I am sure you know many Jews claim to not believe in God. Those who do attend Synagogue or Temple many study from the Babylonian Talmud. Talmud means learning so Babylonian learning which is the opinion of rabbis. Some of which came from Babylon. Much of this is oral tradition and Jesus condemned it as the tradition of the elders. The Rabbis did not even agree with each other and much of it contradicts what the Torah or Tanach teaches.
Even the unbelieving Jews or Pharisees acknowledge in their writings admit Jesus performed many miracles.
You have a choice either Jesus did his miracles via God the Father or He was a master of kabbalah.
Ask in prayer for the truth and read the gospels.

Actually its stated that Jesus is Lord in Genesis 1:26 when God said that lets make man in our image. meaning that in creation God wasn't alone and this is also confirmed in John 1:1-4.
they can receive salvation by believing in God as its stated in John 3 when Nicodemus asked Jesus how he could be born again. actually salvation was first for the Jews and it then came to the gentiles as its stated by Paul in romans 1:16.
You don't have to learn to love Christ because nothing you can do in your strength lasts forever ( psalm 73:26) but just pray that God can teach you to love Him.

If the Lord wanted EVERYONE to follow 'his son' and think of Jesus he is 'Lord',wouldn't it say so SOMEWHERE in Genesis if for no other reason than to give the Jews a heads up? Or because Jews were the 'chosen' people, are they supposed to use the direct line to G-d?
I am Jewish and friends of mine who are not, basically WARN that in order to be 'saved' you must come to the realization that Jesus IS G-d?I love all people...so, I can love Jesus, but to 'take him as Lord and Savior'is just not what we ever learned in Hebrew school! In fact, Jesus was NEVER really spoken about in the life of the Jews that Ive known! So, can anyone tell me how those that are Jewish are to receive salvation? TY

An acquaintance described a likely outcome from the story of Noah that I had not taken seriously up until now -- one of inbreeding. If at the end of the flood, all we had was Noah, his wife, and his sons and their wives -- the only way we could have grown the world's population after that would be for the family and the children of the family to procreate with each other -- which causes inbreeding without any know exception. Hmmm....

for we walk by faith not by site. so faith without work is dead, and obedience is greater than sacrifice so our work is to work out our salvation with respect an reverence we have commandments an the word of god to obey trust the lord lean no to your own understanding.

We need to forget about what we would like or are comfortable doing. The only question we should have is, "What saith the Lord?"

Jesus had to anoint the blindman a 2 nd time,he cd not see clearly under the 1st anointing, the blindman is the Church that cd not see clearly under early church doctrine the 1st anointing. Thats y Paul said we see like thru a glass darkly, nobodycan see clearly under early church doctrines thats y there are a zillion different churches everybody sees a different vision.Jesus took the blindman by his hand and led him outta of the city.Jesus took Israel by the HAND AND led her outta of Egypt AND SHE WAS REFERED TO AS THE CHURCH.THAT 2 ND ANOINTING is when the book is opened and GOD pours out his spirit on all flesh, when that which is perfect is come the 2nd anointing when the Manchild comes

When we except Christ the anointed one as our LORD AND SAVIOR to get into HEAVEN. What is our job now as a Christian here on earth? To bring others into the KINGDOM of LIGHT?? Is it to avoid the lust of flesh, eyes, pride of life?? What is the main purpose now? To remain single or marry? Please help me out I do not understand. Some people say we can truly enjoy life others have told me... "we must deny flesh and our desires daily and live for the LORD"

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Notice he said let US (plural) make man in OUR (plural) image. God don't deceive to deceive is guile.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
A woman was made to be a help mate and companion.
Sodomy is rebellion against the Lord and his creation.
    Read Romans chapter 1 sometime.

Part 4) In the book of life, if a person rejects Christ, their name is removed from the book of life as if they've never been born. They're gone! No one is ever blotted out of the Lamb's book of life. I know it's not that God has books up there. But it's just a human example or an illustration that God knows everything, all the people that have been born, and all the people that belong to Christ.
He says I will not blot out his name out of the book of life. And I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Jesus said that He would do that.

Again, my apologies for taking up so much space.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Acts 2 - 6 years ago
Part 3) In Exodus 32:32-33, the ones who God told Moses would be blotted out were those who were worshipping another god. Moses asked God to blot him out but God did not do it. Moses worshipped God. The others did not, and God tells us who He would blot out. It is my understanding that God will blot out those who refuse to surrender their life to Christ. But for those who receive and worship Him, He will not blot out. Studying all the references in both the OT and NT seem to indicate that there is more than one book. The Jews knew that. There's the book of life which has listed in it everyone that has received human life. And then there's the book of the Lamb, those who belong to Christ.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Acts 2 - 6 years ago
Part 2) All genuine born again believers are pictured in the scriptures as overcomers. It's impossible to not overcome. Why? It's because Christ has overcome, and He dwells in us. In 1 John 4:3-4 says the spirit of antichrist is in the world, but we have overcome them, Perfect Tense. It's already done because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
So if Christ is always in me from the very second that I receive Christ, and He'll be there throughout eternity, then it will be impossible for me to not overcome, because He overcomes, and has overcome!

Sorry but I am out of space, but will continue.

So were all the SONS OF GOD of Genesis 6 the men who were ALL righteous

the DAUGHTERS OF MEN were all women who were ALL wicked and evil

So all the men were godly and the women were evil ?

Really can we believe this: all the men were godly and the women were evil

then the godly men and wicked women got married and believers and unbelievers had children who were GIANTS
so where are these giants today? Playing for the NBA?

2 Samuel 21:20 - And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.

see any unbelievers running around with 6 fingers?
  • Jesse - In Reply on Acts 2 - 6 years ago
He that overcomes is a Present Participle. It literally reads to the one who is overcoming, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Rev 21:7 says he that overcomes shall inherit all things. The term he that overcomes sounds like a challenge. It sounds like it would be a possibility, like "if" you do it. But in the Greek text, it is the one who (is) overcoming. In Chapters 2 and 3, the letters to the seven churches, at the end of each message, the same phrase is found, to the one who is overcoming, he will receive a reward. (Due to space, I will send more).

When you confess Him and you receive his body and blood in faith, your sins are washed away and you are a born again child of God! We In fact are redeemed from sin and death, Christ having become our sacrifice, while fulfilling all righteousness .Our atonement for sin,our "Passover lamb". You need only to believe. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Behold I stand at the door and knock. Open your heart and let him abide. Trust in Him and lean not unto your own understanding! All your ways acknowledge HIM! Salvation is yours, and fades not away, it is kept for you! These promises of salvation are sealed, with his BLOOD! Receive HIM today

    Find a scripture about lying?
  • Fred Scanlan - In Reply on Luke 24 - 6 years ago
That unlike some churches today , they were prevented from reading the old testament, that the church then, like today, would have the power to make people believe in false doctrine.Teach only the law ,faith by works. Clearly Christ taught and proved who he was ,the messiah. The word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Christ reveals the Father and the Son. While, we who through faith, are born again in the knowledge of God, we become his witness unto the ends of the world! Christ healed those who could not SEE, or HEAR, the DUMB, LAMB. This is the power in His word, not only the physical, but the spiritual deaf, dumb, and blind.those that have ears to hear, eyes to see. Christ is to save us.

    Son of God
"The plural, "sons of God," is used ( Gen. 6:2, 4) to denote the" pious descendants of Seth. In Job 1:6; 38:7 this name is applied to the angels.
