    Would the Lord deceive anyone?

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. (Those who seek the Lord totally then NO)

Matthew Chapter 22:36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

What about those who want the IDOL of their sin more than the Lord

Ezekiel Chapter 14:7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:

8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.

9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

...I the LORD have deceived that prophet...not Satan.

Why? cause they loved sin more than the Lord.

I can show you churches in San Fran who teach the Lord created them "gay" and they totally believe they are saved.

they even use a Bible where what they do is not a sin since they are in a "committed relationship"

1 Kings 22:23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD (not satan) hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Humbling to say the least. When you seek the Lord totally he would never deceive you. But when you want sin...

    Jim,

Yes, Jesus is deserving of praise. You do well to praise Him and realize that He is all you need. I agree that He died for all. There are many places in scripture that show that Christ shed His blood for all and that salvation is offered to all who will receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You quoted Part of John 3:16, but here are a few other verses that agree with what you are saying: 1 Timothy 4:10, 1 John 4:14, 1 John 2:2, John 1:29, John 4:42, Hebrews 10:10, Romans 6:10, Hebrews 9:26, Hebrews 9:12.

So you are correct in saying that Jesus suffered and died for all, but unfortunately not all will receive Him. From what you are saying, I can assume that you've received Christ. Continue to praise Him and always keep Him first in your heart and life. God bless!

  • Mishael on WAS MARY SINFUL - In Reply on Matthew 5 - 6 years ago
When Jesus began his Ministry he called himself, THE SON OF MAN.

His blood HAD to be pure from all sin. Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit (who is Spirit and invisible).

Jesus's blood was NOT connected to Mary's blood supply. The spark of life began to grow, by the power of God.

Even tho Mary was married to Joseph, they did not have marital relations till after Jesus's birth. That's scripture.

You can Google ancestry charts on Mary and Joseph; which is very interesting! Both were descended from King David. Jesus had "half" brothers and sisters. No connection by blood or "DNA".

In order to be The Lamb of God, he had to be pure from sin running through bloodlines; he had to live daily without committing any sin, for 33 years.

The Son of Man hung on the Cross as the perfect, sinless; without spot or wrinkle; Lamb of God. After he died, the HUGE Room-sized veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom. Not bottom to top.

That was Him saying the Old Covenant was replaced by the New Covenant.

Who is this Son of Man who gave himself fully for mankind? He never sinned.

We can trust Him with our souls. He wants to be our Lord. Through Him, anybody can be saved; born again. John chapter 3.
  • Mishael on Religion VS Relationship - In Reply on 2 Esdras 6:9 - 6 years ago
That's not really an issue. All people have a responsibility to seek a relationship with God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Some people settle for a religion. Beliefs and Good Works May distract you from entering into a RELATIONSHIP with the Savior: who promises eternal life upon being born again. As it is clearly set forth in John chapter 3.

Your spirit is not even alive unto God, until Jesus Christ's life is made alive in you by making the confession in John 3. Write it down: that's the date you were born again. Your spirit is connected to God through Jesus.

To pray, confess sins (we all need to; nobody is perfect yet). Run to 1 John 8-10.

    Hebrews 4:16, Hebrews 7:25,

    Hebrews 10: 19-23 & Hebrews 10:25

We go to church or home fellowships

Acts chapter 1: 42-47. People need to hear your testimony of how you came to believe.

In Matthew 12:2 It appears Jesus broke the commandment to honor the Sabbath, is this true or is this symbolic for something?
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Matthew 5:9 - 6 years ago
Jim, if Jesus died for ALL then why did he speak in parables to hide the gospel from some?

Matthew Chapter 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is NOT GIVEN not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Malachi 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

God hated Esau (Yes I know they want to CONvince us this means love less)

Obadiah 1:18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

Malachi 1:4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever. indignation is extreme hatred.

...The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.... how long is for ever?

The Lord does not love Esau / Edom and King Herod was of this lineage per Jewish historian Josephus.

If you do not know the sin of Esau I suggest you look into his marriage into the Hittite canaanite lineage.

Very very thin logic. You are good at quoting the Bible as we're the Sadducees and farasees.

I have more than proven my intimate relationship with God my Father and Jesus. I shall remain Perfect in Christ by God who Dwells within me.

Thank you, I didn't notice that before. Both trees, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of Good and the knowledge of evil were in the middle of the Garden. I always pictured them as somewhere in the back, sort of out of the way, hidden.

I know what you are saying but I don't think that that has any particular meaning in this case. It is interesting that they would be in the middle and that may have made them easy to find; but apart from that. I don't see any other significant in their location; but in revelations; it specifically refers to the 7 churches I think, each having significant problems, none of them being true believers in Christ and God. They were sort of in the middle of the road; poor teachers; not doing the job that they should have being doing, sort of like the church when Jesus went there

Thanks again, it was very interesting and it is always good to learn I think. I don't know why I thought that they would have been sort of hidden. I don't think that God would hid these trees from man; but I think that He did with the tree of life from Adam after Adam sinned.

