The Bible is clear that our past sins are washed away and we are cleansed by Jesus' sacrifice. 1 John 1:7. Remember Paul used to murder Christians and was forgiven. This is my second time reading through Ruth. I am trying to read all of the bible, and a dear friend suggested I start with Ruth because our conversation at the time was related to our relationship with our mother . God bless Ruth because she was loyal and faithful, but I wonder that the main character here is not Boaz. His character is remarkable for his honor and love, as well.

It's my opinion that God created more people either after Adam and Eve or at the same time. I think this for a few reasons. First, because Cain and Seth had wives. If the women were from Eve then they would be their sisters. Second it says there was a land of Nod outside of eve. If there were no other people why would this land be named, unless it was a community. I think races came from Babel.

My significant other has had at times a very worldly past but has given herself to Christ and asks for forgiveness continually.But she hears voices that tell her she is not forgiven and is still hore other bad things. Ive prayed with her about this many times but all my explanations seem to be frugal.does any body have any words for her that might help or scripture that I can refer to.

Santi I agree Love is an Action not just a Word. God Tests us by giving us Opportunities to walk in The Fruit of The Spirit and when needed gives us His Strength and Longsuffering during the Storms of Life. Santi it's not God who Temps us to do evil James13 but we do reap the evil we sow which is God's Loving Discipline to bring us to our Senses and to Heart Repentance. Sacrifice? In the verse that you reference don't show provision of sacrifice. It is true that sacrifices were practiced. How do you know that God didn't simply grant them a reprieve?

It is my understanding that God is cautioning Cain that if he does sin that "sin" shall rule over him as Adam rules over Eve. If he doesn't "sin" he will receive honor from God.

What was he supposed to offer? Cain was a tiller of the ground. It is highly offensive to work hard and not be recognized. According to your perspective, God is ungrateful and a waste of time.

Ben, I hope you have been helped. Pray and ask the Lord to lead you into all truth. Seek his face and the Holy Spirit will manifest to you the things you ask. He has many teachers but the Spirit of God knows all things. Jesus loves to be asked and he loves to answer. Sometimes we cant hear because we listen to hard. Listen for a small still voice and he will speak to you because he wants to.

Combing what I learned so far, everything begins in the spirit realm first. The physical realm second. The body is in the spirit. The first death is of spirit and the second death is physical. Death is separation from God. Chastisement is to preserve life while punishment is death.
