    Bill sometimes those words meaning Lord or King is associated with satanism.

    Baal meant Lord and was so associated with satanism the Lord said not to call him that anymore.

    Judges 2:13 And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.

    Judges 8:33 And it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baalberith their god.

    Jeremiah 19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: (CHILD SACRIFICES)

    Hosea 2:16 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.

    1 Kings 11:5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

    What is this "original Hebrew" stuff? Do you want to call the God of Heaven a name associated with Devils?

    "Wise men lay up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction". Always pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding from God in every aspect of our lives including and most importantly our words so we won't be like the foolish ones who use their mouth to profess their own ruins and destruction.

    First of all, this isn't a place to discuss personal things; however, I remember what needing help is like and not knowing where to turn. Any sexual relations outside of marriage is sin. Period. If you feel you need to help your ex there are plenty of ways besides giving him a place to lay his abusive head. After we accept Christ and are saved, God expects us to change... move forward and not look back. You already know right from wrong. Do it.

    Have you seen a dermatologist yet? You need to. You could be allergic to some of the products you've used.

    Try using very Mild products like baby shampoo and baby cream rinse.

    If the hair is long or thin & brittle, keep it shorter till hair health is better. Google a Diet that supports a healthier scalp. Take a daily multivitamin for you. Boost your immune response.

    Apple Cider vinegar (50/50 with water) fattens the hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse it out.

    I'm not a doctor; so see a dermatologist soon. All this worry is not good.

    There are Many verses you can be praying over your body, Every Day. Our prayers are straight out of a Bible. Move your true dependence on God, through the BLOOD of His beloved Son: Jesus. When your stress level soars, say out loud:

    "I plead the Blood of Jesus from the top of my head, unto the soles of my feet." ...Satan has no power over me anymore. My life is hid in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, now!

    Put a bookmark in PSALM 31. Turn your dependency to the Word of God. Pray it; Live it. As often as you need to.

    REVELATIONS QUESTIONS???

    I am unable to fit all Tribulation events (Seals, Trumpets, and Vials) into a 7 year time period.

    A 7 year time period is not given in the Book of Revelations concerning the Tribulation.

    The Book of Daniel refers to this time period as the final "seven" of the "seventy weeks" ( Daniel 9:24). That final 7 has been going on for over 2000 years.

    In the "midst of the week" does refer to the middle of a set of SEVEN years when the sacrifice and the oblation will cease, and this refers to the 7 Vials of Revelations 16:1-18:24 which are poured out at the END.

    In addition, Jesus said that the time of the "Great Tribulation" would be "shortened" ( Matthew 24:22). We find that this particular time (after the 5th Trumpet and the 1st Woe) is shortened to "five months" (Revelations 9:5). Where does this factor in?

    The period of time covering "Jacob's trouble" ( Jeremiah 30:7) is 20 years; It could be seen as 13 years if the first 7 are not counted; because they seemed "but as a few days" ( Genesis 29:20). Could this be a more plausible time period for all events to take place?

    Patricia, I am praying with and for you asking God to restore you hair quickly and better than before. My devotion this morning was in Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus." He is able, we are trusting in God's power and His love! I will also pray that our understanding of quickly be comprehended with Jesus' timeframe. Many God's blessings to you on this journey of trust, faith, hope and love!

    Yea, I'm like you. I'm not really sure how many bibles I have. They are all KJV bibles except for one Living Bible. That one just collects dust on a bookshelf. I'm not too sure why I even still have it. I guess out of sight, out of mind. I can't give it away because if it's something I won't read, I wouldn't want anyone else to read it either. I'd throw it in the trash but I'm afraid the guy at the dump would get a hold of it.

    I do sometimes look at other bibles to make comparisons. I have four different bible software programs on my computer that have tons of different bibles and other books. There is a free online program you can download from e-Sword. That is one of the programs I have. It gives you several bibles, and many other books that I find helpful.

    I have heard good things about the NKJV but have not read from that one. Chris may have, I don't know, but I do trust his recommendations.

    To this concerns; i want to share how i know and believe speaking into existence, well for Mothers day, my o me a beautiful rose bush, but it died after a few days, but for some reason i kept it outside on balcony, 1 day i decided to water and speak life into it, so i came home from work after the 3rd day, and 1 flower had blossomed onto the bush, i was so amazed by this, but i for some reason had the faith to believe this word i spoke to the plant would come to life, and it did. Glory be to God.

    my question is about divorce and remarriage. My husband left after 23 years of marriage. Shortly after I was remarried to someone who said he was a Christian but isn't. I broke up with him 3 times because of it, but kept going back to him because I felt so bad. Now I'm unequally yoked and feel as though I've co.mitted a sin that I can't be forgiven of. My life is miserable, full of anxiety and fear. Its causing a lot of problems to the point I want out of this marriage. Please help.

    LOL. I have never seen those verses. I only say that for people who have trouble with eth on the end of words.