God Bless. Check everything I said out. Check everything everyone says out. I've struggled with some fo those verses for a long time. it all makes sense now. Have a good one. Put a priority on winning souls. I think we are running out of time. I do believe there is a double-fulfillment with certain prophecies.

Jesus froght suffer and die, for all humanity. Not for some , but for everyone. That mean God love us so much , that he gave his only begotten son for us. The first Adam wasn't strong enough , spiritually , Jesus is all we need, than, now and forever. Make sure you praise and glorify him. He's worthy to be praise.

Jeffrey you do not believe in the Godhead?

1 Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

...God was manifest in the flesh...

Trinity is not a Bible word, but Godhead is Are the body, soul and spirit are the same thing

    questions for a oneness devotee

1 Thess 5:23 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Paul says spirit and soul and body)

Isaiah 10:18 - And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth. (Body and Soul different)

Matthew 10:28 - Jesus said: And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. ..........destroy both soul and body in hell.

Isaiah 26:9 - With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. (Soul and Spirit are different)

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,...

Genesis 1:26 - And God said, Let US make man in our image, after OUR likeness

Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 9:6 - Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

So IF one man is Body, Soul and Spirit which is 3 parts and God made man in HIS IMAGE?

How many parts is God? 3? a Godhead? or trinity?

Below that list is a commentary box. Highlight your verse by touching it. Read the commentary.

Her genealogy was chosen for Jesus to come into the earth. She was a Virgin.

Read all the Gospels; particularly the Book of Luke, about Mary's participation. She was a chosen vessel.

Everybody on earth is born into sin. That is why we need a Savior who can wipe that sin as far as the East is from the west. God is Holy and cannot look on sin! That's why the Savior was born.

The public church has spoken of the 3 persons of the God head but they are of course wrong. They got these doctrines from the Popes who are the head of the False Christian Church found in Revelation in the Outer Court not to be measured when looking into the New Jerusalem which is the nature of Jesus God's Holy Son who died so God could dwell in you at your personal Pentecost experience that begins your fast track change into Jesus full sinless nature Perfected. Most churches preach no one is Perfect so God and Jesus through the Apostles are calling these fakers the Anti-Christs.

How could Jesus say I do not know you??? He can say this because the public church after 120AD are become only the Whore Christian church of the Beast empire of the day. Rev tells us by John the Divine Witnessing He is Perfect in Christ Jesus tells him God's message that the BEAST will arise thru many empires and Jesus names each one in order by Daniel. So Now God tells Jesus declare the Perfecting of Saints church go underground not public anymore after 120ADToday only the USA fits being THE Global Empire of Babylon in a whoring relationship with the public False Christian church all public churches under the Popes doctrines believe the same doctrines not from God but from their individual slightly differing doctrines. As Job said Before today I knew you by doctrines Now I know you face to face. So become PERFECT exactly like Christ then you know Jesus and God. God is in heaven when he dwells in you God is referred to as The Holy Spirit. No 3rd person of the God head. Period. The public church does not know the gospel at all only to introduce you to know Jesus is the Son of God who died for your sins but That is as far as they have gotten. Rush with fast feet toward the living God to be Divine as He is.

If you would read an entire chapter from start to end, you would have your answers!

Adam and Eve died SPIRITUALLY, not physically. They were banished from Eden, but still alive. Read through to the genealogies.

    Same thing with Noah:

7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

    8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see IF THE WATERS were abated from off the face of the ground;

9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

    10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;

11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were ABATED from off the earth.

Jesus was coming through Noah's bloodline/ genealogy.

Yes it is adulatory to have sex with some one after you are married and Jesus said further if you even look with lust on another it is adulatory or fornication. Jesus came to transform us into his and God's mind and heart of Divine Nature. God through St. Paul says to Christians and God helping me fight the flesh lusts :" There is no flesh in heaven but spirit only and in heaven their is no male or female but wholeness restored in the spirit like Jesus and God so better to speak with God in prayer and tell him your sin and ask hi to forgive you and make your heart pure again, now. Being Perfect is God's hands on goal so these sins must be completely overcome in your flesh with God's presence

Bob, just another example of the anti-Christ spirit at work. Deterioration of biblical values & warrants everywhere & all in preparation for the revelation of the false Christ. I always make sure to use BC or AD in my references: not much of a witness I know, but if believers stood united in confronting the onslaught by wicked governments in every area of these concerted attempts to weaken the faith & devalue the Cross, then we have stood true to the Word and to the Lord.

I would like to clarify the word precious from the original Hebrew,it means costly. It is the same word as precious metals which are costly. When a man or woman of GOD dies it means that there are or is one less or more living believers to sing praises unto HIM,worship HIM,and most important is to be a believing WITNESS FOR HIM.WE are all appointed for death, unless we are alive at the return of our LORD at the seventh trump with our loved ones who have gone before us and are with the LORD.
