The reason the churches of today are not teaching true biblical principle is for many reasons such that mostly relates to financial gain for not telling the truth. If you go to the mega churches you will not hear the pastor preaching that sin will cause you to go to Hell, how to live a life pleasing unto the Lord. How the Lord honors marriage, how we should train up our children in the word and fear of God.

Why would we pray for the Lord to have mercy on America when the scripture has told us what is going to happen. Their is repayment for sin and God is coming back to judge this nation for the treatment of his people, however judgement will start in the church first.

The Bible declares that " If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and heal their land ".

Not only is sex trafficking a problem of today but rape and all manner of illicit sex also occurred during slavery until today.

Your right about this church. Let us never l se our first love. Many church people are so busy doing things for the church...social groups....garage sales etc. that they put the Lord on the back burner and soon their first love is warm

Unless, I've missed something over the years....Women do have a special place in Gods' service, but not behind the pulpit! Man and man only!

Paul , in corinthians lays a huge reprimand on them for telling the woman to keep silent in the church, goes so far as to say, if you insist on being ignorant, be ignorant. So in Timothy he is not contradictory. He is speaking about a woman and the man. Those are singular. A man and his wife or Jesus and the church. We know the scriptures say in Christ there is neither male nor female. We also know a man and wife are one, neither male nor female, but both as one. Take the scriptures in their entirety, everything has to fit, if it doesn't it's our understanding that lacks, not Gods word.

It appears you either didn't fully read my comment or else ignored that I said loving enemies is talking about people, not satan. You can take your argument up with Jesus if you disagree with what he clearly commanded in Matthew 5:44. Are you disregarding new testament verses with direct quotes from Jesus and preferring instead to cite an old testament verse out of context solely because it fits your position?

Where is this mentioned in the Bible? I have studied bible prophecy for years and taught on it and don;t recall this.

I believe this to be none other than those who at this time were gathering together in the churches already. Fellow Christians in other churches.

The Bible does not allow for women Preachers let alone Pastors. Mary did not preach in any way. God has established his principle for the order of the Church and that has not changed. Women have and important role in the Church and the Bible gives that role. But it does not include preaching or holding a pastor's position. They are not to even teach in the church where men are present. They can however teach the young women, children. God has clearly laid this out in his holy word. I know this goes against the grain of the modern church but God's word never changes and never will.
