Corie, the word Allah is not in the KJV bible. It is a Muslim word for their god. The Koran probably uses this word. The NKJV bible is not true to the KJV in that it is a newer translation of the KJV which is the original translation of the manuscripts. Teachers use the NKJV but it is your choice as to which Bible you want to learn from. I changed to the KJV because of these factors. Your choice.

Thank you Cristi for your comment. I researched the KJV 1911 Companion Bible and with wording, punctuation, and phrases, it read that each day was 24 hours day and night . I guess we don't really have to know. Dear Rod, it was in the book of Acts. Paul was warned multiple times notto go back to Jerusalem, but instead to go to Rome, but he disobeyed. Acts 20:22-23, again in Acts 21:10-12. Paul ended up losing two years of his ministry because of this, as shown in Acts 24:27, when he could have been out preaching, he was locked up. But the Lord still got Paul to Rome anyway, in the end, Acts 27:23-24.