    I think Chris said the new KJV is a better version to get. I tried to read a NIV but gave up.

    I have a real hard time "retiring old Bibles".

    What do you do?

    I completely agree with you on the King James but the Living Bible is no bueno (Spanish for not bueno) My very first Bible was the Living Bible. My mother gave it to me when I was very young. I still own it but never read it. It is not even a translation. It is a paraphrase and a very poor one in my opinion. It says things like God was on the toilet, and in one place it says says "son of a b....." I could probably share with you many places in the Living Bible that might change your mind on recommending it. I just wanted to share this with you. Like I said, I do own a Living Bible and I have a lot of things marked up in it that are questionable.

    Jesus exchanged HIS armor with US. Why?

    Because we are warring against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:10-18. Read ALL those center column references to other Books. See Isaiah 24:21-22. Romans 13:1-5,11-12; John 12:31

    Jesus did not leave us here to just wear a wedding garment and hold a lamp of oil.

    He left us scripture that we're to do spiritual war in the heavenlies. It's about strong faith and prayer: intercession; "standing in the gap". Jesus is making intercession for us right now! People come into the prayer room with grievous problems we SHOULD BE praying & doing war for. Ephesians 6:12, Romans 8:38, Colossians 1:9, 16-17; 2:15. 1 Thessalonians 5:8

    Standing in the gap is when you hold a lamb in your arms of prayer, and war against the demonic hoards that are trying to kill it; steal its life, destroy its hope in Jesus! It should make you want to save that lamb. Do you have any "lambs" in your life? Are you willing to snatch it out of the hands of Satans hoard of demons, WITH the WORD of God?

    You have a wealth of Bible Knowledge but are any lambs being saved with weighty speech? Don't you want to receive a Crown at Bema Seat? What would Jesus do? He showed us in His Gospels. If we are His followers we will imitate what he was Doing.

    Multitudes of people are committing suicide for unbelievable reasons. That's on Satans scoreboard. Is there anyone who will challenge that? Do you know how to take the scriptures and frighten the demons off of someone on a chair with a rope around their neck? Or a hypodermic needle going in an arm.

    Parents!Pray rightly for your kids. Punch out Satan! We have permission!

    I'm thinking there is one Word of God, and that is the Son of Man, who is Jesus.

    We're living in the last days. It becomes more and more evident the separation of Christians by the Names of Their Religion.

    Book of Mormon

    Jehovah Witnesses: rewrote their Bibles to blot out "GOD" and change it to Jehovah (through the entire Bible)

    The Catholic Bibles

    Look at the Publishers page in the Bible before purchasing.

    King James Version Bible has the purest translation I think. However a Living Bible is easier for adolescents and teenagers to understand at first. I have 2: both hopelessly marked up/can't read it. :/

    If I'm wrong, the Holy Spirit will be by later to set me straight. :o

    Connie, you are right. My doctor did not tell me that I was going to lose a lot of hair and have bald spots under a surgery he suggested. I cry and cry. I hope I'm not being wrong in claiming verse 2:...answer me speedily. Also 13...time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come. Please pray with me for a miracle that my hair be quickly restored and be better than before. Thank you very much. . Connie, I pray that God may Richly Bless You. June 18, 2020

    A lot of format heavy metal artists profess being Christians now. They are still touring as they did previously. That's how they made their fortunes. People need to pray for them. A little compromise is never a good thing.

    On YouTube search testimonies of rock musicians who are Christians now.

    Jesus commands weather. Book of Job. You can pray for favor in disasters of weather. Grow your faith.

    You have also touched on something else I think is important, and that is some of these mega-ministries. 1 Peter 4:8 says "And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins."

    Number one, he says and above all things. That means top priority. Have fervent charity among yourselves: And the word charity is the word Agape love. The word fervent literally means to stretch out the hand, or to extend out the hand.

    So he's presenting a picture of an active love. In James Chapter 2, James says if somebody comes along and they're hungry and they need clothing, and you say "Well, I'll pray for you," what good is that? Faith without works is a dead faith. So when its hardships and when there's suffering, have an active extended love, and notice this: among yourselves.



    If any of you have any knowledge of the Greek, the term among yourselves is in the Attributive Position. But the focus is supposed to be on fellow believers. Just like Jesus said, people will know you're my disciples by your love for one another.



    One of the sickening things I've seen over the years is church ministries bringing in several million dollars a year for their projects to reach the uncivilized world. And that's great if that's what the Lord is leading you to do. But I notice that right around the church, there are a lot of people needing help.

    But they look beyond that. They look at what looks good on the tote board. And even some people within the church are suffering and going without, and the sensitivity isn't there. Suffering creates sensitivity. Have an extended love among yourselves, for love shall cover the multitude of sins. That is from Proverbs 12:10.

    Why cover a multitude of sins? Because that is what brings division and hardship within the body of Christ. We have to have an active extended love for repentance and restoration of sin. We have to deal with the sin issue in the body of Christ!
