This chapter is precious to me , it confirms that the Bible has all of the answers we need actually more than enough . When the Bible is silent on a subject , consider it of Little value , or it does not exist .
I have been reading the Bible Kjv many yrs and it s way to deep for man to even think of it , and way too good for the devil as well to have thought of it . Truly divinely inspired .

One can say Trinity is not in the Bible, however the word Godhead is.

God made man in HIS IMAGE and the Bible says man has
    1. BODY, (is not your)
    2. SOUL (is not your)
    3. SPIRIT (is not your Body)
    3 parts = 1 man

1 Thess 5:23 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Act 17:29 - Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

If a man thinks he can be lost after salvation and is taught to depend on his own works of righteousness he will try instead of trust and will surely fail. Salvation produces good works because we have been born of God. You will never have enough good works to merit salvation.
  • MICHAEL A HART on Jonah 3 - 6 years ago
The 1611 text for Jonah 3:1 - And the word of þe Lordcame vnto Ionah. The original edition, the word Lord is separated by a newline from came.

While recovering from sexual sin I wrote this poem THE MOUNTAIN
There looms a mountain before me it s top I cannot see, how long I ve been climbing I remember not, seems to me the time has come for me to return to where I m from, as I turn I see just how far I be come so now I ll take a step the step above... This proverb reminds me that God can deliver me from any sin just like he did king David.

I counted about (45) in my Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible : it means
Aroma; pleasing & acceptable:fragrance (sacrifices acceptable to God)

    Genesis 8:21
    Exodus 29:18
    Exodus 29:25
    Leviticus 1:9
    Numbers 15:3
    2 Corinthians 2:15

    Hopefully that's helpful :)

we need not think that all those who are inclined to the religious persuasion, are capable of rejoicing over lives being changed by Jesus. Only those who have experienced genuine salvation, will be blessed and excited by the renewing of others. This man could not explain what had happened, his parents could only testify to what they personally knew, but the others would not believe their own eyes.

God created male and female.... there are some with birth defects, that can't help it. But that is it. God is against being gay and lesbian, as it is against the very nature of what he created male and female for. The Bible plainly states this, and God gives those "unnatural" people over to a reprobate mind...meaning that they will not learn the right way.
  • Bren - In Reply on Joshua 24 - 6 years ago
Right. We need to get back to God's standard of living. Amen.
  • Obbie Beal on Daniel 4 - 6 years ago
27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquility.... NOTE in 27 above, Daniel is keenly aware of the results of sinful actions of the King. These actions had a very negative affect on the personal life of the King. 2020 is no different because having a lot or little and leaving Jehovah /GOD out of our plans shall sooner or later rob one of tranquility /the peace that only GOD can give. Jesus is very familiar with evil actions such as in this verse above, therefore JESUS said, see Mathew 11:28-30.... SALVATION by JOHN 3:16-21 open the door.

Arnetta--A very good chapter to live by. God has given us authority over ALL our enemies. You can order them out of your life in the name of Jesus Christ. Pray to God through Christ for help & He will help you. God bless you.

What is the greatest deception? There is one in the old testament and one that is a false doctrine for the new testament.
First deception was the deception with Eve and Satan, how the Satan twisted God's word. Satan twisted the word to the woman, and she believed. The door back home was closed, then God came back in the flesh to open the door to who will believe the truth of God's word. Second biggest deception was from the church, the false doctrine is the trinity. Our Father and creator came down in the flesh and hung it on the cross. The last name and the name above all names is Jesus Christ. Satan came and twisted the word of God in the church( woman ). 3 into 1 God is a false doctrine.

There are only two commands given to the church: Lords Supper, and Baptism. Anything other than that falls into the matra of Legalism. Further, by mine own thoughts. All of our nerve ending are in our feet, figuratively we are to walk accordingly.

Those scriptures while speaking of the old testament law of tithing are still old testament law and before the church begins. What we are looking for is the new testament principle of giving and that is found not only in 2 Cor. 9:7 but also in Acts 5. The reason for the tithe in the old testament was simply a tax system that was to support the Levites because God had commanded them they were not allowed to own land or work but to serve continually in the temple. Not only did the Israelites tithe but there were also offerings apart from the tithe. The tithe not only consisted of monetary means, but also of possessions like livestock, food, Land etc. So if we are to tithe we must follow it all

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
Genesus 1:26 Let US make man,
Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
