  • Jeffer Ochoa on Psalms 116 - 6 years ago
I was brought down low in confusion and afflictions troubles on every side I didn t know what to do then the Lord in his grace and mercy heard my cry and answered me, he said surly I believe, I am his servant, I belong to him, he heard my voice and I am grateful I will always call upon his Name and Praise him for his loving kindness towards me. Amen

God is a fair judge. People who die without being exposed to the truth will be judged fairly. Young children who die will be judged fairly ( Matthew 18:3). People who were murderers committing massive evil acts for 99% of their life then accept Christ right before death will be judged fairly ( Romans 14:12). There is no reason to believe God will be unfair in judging anyone under every situation ( Psalms 7:11).

God has many names. My favorite is the "I AM" . The particular person is The Father , and the Son. These two being one, together in the creation of the universe, while at the same time creating the Holy spirit , which returns to man through faith in the redemption of the Father and the Son . Being revealed through the Word. The word was made flesh and dwelt among us. John;3;16 His only begotten Son . Begotten from all eternity. We can have this same unity of love, given through Christs sacrifice "ATONEMENT".

  • Larry on Acts 2 - 6 years ago
You are right, Andrew Kelly, it is all confusion. Confusion is of the devil and is Babylon. He also said, Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you... And it's up to you to seek Him and to find out what they are, and to obey and do your first works after you have believed by Grace.

Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?
  • Tommy Asbury - In Reply - 6 years ago
Tithing was nothing more than a tax system in the old testament. It isn't a new testament command or principle.
2Co 9:7 KJV Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Tithing isn't mentioned in the New testament except in Hebrews and the subject in that passage isn't about giving, but rather about Jesus and Melchizedek.

If an individual wishes to give a percentage then let them do so with the verse above in mind. Because it's in their heart to do so and not made or dictated to.
But even in that it's still not based on a certain percentage. It can be any percentage or specific amount like 50.

It is 2020 and the day and hour mention above has arrived again, and most are so drunk on this, that or whatever. individually or collectively so drunk we do not see GOD is allowing the above to repeat globally in 2020. Nevertheless we thank Jehovah /GOD for all HIS BLESSING, especially SALVATION through John 3:16-2. Also as the above WILL of GOD is carried out.... yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for GOD IS WITH ME.

Thank You Joe. I finally realized that these last days have been so dark that the darkness seemed to be swallowing me up. I came across a song "Master the Tempest is Raging" by Acapeldridge on Youtube. I know that Devils are on the rise since the time is short but I am in this race for the long haul and Jesus is my prize. God Bless

The Scriptures below will be helpful for those who are unaware that the early Church in Acts met every day of the week not just on Saturday Acts 2:41-47 God also tells us in Romans15:5-6 that the day we choose to fellowship is acceptable to Him. As we see confirmed Paul Preached on the Sunday; Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week when the Disciples came Together to break bread and Paul Preached unto them....

For Sarah Lott: I believe the verse for the day for Sunday 2-2-2020 was John 14:27 " Peace I leave with you, my peace
I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." I just
read this verse at my fathers funeral on Thursday 1-30-2020. I also read this verse to my church after my daughter Tracey passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on January 16, 2002. The LORDS words are faithful and true. May those who need peace, find it through the LORDS sacrifice given for mankind....believe, repent and obey. The King of the Universe is worth living for him. Who doesn't want eternal life??

Our terrestrial bodies have no use, once we die. We will have new holy & perfected bodies in Heaven. Therefore, if a believer is cremated (although it isn't mentioned in the bible to be), they will receive a new holy & perfected body and will be accepted in Heaven.
  • Jesus Holds My Babies on Matthew 19 - 6 years ago
I Never Held my Babies in a Warm and Loving Embrace or Watched with Wonder the Joy that Brightened their Face I never saw their Smiles or held them in my arms or was I ever Enraptured by all their Childlike charms. Although my dreams were many and I longed to Hold them Close the Joy of their Childhood I never was to know. They are my Precious Ones and will always be in my Heart and my Love for them will never ever depart. Do I understand Gods purposes in this life I may never know but I Trust and Believe His Promise only His Love will be Shown. For deep within my Heart I know without a doubt that my Children are in Heaven that is what His Grace is All about.Matthew19:14

I know what I think don't mean a hill of beans. But here goes, when a person is baptized you are saying to God, " I have made a decision for God and Jesus Christ. And in the same telling the world which side of the football you are on.It allows us a connection with our Savior- Jesus was baptized and we follow in His footsteps in believers baptism. My opinion is like my feet they stink sometimes. But here I believe I am on the right side of the football. Or I made a " RINGER " (horseshoes".

What a Mighty God we serve. This is the same God who took 3 men into a fiery furnace and brought them
out without no harm. Praise God for being in the fire. Today God is with us too if we trust, keep and honor
his word. God will protect his children and angels will follow God s commands. We should live the life that
God honors so when we need God he rescues up. Thanks God for your words and promises.
