righteous and the wicked, the Godly and the Godless.

It is the manifestation of the separation.

It has begun, and it will reveal who is who.

It will show who trusts in God, and who doesn't.

Wake up people, before it's to late...

This vaccine will make people think evil continually, So when there is food shortages, because those who take 4 vaccines and survive, and think evil continually, they will surely eat one another!

    My backup - ( Jeremiah 19:9 kjv)

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, where with there enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straitened them.

How do u know, what the spirit of the holy is? Is it a feeling, a revelation of some sort? A visit from an outsider? Perhaps a dream ,if so how to interpret it. Being cursed with sin, how can we interpret these things? Is the holy one, the new creature within us? Guiding and directing our path? How do we become one with the spirit? Praying seems fruitless, waiting for his answers, seems unending! Or , how about the times when we think we are in the spirit, and it is nothing more than our self-righteousness! How do we understand these questions, concerning these things of the holy! We are born into sin, our condition is beyond repair, how will God fix it? He must be the one to repair it! We can't. This would be a miracle, if all he had to do is snap his fingers! One thing I know, is I have a free will, How I use it depends on me!

OnlytruthintheworldKJV, while I am reluctant to take the vaccine, I don't think the mark of the beast will be taken by a Christian on accident or unknowingly. I do believe you will be very aware it is from the devil and will make a conscious choice to receive it or not.

I agree that 2020 was a dry run for those times. We are being conditioned and most are under strong delusion already. Praise God for His mercy to those that love The Lord Jesus Christ!!! May He draw many more to His flock before that day comes!

Mary House, I used to watch Shepherd's chapel but something led me away. I believe it had to do with a particular view of his on creation. My advice is no matter what teaching you hear or watch....stay in your bible! Individual study led by the Holy Spirit will prompt you regarding such programs...I have watched many of them. There is no substitute for making time with the Word every day. Each read through will reveal something new! May God bless you daily!

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Genesis 18:27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

Job 4:19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?

Psalms 103:14, Psalms 104:29 , -- Ecclesiastes 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

We haven't cremated any of our family, no plans to. But I wouldn't think it makes a difference.
